I hosted a group of eight for my 59th birthday party in August. The accommodations were impeccable. The basement alone could be rented out as a separate unit. The beds were amazingly comfortable. The layout was wonderful. We used every part of the amenities. Hot tub was hot, gardens were beautiful, screened in porch was peaceful, and the deck areas hosted many fun dance parties! My group was actually thinking about renting this house again on an annual basis! Maybe the most important factor was how quiet it was and house surrounded by trees in forest it was. No close neighbors, except for a rooster!
The house was beautiful and well appointed. The owner was very accommodating and prompt to respond to all questions. Fantanstic experience and great vacation.
House was in good condition and matched the listing.

Great place to stay. Very quiet. Very clean. My family enjoyed our stay and we thought it was a great entertainment house. They were very flexible and had great communication.
Thank you so much for your kind words! We're glad you found the space very clean—our team works hard to keep everything spotless for our guests. Hope to host you again soon!
The house was clean, extremely easy check in. Nice touch leaving a bottle of wine and coffee and chocolate candy for us. We would recommend this house!
We had a wonderful stay and hated to leave! The house has a great layout for everyone with a separate living area downstairs. Our family played pool, enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit was so relaxing at the end of the day. We rented a boat which was great to keep it at the dock! We can’t wait to come back, we miss lake life already!

We had a wonderful stay here plenty of space the kitchen was well stocked for the Thanksgiving festivities. The only problem we had was low water pressure in the showers.

Walter, thank you for your stay! And thank yuo for bringing the lower than desired water pressure to my attention - we were able to find the issue and fix it. Thank you again.
Stayed for WWBA. It was roughly an hour to each park we played at but that was fine with us. House was nice, clean, 5 minute drive to town for groceries, gas...etc. Short walk to dock for swimming or if you bring/rent a boat. Host was very responsive. All around great experience!

Coy, thank you for your stay and for your kind words! Appreciate you!
The house was as described. There is a second kitchen on the bottom floor which was nice when we had multiple people cooking. The house was clean and plenty of room for our group of 6. The lake was quiet and calm in this part of the lake. Thanks for letting us use your home.
The house was beautiful. We had a fabulous time. The only thing that caught us off guard was the walk to the dock. My parents came to visit for the day and were unable to walk to the dock due to the terrain. It is steep and muddy (due to the rain we had the previous night). The setup of the house is wonderful, everyone had their own area. Comfy beds, quiet area for good sleep. The dock was wonderful.

Thanks so much for your kind words! We're thrilled to hear you had a fabulous time and enjoyed the comfort and layout of the house. It's great to know the quiet setting and dock added to your stay.
We appreciate your feedback about the walk to the dock. While many guests find it manageable, we understand that recent rain can make the terrain more challenging, especially for visitors with mobility concerns. We’ll continue to highlight this in our listing and always encourage guests to reach out with questions so we can help ensure the property is a good fit.
Thanks again for staying with us—we’d love to welcome you back anytime!
The house was clean and spacious. Check in was super easy. Had one small issue that the owner took care of immediately. Our favorite part was the private dock! Our teenagers had a BLAST!!! Definitely would recommend if you’re looking to not spend too much money outside of the house, we were there for a week and spent 2 1/2 days at the water!

Tori, thank you so much for being great guests! Come back anytime!
We stayed for just two nights the first weekend of December. The home is a really nice getaway. The location feels remote but was just minutes from groceries, etc. The enormous windows in the main room look out over Lake Lanier and an amazing elevated deck, making a light and bright space to relax and be together. The kitchen was very well appointed with sharp knives, nice pans, spices and even olive oil. Nice art throughout, comfy beds and linens, and the place was spotless. The walk down to the dock made for a fun adventure. The host kept in touch and even left a welcome basket for us. We would definitely recommend and may stay again.

Kael, thank you so much for your kind words! Come back anytime!
Very nice property. Not the fault of VRBO or our property manager but we experienced no electricity on Saturday from approx. 6:00 pm until Sunday 9:00 a.m. Also had no internet, TV etc access from Saturday 6:00 p.m. right through checkout on Monday. Anya was excellent in dealing with the situation cause by a severe storm on Saturday.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication
Disliked: Listing accuracy
Overall, the house was beautiful, clean, and accommodating to our needs. The exterior however, had an abundance of spiderwebs, which we had to clear out around the home, porches, as well as the dock. The only negative, and this is a big one, is the understated walk to the water described in the listing. We were expecting a walk to the water the distance itself was not altogether concerning however the slope of the “hike” is in my opinion extreme. If there was any amount of water or debris on the path, then it was also dangerous. I was worried about someone twisting an ankle the whole time. The adults are in our 40s and also we had teenagers and all agreed that this hike to the dock was a serious hindrance in our ability to enjoy the water. It meant we weren’t able to take things that we wanted to to and from the water as easily, and therefore caused us to spend less time at the dock, simply due to the extensive slope and hike. If you’re young and fit, it’s doable, but I would not recommend this property for anyone out of shape or with small children, and certainly not elderly. I just think there should be more transparency about this in the listing, that way people can make the decision themselves whether they can handle it or not.

Thank you for your thoughtful review. We're so glad to hear that you found the home beautiful, clean, and accommodating—it’s always our goal to provide a comfortable and welcoming space.
We appreciate your feedback about the spiderwebs. Our team does a thorough cleaning of the exterior the day before each guest arrives, but being in a natural lakeside setting, spiderwebs can reappear quickly—sometimes overnight. We understand this can be frustrating and will continue doing our best to stay ahead of it while preserving the charm of the environment.
As for the walk to the dock, we hear your concerns and appreciate your perspective. While many guests find the path manageable, we understand that terrain can feel different depending on individual needs and expectations. We'll revisit our listing description to ensure it gives a clearer picture so guests can make informed decisions.
Thank you again for staying with us and for sharing your experience—it helps us improve and continue offering memorable stays.
