Surrounded by the Great Smoky Mountains and nestled on the banks of the Tuckaseigee River, Laurel Bush is naturally suited for recreation and adventures. Within a 50 mile radius there are many miles of hiking/biking trails (including the Appalachain Trail), whitewater rafting/canoeing/kayaking/tubing, waterfalls, swimming, fishing, the Cherokee Indian Reservation, Great Smoky Mountain Railway, Harrah’s Cherokee Casino and Hotel, Gatlinburg, TN, The Biltmore Estate, Cataloochee Ski area and much, much more. Western North Carolina has activities for everyone! Every season is a beautiful time here in the mountains.

Whether you want to relax or play and escape into nature, Laurel Bush is the spirit of what every vacation should be. Tucked away in Tucked Away
We greatly enjoyed our stay at Tucked Away. It was in the perfect location for us. Enjoyed our view of the river and peacefulness or our surroundings. For a campground, it was really quiet and peaceful. We liked watching the folks rafting and tubing down the river. So much, that we had to go rafting down it too. The place was clean and spacious enough for us and one son who came to stay one night. Everything we needed was there. There was a grill outside. Two rocking chairs on the porch were a big plus for us. Communications with management was great. No issues checking in or out. Look forward to staying there again!
