This unique vacation suite is situated in a convenient location. This apartment is an attached duplex, with me living in the other side of the duplex. I have a harlequin and a blue Great Dane. Even though they are docile pets, they can act a fool when guests arrive in my absence. For this reason, I have removed the shared wall in the apartment and added more noise insulation as well as having permanently removed a connecting door.I have created a barrier so that my dogs don't interact with guests. All of this being said, is to give you the opportunity to decline if you might be uncomfortable or fear large dogs. The apartments private keyed entry opens into a 3 room vacation get away with all of the privacy of home. The living/kitchen area features a wall of windows to view the sidewalk passers by or close the blinds for complete privacy. There is a full size refrigerator. The kitchen is fully equipped with all of the cookware and dishes needed. The bedroom has a queen size bed. There is a full closet in the bedroom. There is also drawer space. The bath has a spacious shower but no bathtub. You are within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, live music/raw and steam bar. Live music is Thursday-Sunday at Fathoms. Food and libations are available. I usually get a pound of yummy steamed shrimp. There is the Crooked River Lighthouse to visit and climb. Boating and fishing are great in both the fresh and salt water. I have mens and ladies bikes available. I love to ride my bike to Carrabelle Junction for breakfast. Then, I usually can't resist a bike ride to the waterfront to see who's catching fish. There are many fresh and salt water kayaking spots also. The WWII Museum of Carrabelle is in the process of building a new facility across from the public beach. I have a gas grill for your use as well as outdoor furniture and a fire pit.

Great value on the beautiful Forgotten Coast. Easy access to National Forests and beach.
Everything you need in a cozy little space.
We loved it and plan to go back when we can. Tina couldn't have been nicer.
Quiet and cozy. Mrs Tina had all we needed and gave us privacy. Nice outside sitting area. We had to leave early but overall was a great, relaxing stay.
Not as advertised but property description has supposedly been updated since
When you go on vacation, you don't want distractions and annoyances that you have to deal with in your everyday life. Upon arrival to the "bungelow," I noticed it was actually an addition onto the end of a trailer. I was told it was like a duplex. This is nothing like a duplex. I live in a duplex. It was really like going to visit a family member and staying in a separate part of the same house. I felt as though I was invading the owner's space and she mine. I wasn't there long and got to experience the Great Dane that lives in the trailer. It barked for hours and hours. I do love dogs, but again vacation is a time to get away from those types of things. I just wanted quiet. It barked until the owner returned which was nearly midnight. I decided the next day to find another place to stay but couldn't get anything until day 3. I could hear everything going on next door like her feet on the floor in her bedroom that is wall-to-wall with the "bungelow" bedroom. I could hear the dog jumping off the bed, which means they could hear me. It was just awkward and uncomfortable. I do think the owner is a nice lady and had good intentions. The inside of the vacation apartment is as the photos indicate. It is cute and quaint. However, the property is very cluttered with lots of stuff including an Airstream trailer that is being converted to house parents. I know folks are just doing what they have to do to make it in this world, but folks going on vacation don't want to be a part of a stranger's personal life. We want peace and quiet and solitude. While I don't want to discourage others from staying there, honesty is important. I would've liked to have known these things when booking so I could've made a well-informed judgment call and saved everyone the hassle of switching vaca homes mid-stream. To the owner's credit, she willingly refunded my money for the remaining nights.
Tina is awesome 🙂
Very beautiful cottage with a comfortable vibe and decor. Waking up to rooster sounds and bikes to use was perfect! She gives privacy as well as great conversation on the porch and gardens. She made our stay super!
Had a very nice time, the bungalow had everything you would need and more, Tina was great to work with, would definitely stay again
