It was an amazing stay at this beautiful cabin!! Everything was exactly the way it was advertised! Host was extremely accommodating and kind. Beautiful location with creek running right behind the cabin. Would recommend this place to anyone who wanted to experience the rustic mountain atmosphere!! Roomy inside and out and a hot tub on the deck to finish out your day!!

Hi Becky😊 Thank you for your amazing review of the cabin. You were spot on in your comments as that is exactly the type of response we are trying to achieve with every guest who stays at our cabins! I hope you will come back and visit us again. Take care😊
The cabin was nice. We loved the creek right behind the back deck. Plenty of space in the living room and the kitchen had a coffee pot and filters. The kitchen was nicely stocked and the fridge had ice when we arrived. We recommend Mariolino's Italian restaurant! The salmon was amazing!!!
The setting feels like a fairytale cottage with all the beautiful moss and relaxing sounds of the creek! We really enjoyed the comfort of the cabin, it was clean and accurate to the description!

Hi Victoria. Thank you so much for the great review. So glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay. Your review pretty much says what we felt when we first found these cabins back in 2007! 19 years later we still love going back for R & R and to listen to the creek!
Did not use hot tub. Gas fireplace worked perfectly. The lock box for door key needs work and the written directions to the cabin are not accurate. The cabin very comfortable and welcoming and had everything we needed. Beds very comfortable.
It was a great relaxing trip. There restaurants were all closed. Keep that in mind when you go.

Hey Holly. I am pretty sure that Mariolinos, Monte Alban, Hoppy Trout and Morning Fog were all open the weekend you were visiting. These restaurants are basically the only restaurants that aren't fast food restauarants with menu's of each restaurant located in the 3-ring binder located on the coffee table. Melinda
Very nice quiet and cozy cabin! It was one of, if not the most, quiet and relaxing cabins we have ever stayed in. The cabin is nestled between two hills with a creek that flows right behind the house. We could hear the creek flowing with the windows open which was the most relaxing part, even the dogs were relaxed and happy facing the fire place listening to the peace and quiet with the sound of the creek. It’s like a cabin in the shire

Wow Brandon! Thanks for that awesome review! Really appreciate it and hope all of you come back in the near future.
Great place, great location. Very clean and the host was very easy to communicate with. We enjoyed the cabin and our time there. You may also have a few visiting hunting dogs during your stay. Don’t worry they were very friendly and the owner usually isn’t too far away!

You mean if you want a terrifying l, paranoid of someone watching you stay?! At first we loved the cabin. It was cozy and relaxing however, we found out by the owner that the neighbor was watching us and saying we were building a fire. Which the owner could have given us a heads up that the state was under a fire ban. We put the fire out immediately. Then while my family and I were out in town the owner called again saying the neighbor had been smelled that we still had the fire burning. At that point we had been there for almost three day and felt uncomfortable for my daughters who were in their bathing suits in the hot tub and watching us the whole time. We left early and the cabin was not as advertised

While I understand your concern with our neighbor I'd like to state that our neighbor was not "stalking" your family. In fact, his cabin faces away from this cabin making it extremely difficult for him to see who is at the cabin nor does he care. His only concern was that he could smell a fire burning and see smoke and didnt want the cabins to burn down due to the dry conditions in NC. He immediately contacted me to see if renters were using the outdoor fire pit as there is currently a burn ban in the state of NC which we were unaware of since we live in GA. I promptly contacted you to let you know of this new development. Never did the neighbor personally confront you or set foot on the cabin property during your stay. The next day he contacted me again as he could smell a fire burning nearby. At that time I called you to make sure it wasn't you. Turned out it was another cabin in the area owned by a couple from FL who also did not know about the burn ban. The fine for outdoor burning is $300 if caught which was also a concern of our neighbor. We apologized for your inconvenience and refunded you for 2 nights as per your request.
Great cabin for a relaxing getaway. Everything was great. Enjoyed the hot tub and relaxing by the creek. We spent most of our time in Bryson City but enjoyed the drives thru the gorge and the serenity of the cabin location. We hope to be back again soon. Highly recommend this cabin.
We had a wonderful time at the cabin and the area! The hot tub and campfire were relaxing and fun highlights. We had an issue with getting the gas fireplace lit but our host walked us through a manual start, which worked well. The oven runs a bit hot. The layout and coziness of the cabin was a real delight ! I would certainly stay here again!

Thank you for your wonderful review. I think it might be time to get a new stove:)
We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin. The location was perfect—tucked away, quiet and peaceful, but still close enough to town for anything we needed. The cabin was clean, well-stocked, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend.
Very relaxing stay with fireplace and creek just outside. Hot tub was nice which was private and next to creek. Host responsive. Cabin was in woods and very private despite other. Sabina in the area. Quite with just sound of running creek water.

Pros: Fireplace, hot tub, deck on stream, tranquilityCons: Cleanliness; old, faded linens; SMALL bedrooms; NO closets; no cabinets in kitchen for groceries.
This place was a dream...the cabin had everything we needed, the creek in the back was beautiful, we enjoyed the peaceful place up in the mountains. We are from South Florida, so the mountain air and temperature was just right in the middle of July.
