Located in the South area of Salt Spring Island, very close to Beddis Beach, this elegant and contemporary ​suite will inspire and nurture you. Its beautiful gardens, pathways, pond, and hideaway sitting areas will delight and soothe your soul.

To add to your zen experience, there's our pyramid, a meditative and magical space tucked away in the garden next to a trickling pond.

Relax in the tranquil surroundings while enjoying the company of local wild deer sometimes resting on the lawn. Take a peaceful walk around the thyme-designed labyrinth and feel your worries slip away. Help yourself to the fresh herbs & vegetables in the garden, and dine out on your private patio or in the gazebo where you can relax in the evening sun.

The verdant veggie​ ​garden​s, lush flower beds,​ ​and​ delicate fruit trees make for a lovely oasis of natural serenity. Just steps away from beautiful Beddis Beach, go for a leisurely swim before heading back to soak in your bath-tub or warm away any ocean chills in the infrared sauna.

The ground-floor suite has one bedroom with a comfortable queen bed, full bathroom, TV, reliable high-speed internet, kitchen, dining area, living room, and nearly 600 sq ft of covered patio and sunny deck overlooking the beautifully landscaped garden with a glimpse of the ocean below.

Some breakfast items are provided in your fridge, along with coffee and tea.

We (David and Charlie), live upstairs with our friendly cat Oliver. While respecting your privacy, we are always available if you have any questions and are happy to chat or show you around.

Distance from Ganges: 7 km. Parking is available on the property.

The local Creekside Rainforest is a wonderful place to explore nature, and with Beddis Beach just down the road, you can also rent paddleboards for some gentle exploration around the bay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. From the moment we arrived, Charlie was warm and welcoming. The accommodations met all of our needs. The view of the garden was calming and beautiful. There are many lovely hiking trails on the island and we were able to visit a number of them during our stay. We highly recommend a visit to Salt Spring. Do yourself a favour and stay at this comfortable and relaxing suite.

Charlie was a very welcoming host, providing a fully stocked kitchen, coffee and breakfast makings from local sources, and very good restaurant recommendations. We really enjoyed the extensive garden, Oliver the house cat, and the general ambiance of the home. We are certainly prepared for a return visit.

What a beautiful tranquil spot. It’s so peaceful and the yard is breathtaking. The unit is perfect for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of day to day life. We made friends with the elder cat and we will miss his daily greetings. We both enjoyed sitting in the garden getting some afternoon sunshine. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend this unit.

Peaceful Garden suite surrounded by Nature

Beautifully well appointed one bedroom suite with views from every room to the peaceful garden complete with birds, bunnies, frogs, deer, meditation labyrinth walk, patios & BBQ access. 15 minute drive to the main Town Ganges. 5 minute walk to Beddis Beach. Great location explore Salt spring Island.

Wonderful, beautiful

We had a wonderful relaxing stay the gardens are amazing. The unit was very comfortable With a well equipped kitchen. Charlie was a wonderful host and we love the cat Oliver and I think he loved us too.

Relaxing Retreat in a gorgeous setting

I can't praise this property enough. The gardens are exquisite and the suite is well equipped. It's an ideal location to explore the island from. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We hope to return soon

Truly a lovely garden suite on Salt Spring Island

My wife and I recently stayed in this suite while visiting Salt Spring Island for a wedding and we loved it. Charlie was very friendly and accommodating, and the location was just fantastic. A close walk to the beach and short drive to Ganges where we found some fantastic shops at the market and had an amazing meal at The Hen and Hound Feast restaurant. We definitely recommend staying with Charlie and David at this lovely garden suite!

Stunning Setting on Salt Spring

Best place to stay on Salt Spring! Charlie and David are welcoming hosts and kind to share their special setting while providing privacy and solitude. The grounds feel like a botanical garden, lush and thoughtfully designed. Waiting for us were breakfast groceries and beautiful garden flowers. Unit is spacious and kitchen is perfect. The location is close to Ruckles Park and Ganges.

Our 4 day stay was exactly what we needed. The place is cozy and comfortable inside and so, so peaceful outside. Hummingbirds, bunnies, a quail family and deer provided entertainment far better than Netflix. The kitchen is well equipped if you choose to fix your own meals, the bed is very comfortable - all in all it's a perfect place to relax and ignore the outside world.If the sky is clear, the view of the stars is amazing.Walking distance to Beddis Beach, a wonderful place to sit and contemplate life, or go ahead and get in the water - if you brought a kayak or paddleboard this is the perfect spot!Charlie and David were wonderful hosts, and any concerns we might have had with the owners staying on-site were unfounded - they were completely unobtrusive and in fact chatting with Charlie on arrival and departure made the experience even better.

Garden serenity

We had a wonderful time at the ground-floor suite overlooking the private garden. While we didn’t see any deer wandering the grounds, it made for a great view. Other than the owner tending to the garden, it felt like our private paradise. Charlie was very attentive to our questions or requests all while giving us privacy. We felt at home. Kitchen was stocked with some breakfast goodies and ample kitchen ware if you wanted to cook. Sauna was relaxing after a long day hiking and exploring the island. We will definitely be back!

Lovely retreat

My husband and I spent a few days in Charlie and David's lovely space. It was just what the Dr. ordered. Charlie was a warm and welcoming host. The grounds are beautifully designed and tended (perfectly suited to help settle a couple of frazzled nervous systems!) Quiet little Beddis Beach and the "enchanted” nature reserve Jarrod’s Grove were an easy stroll away for us, and the lodging was comfortable and perfectly appointed. All of our needs were well anticipated. Thank you Charlie and David, it is clear you have put heart into your lovely property and listing. We hope to be back in the future!

David and I are from England (many years ago) with three grown children who've all flown the nest! Now it's our turn .. time to leave the busy life and city behind. Time to slow down and appreciate the wonderful bounty that Nature has provided us in this beautiful spot on Salt Spring Island.

We are experienced vacation hosts and love connecting with our international and often local guests. It's heartwarming to see their delight when they arrive and feel their peacefulness when they depart.

It was love at first sight - the beautiful garden, the delightful house, the peace and quiet, the beach just a few steps away. What bliss - we had to have it! And now we want to share it with you. Feel free to relax and enjoy this wonderful piece of paradise.

この宿泊施設の特徴

This house is really quite unique - in a luxurious, peaceful, natural, zen kind of way. Not only does it have stunning garden and peekaboo ocean views from the patio, dining and living areas, but it also has a lovely gazebo to lounge in and watch the hummingbirds and deer grazing in the labyrinth below.

And .. there's nothing quite like an invigorating dip in the ocean, returning to a beautifully warm infrared sauna to soothe away your chills after the sun's gone down.

To add to your zen experience, there's a pyramid (not included), a meditative and magical icon tucked away in the garden next to the little pond as well as a beautiful thyme labyrinth, to wander through and calm the mind.

Other unique benefits : Herb, vegetable and flower gardens.

And don't forget Oliver - the friendly resident, but mostly outdoor cat. He's not very keen on visiting cats or dogs - so sorry, pets are not allowed.
