One of the best views of the mountain from anywhere in Mill Valley, what was known as the Meeting House was the first home on the hill above Mill Valley and occupies a commanding viewpoint of the mountain, the valley and the bay. It was so named as a retreat for artists and writers and has been lovingly cared for since that time. Located on what was the Pipeline Trail, and a few hundred feet from the Dipsea Trail, there is direct bike or hiking access to the many trails of Mt Tam. While totally private because of it’s location on a knoll and surrounding mature trees it is only a 5 minute drive to town and a 12 minute stroll down the famous Dipsea Stairs.
