70 steps to the BEACH! Three block walk to Belmont Park and local dining and attractions. Newly remodeled (May 2023) with a wonderful open design, perfect for enjoying with the whole family! Four bedrooms are as follows: TWO KING bedrooms and TWO bunk rooms. Great for sharing!

Located on the beach side of Dover Court in South Mission, just south of Belmont Park and the Giant Dipper Roller Coaster. Part of a two-unit home, this property is the whole upper-level, located above a separate two-bedroom beach cottage.

TWO OUTDOOR AREAS: ONE BALCONY DECK OFF THE LIVING ROOM WITH A WHITE WATER VIEW AND ONE ROOFTOP DECK WITH AN OCEAN VIEW! Note that this property does not share the ground-level patio, and instead has a balcony as well as a private rooftop deck. Spend your mornings and evenings on the rooftop complete with BBQ, sitting area, and ocean view! Enjoy grilling and dining while just steps away from the deep blue sea, the boardwalk, sandy beach, and surf. The location is ideal, making this property convenient to beach activities and all the other sights you don’t want to miss while in San Diego! Check the map to see for yourself!

Two king bedrooms, two kid bedrooms, as well as two sofa sleepers. Plenty of sleeping space to choose from.

* We love our furry family, but please leave your pets at home. We have a strict no pet-policy to keep our homes clean and allergy-free for all guests!

* Markets and restaurants are all within a 2 to 3-block walk.

* Lots of bike, kayak, surfboard, and sailboat rentals all nearby.

* Plenty of boogie boards and sand toys available at the property for guest use.

* We have a guest laundry room with multiple washers and dryers that will help you pack lightly. Don’t forget your beach towels!

* Garage parking! Private reserved two-car garage that barely fits a large SUV with big garage door open, but we advise to bring/rent an average or smaller car at the beach, if you can!

Host is amazing! She bends over back to accommodate all her guests. Seriously best host ever! We met the cleaning crew since Sharon (host) was trying to let us check in early. The crew was SOOOO nice! The place was very clean. Location is perfect. The only negative would be the bathrooms could be a little more updated and maybe some fresh paint. Nothing major the pros are far more than cons. I would absolutely rent here again!

The host worked quickly to remedy an initially rough start, but after that, everything was great. I was impressed by all the kitchen supplies, including a blender and waffle iron! Plenty of plates, utensils, and cookware for our large group. Plenty of linens, and 2 washers/driers available to use. Top deck with a grill was a good space, especially when the weather cooperated. The walk to the beach was fast and easy, and the walk to local eateries was easy as well. Good sized grocery store was a short drive.

Great location! But, if you are a picky about beds/ mattresses, etc. squeaking soft mattresses are less than ideal. Broken door lock on garage, etc. worn out screen and shower doors. In short, perfect location, lots of restaurants and activities for kids, just in need of a few upgrades and maintenance needed to justify the price.

Family get-away

Booked for a quick getaway for the family. Place was stocked and was pretty much the standard for the area. We've stayed in 10 or so short term rentals along the southern CA coast, we enjoyed this one as much as any of the others.

The location of the house was amazing! Check in was easy. It was a bit tricky finding the house with the narrow neighborhoods but Sharon was available to help navigate to it. The space was open and can accommodate 6-8 people. They even have a rooftop terrace to hangout and enjoy the sunset. Beach is only a few steps away. The only negative was the cleanliness. We did find hair strands on some of the nightstands and mold in the showers.
