Enjoy your stay at our boutique guesthouse in Southwest Michigan. The Hatch Street Manor, which sits on 3 acres, is well appointed for a perfect getaway! We are located just 80 miles (2 hours) from Chicago, 35 miles to Notre Dame, 35 miles to Kalamazoo, and a short drive to all that Dowagiac, our lakes, and surrounding areas have to offer! The house is a split level, with 5 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a gourmet chef's kitchen, tons of space indoors and outdoors, AND MORE!

On the main level, there is a living room, larger kitchen with 15 ft island -- perfect for entertaining and groups, and a master suite -- with king sized bed! The lower level has a family room, HUGE spa-like bathroom (wait until you see the shower!), (1) bedroom with king bed, (2) bedrooms with a queen bed, (1) twin / full bunk. The outdoor space is purely magical --- a 45 ft, wrap-around deck, with steps leading to the backyard, a fire-pit and more! Looking to host an event or micro-wedding --- we can do that too! We look forward to hosting you!

Family getaway

Property was better than described. Almost everything we needed was already there including board games. Sits off by itself so there’s privacy while outside enjoying family. Couldn’t have been better.

A beautiful private vacation home!

We had an amazing time with our family at this beautiful home! Gorgeous inside and out with so many spaces to enjoy. The deck and yard are private and serene... the indoor space is lovely with an amazing and incredibly stocked cook’s kitchen with giant butcher block island. We loved the interior spaces and it was obvious that this house was planned, designed and decorated with love. Desmond is a thoughtful and responsive host - flexible with check in and out, sending lots of Dowagiac recommendations, checking in with us regularly and leaving sweet treats at our arrival. Highly recommend The Hatch Manor!!
