House, 1 Bedroom, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-3)
After retiring from a 33 year career in sales management/ marketing, we visited our oldest daughter Etta and fell in love with Asheville. We moved to the Asheville Area in 2002 and lived in the house that became our first rental, “Our House.” (We built a cabin on the property and moved into it). Soon to follow, came our youngest daughter, Farris, and her now husband Danny. In 2009 their daughter Alyssa arrived and in 2015 Haley was born, making this a true family business.
Owner/Manager purchased this House in 2002
Why Owner/Manager chose Fairview
We fell in love with Asheville and all it has to offer. We then decided to share the beauty of the Asheville Area and the hospitality of the Smokey Mountains with others. “Our House” and “My Roundette” were on the property when we originally bought it. Both have since been remodeled. We then purchased additional land and built “My Place,” “The Huntley,” and “The Garden Cabin.” “Log Gap” and “Prayer Ridge” were both bought at separate, more remote locations. Both were extensively remodeled.
What makes this House unique
The benefit of staying at “The Cove at Fairview” is the unique experience. Each home offers you a different experience in small ways – outdoor fireplaces, swinging beds, and a fifty mile view are just a few. Also, enjoy waterfalls, Koi Ponds, a Lotus Pond, horses, chickens (enjoy fresh eggs), donkeys, goats, native plants, & flower gardens. By staying here, you are nestled into all of the beautiful natural settings in this peaceful cove. While being very private and close to nature, you are still afforded all of the conveniences of technology and are located near all this area has to offer. Truly a place to come and renew yourself. Kick back, relax, and have a true retreat or a wonderful place to land after an exhausting day of fun (downtown is only 15 minutes away).
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
Well managed, clean property with extra touches to make the stay perfect. Fresh bread was waiting upon our arrival. The house was very neat and well appointed. The area where the animals roam was adjacent to our back porch. Made for a very pleasant morning coffee experience on the porch. We will return
We enjoyed our stay . Can't wait till our next visit.
Perfect getaway in the mountains
Renting this Property was wonderful. The owner worked with me and allowed us to book just one night even though they had a 2 night min stay. The grounds were immaculate, and we loved the farm animals they have on the property. The fresh eggs from their chickens and the fresh bread that was cooking in the oven for us when we got there were awesome. The hot tub was a very nice touch and they may just have the worlds comfiest bed. Also it’s not too far from Asheville. All in all 5 out of 5 stars and we are excited for when we can stay again!
Great last minute getaway
We had a wonderful time on our 10 year anniversary getaway, we found a hidden gem we will surely visit again and again. We can’t wait to check out the other great cabins on the property and are already making plans to enjoy with friends and family.
Well-rounded stay :)
Beautiful farm property, loved all the amenities such as the hammocks overlooking the mountains, the various fish and frog ponds, farm animals and private hot tub. The house was clean and exactly as advertised. Plan on returning some day.
Nettie’s weekend getaway
Great location- 15 minutes to downtown Asheville. Location has a small farm where you can feed the horses, ponies, and goats. Enjoyed the fresh eggs and homemade bread supplied by the owner.
Enjoyed relaxing at the end of the day in the Hot-tub. The owner did a nice job making recommendations for activities and restaurants.
We would stay again.
