Set among spectacular peaks in an amazing landscape, Crested Butte offers outstanding recreation, cultural and wildlife activities at every level, from mountain biking to back country skiing, to music festivals, to wildflower viewing, to fine dining, hunting and fishing!
Walk to coffee at Camp 4, Izzy's or Blue Moon Books, circle back over the Totem Pole Park bridge to walk the dog down the block to the Woods Walk or Lower Loop trails. Taking the ski shuttle is an easy 2 block walk to Elk and Second Street. Just two blocks to bars and restaurants on Elk, walk to and from dinner at the Timberline, or dancing at the Eldo!
The location was great - very close to the bus stop and the buses come at least every 15 minutes and drop off at the ski area. the accommodations were good, although the master bed was not very big. The heating worked well - the gas stove is a very nice feature. The biggest issue we had was with no cable TV. We would definitely stay here again if that got resolved. The house was the right size for our family of 5.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was conveniently located to Historic downtown for eating and shopping as well as walking trails. There was ample parking for our suburban and trailer of riding toys. Very comfortable home containing everything you might need! We had some small plumbing issues, but communication and response was excellent. We will return for more fun!
Neal's townhome is located just a couple blocks from Crested Butte's downtown. Nice 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, fully equipped kitchen, with everything we needed to relax for the week. We walked to Main street a couple times a day for coffee at Camp 4, shopped, checked out all of the art galleries, dined at a few of the restaurants and we made several meals at the place too. Perfect location to snuggle into or head out for an adventure. We drove to Gothic city and then drove a few miles beyond to hike in the beautiful mountains, took walks at Lower and Upper Loop, checked out the village. It was such a relaxing retreat that we enjoyed cups of tea, wine, eats and a good book as time slowed down for us and reset us to nature in a beautiful and comfortable setting.
We loved this condo and would rent it again in a heartbeat! It had every amenity that we needed and was such comfortable, livable space. Lots of light, spacious, and only a few blocks from Crested Butte's charming downtown area. We loved our stay and wish it could have been longer!
We had a great stay at this house. The location is ideal. The condo is well equipped and located in a quiet residential neighborhood. It is a quick three minute walk to Elk Street, where all of the restaurants and shops are. We would recommend this place to anyone looking to visit Crested Butte.
Four of us spent three nights at this condo. We were met by Sharon who was very friendly and responsive to our needs. We loved the central location in town close to all the good restaurants and activities. The condo was spacious, well equipped, comfortable and clean. Although it could use a little updating here and there, we had no complaints and would go back. We made a point to go back to Slogar where we had eaten once before and had nice meals at Le Bosquet and Donitas. One of the highlights of the trip was visiting the old ghost town of Gothic and getting a tour of the RMBL facility which was fascinating, as well as a wildflower identification walk during the Wildflower festival.
