Kay and her guests left the house in decent order. We did have two shades that need to be replaced but the insurance through Vrbo will take care of it. I’m sure she started the laundry of towels, which was helpful always responded quickly or notified Me if anything was in question

We had a 9 day stay and the place was perfect. Everything was 15-20 minutes away and the atmosphere was awesome.

Had a wonderful stay, the property was perfect for us and our dogs. Communication with the host was great, check in and out was easy, and everything was exactly as pictured. I would definitely stay here again.

They were wonderful guests to have in the home, leaving things as they were upon arrival. They even took the time to strip all the beds, communicating well, when need be, overall I’d rent to them again.

Mark and guests treated the home with great respect and left it the way they found it. Followed house rules and communicated with me well. I would have them back anytime Whimsical Wonder could allow for them to stay.

Family Vacation

The listing and pictures are very accurate. The location was easy to find and the home was very clean and provided everything we needed! The host made sure to communicate with us everything in a timely manner, and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and nearby sights.

Absolutely Perfect!!!

Debora was so sweet, she communicated with us to welcome us, to see if we needed anything, gave us a list of things to see and do, etc. Debora was an exceptional host. I'm greatful she shared her home with us, it made are stay in Colorado feel like home. The home met all of our needs, was very spacious, very clean and had all the amenities one would need. The two car garage was definitely a welcomed plus. The home was easy access and close to groceries, gas, the sites, restaurants, etc. I would definitely recommend staying at this home and having Debora as your host.

Lovely comfortable location

Great location within a half hour of numerous attractions, museums, etc. The house is comfortable but older. It is being renovated as there is time, so there may be a few quirks, but we appreciated the stash of spices, first aid kit, etc that are not always found in rental houses. The back porch has a lovely view of the mountains. Owner is a wealth of information on area sites and ways to save money—she is a great resource! Our family enjoyed our stay in Colorado.

Perfect place to call home

We loved our stay at Debbie's home. It had everything we needed and was so spacious for all of us to enjoy our time in Colorado Springs. The quiet neighborhood and beautiful views were so nice at the end of a busy day and enjoying a cup of coffee on the deck in the morning. It was especially handy having access tp laundry since the weather turned out being much warmer than we packed for. Don't hesitate to book thia house! Debbie was so kind and very responsive. We had some issues with my phone and getting messages sent but it did not hinder our experience

Whole house - Spotless - Pikes Peak view

The house worked perfectly for us. The location is excellent. In a quiet, safe neighborhood, and not on a busy street. It's a short drive to wherever you wish to go. Very convenient. We really appreciated that we had the whole house plus a two car garage to ourselves. No one else staying above or below. Very private. Plus it hailed a couple of times while we were there, so the indoor parking was appreciated! The back deck was our favorite place! We loved having our morning coffee there, enjoying the mountain view. There is a creek with a walking path beside it, that borders the back of the property which you can access through the gate. The property/decor/furniture was as pictured. Beds were comfortable. The whole house was very clean. Owner was a great communicator and very willing to help with whatever we needed.

We love to explore the beauty of our CO play ground; Rockhound, Kayak, Hike, Geocache, listen to the music that is offered at the parks (summer time) and Star Gazers Theater (yr round on Weekends), visit the many museums (We liken it to a sm. Smithsonian/Denver museum of Nature and Science,) and State and Nat. parks in the area. Driving around to just sight see is a wonderful thing for both the fit and the unfit.

The back deck is up high enough that there are Mt views while you dine. There is a fire-pit for your enjoyment. There is access to the walking trail from the back yard. It is centrally located to access everything easily/quickly.

You are not only centrally located with in CO Springs but also within an hours drive to many other FREE or low cost sites; The Paint Mines/Calhan CO FREE, Paradise Cove $6 Florescent CO, Royal Gorge rim walk FREE/Turn left (before entrance to tour trap) then go 1/2 mile. Cheyenne Canyon (Cutler's trail and seven bridges) is a local favorite. Red rock open space has multiple trails and an off-leash dog park. One of the countries top dog parks w/separate Sm/Lg dog area, located side by side, is located off of 21st St/Lower Gold Camp Rd. Our Cheyenne Mt Zoo is also ranked one of the nations best.
