About The Owner

For the last 20 years together with my family I have been running a restaurant. We also specialize in smoked fish and meats. All products are made on premises and are available in our restaurant Villa Tatra as well in all Colorado Whole Foods stores. In the free time we like travel and sport activity.

The Owner purchased this condo in 2007

Why The Owner chose Front Range

We chose Estes Park because of the fantastic location next to National Park and close distance to Denver and airport.

What makes this condo unique

The best benefit of staying in our place is location, location and ... You are in heart of Estes park with all the attraction in walking distance.

Wonderful central location

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay at this condo in Estes. It was clean and roomy for the two of us. The location couldn't be beat. We had major activties in the center of town and never had to do anything but walk. The location above Starbuck's might be a little noisy for some, but we had very little problem. One morning, they were power washing the sidewalk early but that was the only significant noise. The owners are very pleasant and even made special accommodations when we forgot an item. I will definitely remember them if we return to Estes Park.

Very clean and great location.

  • 5 of 5

Owners were very nice. We were very pleased with our stay in EstesPark. Only draw back was no balcony. But loved our home away from home for three nights while we explored the Rocky Mountain National Park. They had a fan and flat screen TV. Overall we were very satisfied. Convenient to have Starbucks right under U.S.!

Fantastic Downtown Condo!

  • 5 of 5

This one-bedroom condo was absolutely perfect for my husband and me during our stay in Estes Park. The entire apartment is newly renovated and lovely, and the the unit is sunny, clean, spacious, charming and very comfortable.

Some have mentioned the street noise, but for us it wasn't a problem, even though we slept with the windows open on the busiest summer weekend of the year. The downtown location made it well worth it--wonderful restaurants & shops are steps away and the shuttle to Estes Park is just a couple of blocks up the street.

The owner is a pleasure to work with--she met us at the condo when we arrived and was warm and welcoming. We hope to stay here again someday soon and highly recommend it.

Not sure how some could rate this 5 stars. Furniture/Furnishing were odd. No balcony chairs, had to drag out dining room chairs. Extremely loud ALL NIGHT!! Deliveries to Starbucks, trash trucks, cars etc. Then there is the early morning Starbucks rush. The bedroom is right above Starbucks. They get rocking at 5AM, not a relaxing vacation at all. I must say the owners are very nice, unfortunate for them that the location is TERRIBLE!!

Eh…depends on what you're looking for

  • 3 of 5

Except for the good location (walking distance to stores/hiker shuttle/lake) I couldn't find many positives to this condo and wouldn't stay here again. The condo has been upgraded which is great, but there are some bizarre amenities that don't allow for much privacy. The condo does not have any air conditioning. Perhaps this is common in this part of CO but we had nights where the temperature didn’t get below 80 outside so it was boiling inside the condo. Even with the ceiling fans, we couldn’t cool down the place. The worst part is, you can’t open the windows at night because the street is so busy/loud. If the owner would provide a couple of box fans, that would help cool the place off on hot summer nights and would also drown out the street noise. We’ve rented many condos/houses for vacations before and there is plenty this owner can do to make it more friendly for all visitors. The TV is outdated (no HD, flatscreen) and small (<27 inches). If someone is sleeping in the bedroom the TV in the living room is completely useless since it is right next to the big opening in the wall above the bedroom door which itself not solid (opaque glass) so the sound and light is problematic. Strangely enough, the condo does have washer/dryer hook-ups but no washer/dryer so if you plan on staying for any length of time or hike, you'll have to find a laundromat. The owner informed us that the place would be fine with our one kiddo traveling with us and while it’s big enough for the three of us, sleeping has been a nightmare. Queen size bed (we knew about that) with a futon in the living room that turns into a double bed. But if you have to sleep in the living room on the futon, the curtains are little wisps of fabric so good luck sleeping past 6 a.m. on vacation as light pours into that room. In the bedroom, the owner needs to add darkening curtains. We had to rig a blanket over the existing curtain rod to help minimize light. Parking is a minor hassle if you are used to private parking, but we always found a spot in the lot across the street.Bottom line: If you’re a young couple & plan on enjoying the Estes Park night scene, want ez access to restaurants, shopping & the RMNP, this is the place for you as long as you can tolerate the very noisy and busy street outside your window. If you have kids or simply want to get away from it all and want quiet, serene Estes Park, look elsewhere.
