You'll enjoy a single-family residential experience, with a common wall adjoining only 1 other residence, and a circle drive on our corner lot that is not adjacent to the attached home's driveway, plus your own private 2-car garage. When you feel like socializing, take a short stroll to the clubhouse, with tennis court, community pool and fitness center. Live like a local, near shopping, boating, jet skiing, fishing, surfing, snorkeling, scuba diving and para-sailing. Play golf on the Island and other nearby courses, too! Although you will not have sole use of a dock on the Harbour Landings private marina, you can enjoy the view. Wander past the docks in the common area, on your way to the local seafood restaurants, where the day’s catch is fresh off the boat in the historic Cortez village, celebrating over 100 years of commercial fishing in the Gulf of Mexico.

This wonderful villa has been our primary home for 9 years. (Our redbone hound, Leo, learned to paddleboard here!) Now we have moved to a new home a bit closer to our family's Outfitter store on the northern tip of Anna Maria Island, and we are renting our former home to visitors who are lucky enough to discover Cortez Village! Our Island is world-famous, but how many travelers have discovered our hidden gem of Cortez? (Psst...villa guests will be VIP's at our shop, Anna Maria Island Outfitters Coastal Gear & Apparel ...paddleboard or kayak, anyone?) Also, we will be close by if you need to contact us during your stay.

The Island is quintessential "Olde Florida," and we can't imagine living anywhere else in the U.S.! Every day in our shop, we meet visitors who are experiencing "our paradise" for the first time. Every single one of them is spending part of their vacation looking for the home they'll rent when they return. Well...look no further!

We love our corner lot, with an "Eden-like" yard of oleanders, coconut palms, Birds of Paradise, banana trees, hibiscus, Jamaican starflowers, and a myriad of other tropical shrubs and trees. The lush beauty of our garden emphasizes the truly tropical lifestyle! As a gated community, Harbour Landings is EXTREMELY quiet and peaceful, tucked away from the hustle & bustle of beach life, yet you can faintly hear the music of the various Island entertainment venues across the water at night! We like to say, "near enough and far enough," it's the best of both worlds!
