Welcome to Mountain Laurel Cabin
Relax and unwind in our newly remodeled, cozy mountain cabin, tucked away on 2 private wooded acres with a beautiful acre-size fishing pond. If peace and tranquility are what you’re seeking, you’ve found it. Secluded enough to truly get away from it all, yet just 20 minutes from town, the cabin is perfectly located for both adventure and relaxation.
Enjoy your morning coffee on the fully screened-in porch, listening to birdsong and watching wildlife like deer and native birds wander by. Spend your days exploring the outdoors, fishing for bass or bream from the private dock (catch & release; please bring your own gear), or simply relaxing with a good book. Evenings are perfect for a campfire and s’mores, porch time, or a friendly game of horseshoes or cornhole.
Inside, the cabin is comfortably furnished and thoughtfully equipped with modern conveniences. The open-floor-plan chalet design features floor-to-ceiling windows, filling the space with natural light and forest views. The loft bedroom offers a king bed, blackout curtains and a newly remodeled en-suite bath, while the main-floor bedroom features a queen bed, blackout curtains, with peaceful woodland views. Both bathrooms has been thoughtfully updated with a live-edge countertop, adding a timeless rustic touch inspired by the surrounding mountains. Linens, towels, soaps, and paper goods are provided.
The fully remodeled kitchen includes granite countertops, hickory cabinets, new appliances, and everything you need to prepare anything from a simple breakfast to a gourmet meal. The dining table seats four comfortably. The living room offers cozy seating, a 42” Smart TV, provided YouTube TV, and a gas fireplace. Guests are welcome to log into personal streaming apps—just please remember to sign out before checkout.
One of our guests’ favorite features is the screened-in porch, offering exceptional outdoor living space rain or shine.
