Welcome to your hideaway on the wild Sonoma Coast: Your ideal headquarters for coastal adventures: hiking, biking, long walks on the beach, horseback riding, boating, whale watching and more!

Perfect for just the two of you or a quiet solo venture, this tiny, but mighty, studio has everything you need for a great getaway on the legendary Sonoma Coast.

The park is right outside your door (stairway provided), while Bodega Dunes Beach is a magical five-minute walk through the park.
The space
This cozy studio has everything you need to enjoy your stay:
Work space desk
Kitchenette with full size refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker
Spacious deck with ocean view, lounge chairs, grill and dining table
Free WiFi
The king size bed sits high off the floor to view the park.

This property is NOT suitable for:
-- children 2-12
-- the mobility impaired
-- shy folks. The shower, toilet and living area are all in the same room like a shipboard cabin or a studio
-- people who do not like nature. The property sits right on the park. There are animals and birds and insects in the park.

The family dog (20 lbs max) is welcome. Aggressive breeds are not allowed due to liability concerns.
Please do not leave your dog unattended inside or outside.

When you arrive, please park in your designated flagstone parking space to the far left as you face the house. The studio is down the flagstone path in front of you as you park. The gated entrance to Dorothy's Room is to your right. The key will be under the welcome mat.
Other things to note:
Please note there are other units on the property that may be occupied during your stay. If you have a larger group you may want to rent the downstairs 2br/2ba. The property is designed to give maximum privacy to guests.

The studio was very cozy and comfortable. Although small, all the needed amenities were provided, the private deck provided a glimpse of the ocean and close enough to hear the waves. It provided just what I needed. The property manager was friendly and very helpful.

Tiny but so well appointed

The room was perfect for us to oldsters, glad I didn't bring the little dog though because dogs are frowned upon on most beaches in Sonoma county. You can cook most anything you want with what they have available here, but there are great eateries around Bodega Bay. Super clean, well organized... I loved it

Exquisite Access to Bodega Dunes - Unpleasant Host

The "huge backyard" = Bodega Dunes with a peak at the ocean. The room is exactly as presented - 150 sq. ft. of functional space. The shower is funky with black mold covered by clear tape undoubtedly contributing to poor air quality. If you are a sound sleeper, noise from the owner walking on ceiling may wake you. Since I have allergies to mold and am a light sleeper the accommodations did not work for me. Conversation with the owner about these issues went really poorly. Further she suggested that I not deal with VRBO but rather trust her to refund monies in a couple weeks after she was paid by VRBO. Sadly, what could have been an understanding professional interaction devolved into something quite unpleasant.
