Our home is right on Wells beach. Wake up every morning with a 180 degree panoramic ocean view from your deck, patio and picture window living room. This home is the ultimate in beach convenience. Wake up to sunrises over the ocean and enjoy family fun on the deck as you watch the sun set. Both upstairs bedrooms have windows directly facing the beach, Wake up to an ocean sunrise right outside your window. A Well stocked kitchen with all the utensils allows for eating in and the central location of this home allows for quick access to all the great local restaurants. Wells is getting more and more popular each summer. The number of homes that offer this degree of beach access and ocean views is shrinking every year (as owners convert rental homes to private homes). Treat yourself to the ultimate Wells beach experience - Stay right on the beach!! Within our recently updated circa 1924 home, this 2 bedroom unit is adjoined by a 3 bedroom unit (VRBO #2278234) on the opposite side of the home. If you are looking to vacation with family/friends this setup provides for both close proximity and privacy. You only live once, why not treat yourself to one of the best locations Wells Beach has to offer! Enjoy the panoramic ocean sunrise with your coffee!! (All stays contingent on receipt of signed rental agreement)

Please close all windows on departure. Storms form quickly and can flood the house if no one is present to close the windows
All trash in bags. Trash collectors will not take anything not in a bag. No recycling in Wells. Please take recycle items home or place in bags with other trash
Please alert us to anything needing attention in unit: clogged sink, burned out light bulb, broken coffee maker etc
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Location was incredible, right out the door and down steps to the sand! So much beach when tide is out, kids loved riding their bikes on it, and walking down wells beach to the jetty. Beautiful wrap around porch to sit out on at night and a patio area, too. Beds were comfy and space was just right for our family of 4 (2 adults 2 kids -6&4). Will look to stay here again for sure. Thank you!

This little beach house was perfect for a small family get-a-way. The house was very clean, had all the amenities we needed, and had the breathtaking views it promised. The sunrises off the porch were amazing. Step off the porch into the sand. As a family we walked the beach looking for shells and seaglass. So close to restaurants and other activities but still felt like a relaxing beach vacation. Host communicated very well. Thank you David for sharing this lovely beach home.

The beach house was one of the best ones we’ve ever been to and we’ve been to many over the years. Would totally recommend this. You’re literally sitting right on the beach. The owners kept in touch with any questions that we had. I would highly suggest this to anybody looking for a beautiful getaway in Maine.

This place was great for what three old girlfriends needed for some R&R. My friends are a little out of shape, so the stairs leading to the two bedrooms were a little tough. They are a wee bit narrow and steep for overweight folks but doable. All in all the place was amazing and super clean, well stocked, and reasonably priced (it was off season too). The host was very accommodating and answered questions right away. Definitely booking again for next year!

If you want a quaint, safe, comfortable and beautiful place to stay right on the beach this is the house to rent. Thanks to a very attentive host I had a great, relaxing weekend in Maine at this beautiful property, close to quaint towns and right on the water. Would love to stay here again.

My family and I have been vacationing at Wells Beach for the last 15-20 years. We do enjoy the family atmosphere at this beach. Before purchasing 131 Atlantic, we stayed at all the motels and hotels along Rte 1. The daily vacation drama of will we find a parking spot by the beach and packing up the car and being careful not to forget anything as we'd have to drive back to get it - (and risk losing our parking spot) was not really fun. We started staying right by the beach and our stress levels decreased dramatically. Everything about Wells in the summer is fun (see Congdon's Doughnuts, Billy's Chowder House, Mikes Clam Shack, The Steak House and even Dairy Queen). We take a lot of pride in our home and constantly look to upgrade.

Why they chose this property

If you want the positively best Wells Beach experience, then stay right on the beach. This home is the ultimate in convenience and experience. You can watch the tide come in and go out from the deck or living room. Watching the sunrise and sunset over the ocean from your comfortable chair on your deck is absolutely therapeutic. This home is also strategically located between Public Way #2 and Public Way #3. The distance from both can decrease the potential for crowds that is sometimes seen right at the exit of a Public Way. The location of this home is absolutely amazing.
