Beautiful home on a 4420 ft. elevation, located in the Eagles Nest subdivision. 2 story cabin, with fascinating views. Enjoy the outdoor hot-tub with picnic tables near by for family gatherings. Covered porch right off the kitchen with a dining table for 6, plus an indoor dining table for four. Black kitchen cabinets and granite counter tops, 85" TV in the loft area.

PLEASE READ BEFORE RESERVING: NO MOTORCYCLES OR SLINGSHOTS ARE ALLOWED IN THIS COMMUNITY.

1st Floor: Living Room, Kitchen, Wood Fireplace, Stainless steel appliance, Dining Room table for 4, Covered porch with dining table for 6, breakfast bar, spacious kitchen, Master King bedroom with full bathroom, garden tub, walk-in shower

2nd Floor: Loft with sitting area & 85" TV, King Bedroom with two twin beds, Full bathroom with garden tub, second bedroom with a queen bed and two twin beds.

Low Season:
$234 nightly - $1,438 weekly.
3 nights minimum stay required.
January through May

High Season:
$290 nightly - $1,830 weekly.
3 nights minimum stay required.

Holidays:

We loved the peaceful setting, and the back exit directly to Waynesville made getting around so convenient. We enjoyed every moment and would definitely stay at Pilot’s Perch again. Highly recommend!

Great house

Took the family to go skiing at Catalloche ski resort. Perfect location to everything you need, but secluded with incredible views. The house was big with everything we needed. Definitely would recommend staying here if you are visiting Maggie Valley or Waynesville.

However the management company left us completely isolated!!! Following the directions given to the cabin we got lost. No one answered the phone. The after hours number was set to reject calls. I even sent an email with ZERO response. Once I put the street name in my map app I was able to find the cabin. I have never experienced anything like this from a rental agency. Thank my Lord in heaven above we didn't have any other issues or we would have been SOL!

Wonderful Stay at Pilots Paradise

The views from Pilots Paradise, and walks around the area were amazing. Pilots Paradise had great amenities like the outdoor hot tub and grill that we really enjoyed. Everything was clean and well-maintained! Even our two little pups enjoyed the cabin and surrounding area that was great for our walks with them. In addition to the wonderful visit, the team at Smoky Mountain Retreat Rental were beyond helpful and friendly in any interaction we had with them. They checked in with us on the weather conditions and made sure we were aware of road conditions. Any needs were taken care of immediately, such as additional salting of a stubborn area of ice on a small section of road after the storm. This was all very comforting to folks like us from Florida. We would highly recommend Pilots Paradise and Smoky Mountain Retreat Rental for a visit you're planning to Maggie Valley, you won't be disappointed!

Everything we need, the mountains, it's just so beautiful. We always come back to this same Eagles Nest and it is a highlight of the year, twice a year. There is so much to do, don't miss Buttered Biscuit and Waynesville's Mass Gen. Fun places. So close to Asheville an Biltmore. Easy access road.

It is beautiful and thoughtfully furnished with everything we needed for a fabulous week in the mountains. The cabin had room for everyone to spread out, a gorgeous view, well-equipped kitchen, and all of us enjoyed the hot tub, grill, and large porch with comfy furniture.

This was by far the best experience we had yet. The cabin was exceptionally clean and had all the amenities you would expect and more. This was a just an awesome vacation and would recommend this company to anyone going to the area.

Summer Break

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this property in 2019 and again this year. We had some issues with it in 2019 especially the satellite reception then. The reception this year was even worse. We got very few stations if any most of the 2 weeks we were there. My wife missed Wimbledon finals, we missed most of the NBA finals and missed most of the British Open. We are not huge TV watchers but having nothing available via satellite was not good. No local weather in mornings to plan the day. Fortunately the Internet connection was pretty good for Wi-fi. To be fair the owner did try to correct the reception problem (could not), arranged for technician to come out, however; they cannot go up on the roof where the dish is located, so nothing was done. Trees and/or branches need to trimmed to facilitate reception or the dish moved to a different location.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pilots Porch was a wonderful place to stay. The pictures on the site don’t do it justice. Well appointed rental. The sunrise was spectacular every morning. The switchbacks were fun. We videoed the trip up to show friends and family. The only thing that needed attention was the grill. It needs to be cleaned before summer guests. We visit Maggie Valley almost every year. My granddaughter enjoyed the playground. We enjoyed the PowWow in Cherokee, Maggie Valley shopping including Cabbage Rose, Maggie Mountain Crafts. The Biltmore in Asheville was wonderful. I would definitely stay in Pilots Porch again.
