Memory Lane Mountain River Cabin

Welcome to Memory Lane Cabin! The cabin is on 2 acres, and is right on the Nottely River (30ft from the porch). You can tube down the river, or fish for rainbow trout right in the back yard. We are surrounded by the beautiful mountains of the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest and the cabin offers seasonal partial views. Waterfalls, hiking trails, downtown Blairsville, state parks, are all around 10 minutes or less from the cabin! Close to Helen and easy access to the cabin, NO steep driveway/road! Great little spot on the river, hosts communicated well and had everything we could need including Christmas decor all around. Would recommend to anyone coming to the area.

We stayed for 4 days at this property. It was fantastic Host were easy to reach. Quickly gave us all the info we needed. The home is beautiful. Very clean. Even had Christmas decorations up since it was near Christmas. Fully stocked to meet every need. On a rainy day we took full advantage of the game room. If I could give it 10 stars I would. Hope to stay there again.

There was great communication with the host. The mountain house has amazing views. We enjoyed the spa after spending the days hiking waterfalls. The gameroom was even fun for us adults.

Our host were awesome and quick to respond. The cabin was quaint and cozy. We had everything we needed to cook with plus some. The bathroom was stocked and had plenty of towels. The view was awesome of the river and trees. Enjoyed watching the deer come to eat every evening. And we had an added bonus and got to see a light snow as William said their first dusting of this season. Would definitely book this cabin again. Highly recommend!

The cabin was very clean, comfortable beds, beautiful landscaping, Kitchen fully equipped. It was easy to find and very quiet. We enjoyed cooking hot dogs and marshmallows on the firepit and relaxing and listening to the sounds of the river. Communiation with the owner was excellent. When we had a question, he was very prompt to reply, better than any place we have stayed.I am 84 yrs young and the yard was level with easy access to the river. We loved the deer and were greeted by 4 the day we arrived and they came to say goodbye the day we left. The housekeeper was super.. We will be back!

The house is right between two other houses, but they were unoccupied, so our stay was very private. The house checked all of our boxes: waterfront, hot tub, swing, hammock, tons of yard and porch space, fire pit, awesome game room, smart tvs, central location, stocked kitchen. The host was responsive, helpful and gave great recommendations. I loved morning coffee on the creek benches, and the breeze through the house with both screen doors open. Very happy with our stay! A great deal!

The hot tub was set and 95 and quickly increased to 100 degrees to relax in. A few bees and nats had to be screed out before we got in, but that was easy with the screen at hand.

The river was great. It was easy access to fish or have coffee down by the river. The pantry was fairly well stocked with seasoning. We wished there was a dishwasher instead of hand washing everything. The hot tub could have been bigger and chemicals for the hot tub should be easier accessible with instructions. Some bromine, or defoamer would have been nice to have while using the hot tub. There was traffic background noise, that slowed down a little bit after dark. There was ample seating outside but only a table for four inside the house.

We enjoyed our time here! It provided the perfect environment for both a fun and restful vacation. Cabin was very clean and well stocked. Quiet and secluded location, but very conveniently located to stores/restaurants/attractions. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

What a great cabin!

We had such a great time!!! Playing games, enjoying the hot tub, the scenery (deer, water) , fished! A great place for a family, couple or a couple of couples to enjoy!! Excellent get away place! Perfect scenery from the back porch to the hammock to the river right in the back yard. The communication was great from the owner. It was clean and everything was accessible. My daughter took over the hot tub and my son had a blast in the game room. We'll definitely be back.

Close, yet remote.

Less then 15 minutes from town, it is one of the best cabins on the Nottley River. The access to the water is superb even for elderly, but no wheelchair access. Water is clear, cold, less than waist deep with a decent current and small rapid right at the cabin. Great for age 6-12 to run up and down with tubes, older kids might want something with access to swimming hole (5'), parents can sit a folding chair in the shallows and soak their feet without getting soaked.

The stay was great, we enjoyed everything about the property my grandsons loved the fishing and the game room, we all love the hot tub and my wife and I love how scenic the property is with the beautiful deers that arrived at the property often. The nature sounds and scenery was unforgettable and we would sure like to stay again in the future. The property managers were great to communicate with they are awesome.

Slice of Heaven in Blairsville

If you stumble across this property, do yourself a favor and just go ahead and book it! This is truly a hidden gem in a non tourist town that is absolutely breathtaking with its views! The cabin is very remote yet only about 10 minutes from town. At Memory Lane, we made a lot of 1st time memories with our kids! First trout (and fish in general) caught, first hot tub experience, first hiking trips @ Vogel State Park and so much more. Just book!!

3rd visit!

We love this cabin! We have stayed here 3 tomes and plan on returning soon Great for families, close to fishing, shopping and hiking. Easy accesss to restaurants when you do not want to cook!

Relaxing and beautiful place

House is fully equipped with games and cookware. River behind the house is beautiful. Great location, the views are spectacular. Surrounding areas are full of beautiful towns and attractions.

Memories on Memory Lane

House was in a wonderful location, close to everything yet felt far away. The creek in the back was beautiful, there were benches and a hammock swing to enjoy the sounds and sites. The hot tub and game room was a hit for the adults and kids! The house has all of tour basic amenities and we werr lucky enough to see some deer while visiting.

Excellent Family Cabin

We definitely made the right decision to stay at Memory Lane Cabin! We spent most of our time away from the home, however, the time we did spend there was very enjoyable! The place was clean and well stocked with basic home essentials. The owner was prompt with replying to my messages and most all the information we needed was in the cabin on the fridge and in the welcome book. We enjoyed the creek out back. Listening to the water was relaxing, though, the road is pretty close to the cabin so there is a bit of noise. We appreciated the fast WiFi and TV. My brother noted that there wasn’t any lamps so navigating to your bed at night may require a flashlight; there were night lights throughout. We used the game room the last night and it was a blast! Plenty for fun games to play. We saw a herd of deer one morning and a heron in the creek another. If in the area and available, this will be the first place we stay in the future. It was a pleasure!
