Mid-Century Modern Wine Country

Esta casa moderna hermosa mediados de siglo se sienta en el banco de Rutherford en el centro del valle de Napa. Situado en 2. 5 hectáreas, (de los cuales 1. 1 acres son un maduro viñedo Cabernet Sauvignon) y con vistas al valle y el monte Santa Helena, este es un lugar de paz y belleza perfecto para la pareja en busca de un refugio, una familia joven en busca de diversión y la libertad o un grupo de amigos que quieran disfrutar de la compañía del otro.

Este 2800 + sq. Ft. Casa tiene techos abovedados con ventanas gigantes que dan a un jardín con árboles centenarios, viñedos y flora resortes bodega. El salón tiene una gran chimenea de ardor / gas de leña para las acogedoras días y noches de otoño e invierno. Hay 3 preciosas habitaciones cada una con baño privado, recientemente renovadas.

Para aquellos que les gusta cocinar hay cocina un fabuloso nuevo chef Poggenpohl con un refrigerador Sub Zero y una gama profesional Thermador 42 pulgadas. La cocina también tiene una gran isla con capacidad para 6 y un sofá grande y cómodo que se puede convertir en una cama king-size para los huéspedes adicionales si las habitaciones no son suficientes.



Al salir de la 8 pies. puertas corredizas de vidrio del comedor o la sala de estar le traerá al jardín. Experience the Napa Valley Lifestyle like a LOCAL

I cannot say enough great things about our stay! It was everything we had hope for and then some. The house and outdoor living space was great with all you could hope for plus the beauty of being surrounded by vineyards. The homeowners were gracious and had the home stocked and perfect for us including every flavor of nespresso! The kitchen was truly “professional” and stocked with every possible item one could need. The pool/hot tub/outdoor space was something extra special! I would highly recommend this property and hope to stay again next year. It truly was a home away from home!

Great Location

Property is in an excellent location. The outside areas were great - easy for entertainment and hosting big families. We enjoyed walking through the neighborhood and vineyards. People in the area were very friendly.

Great location

Michela and Tom were great hosts and very responsive. We had concerns about the pool gate with bringing our two little boys and they were incredibly accommodating. The kitchen was fabulous. We enjoyed cooking every night and using high quality cookware, which is uncommon for a lot of rentals. Thank you so much for a memorable trip!

Incredible property

This property is in the best location on the Valley floor. It is close to many of the very good vineyards. It is classic mid century in the very best way. Lots of glass, and well considered floor plan. Tasteful, secluded and quiet. The facilities are excellent. Very well equipped kitchen. Spectacular pool and hot tub.Several other outdoor areas separate from the pool. Well maintained and comfortable. Property owner was highly responsive. We were very pleased with it and will return again.

Delightful Stay in

This property was everything and more we had hoped for. Beautiful vineyards surrounding the property, everything one could need in a gourmet kitchen (including a Nespresso!), and enough room for everyone to be as close or as far away as one might want. Kitchen is a wonderful gathering spot and the pool area was delightful. Hot tub was the highlight of each evening. Home and surrounding area is just as pictured or better. Gorgeous time of year to visit the Napa Valley! Only problem...we didn't have enough time to explore the area as much as we would have liked...NEXT TIME!!! Thank you for sharing this beautiful property.

Perfect wine country getaway! Terrific for romantic couples, families with children, ladies weekends

I have stayed at this property a number of times and completely love it. It is absolutely gorgeous and well-maintained inside and out and I cannot recommend it highly enough, I only wish I could give it 10 stars! I find myself coming back here again and again, as other houses in the area simply don't compare. Many of my friends have stayed here on my recommendation, and all have been so excited about their visits here and it has exceeded their expectations as well. The owners are helpful, accommodating, friendly, and easy to work with. The house is newly-renovated with a beautiful new kitchen and redone bathrooms with custom Italian tiles. The home features large, expansive windows that look out to the grounds and the vineyards. The living room is well-decorated with a cozy fireplace. We never watch TV while we are there, but there are a couple of flat-screen TVs available. The grounds are immaculately landscaped with many areas of interest which makes it perfect for entertaining. Imagine waking up to the mist rising over the vineyards and having coffee on your private sitting area off of the master bedroom - complete with fire pit! Long lunches, BBQs, cocktail hour and dining with family and friends are perfect under the pergola. The hot tub and swimming pool area is completely fenced, so safe for families with small children, and faces the vineyards for a private, secluded retreat. The miniature wood house, tree house, bocce ball court etc. make this an extremely family-friendly environment that my two-year-old loves. I have booked this house for romantic,serene getaway weekends for two, family weekends with other friends with young children, and also for a shower weekend with girlfriends. It is completely versatile! It would be an ideal place to rent as a "base camp" while attending a family wedding in the wine country, and also for a honeymoon spot. It is just around the corner from Dean and DeLuca, and a short distance from the town of St. Helena, definitely walkable. If you are active, you can walk out the front door and ride your bicycles, take a run or walk through the vineyards. You will be in the heart of the wine country, with many attractions, restaurants, activities, but why would you ever want to leave this house! One tip - book as early as possible.

Wine Country Heaven - Idyllic setting, stylish property, superb amenities, countless memories!

I’ve stayed at this property multiple times, most recently with a group of friends over New Years. It’s the kind of place you want to keep coming back to. My wife and I got married and had our honeymoon here several years ago. It was the perfect setting--ceremony under the pergola, cocktails by the pool, dinner and dancing outside on the beautifully landscaped lawn—and a wonderful celebration for all of our friends and family. We are huge fans of mid-century modern design and architecture and this house is a prime example. The house feels light and airy, with large glass windows, and the flow between indoor and outdoor spaces is just right. The kitchen and bathrooms were recently renovated and are spectacular. The kitchen is a great hub for entertaining groups of friends. The grounds are beautiful, immaculately groomed, and surrounded by vineyards. One of the things we love are the many different nooks or areas where you can have good conversation, drink wine, play shuffleboard, read a book, or whatever you like! It is a private, quiet, and contemplative setting. And when you feel like going out, it’s a few minutes drive to downtown St. Helena, a charming town, with good shopping and restaurants. We’re fairly active, and a highlight of our stays is going for runs and long walks on the country lanes among all the local vineyards. You just walk out the front door, and it’s like you’re instantly in the Tuscan countryside. Sitting in the hot tub at night, watching the stars, in the midst of the beautiful vineyard is truly an experience not to be missed!

Stop looking and book it!

I loved staying here so much I've returned again and again...and I don't want to let my secret out to the world so it gets too difficult to schedule, but I will pay it forward and let someone else enjoy the gem like I've enjoyed. There is nothing like waking up here to the mist hovering over the vines...in the cold weather I build a fire and stare out the windows, in the summer, drink the coffee outside for a perfect start to my day and the heat comes early. I've had stays of quiet solitude here, some friend time (less solitude, more laughs) with al fresco conversations fueled by wine and lit by stars, and family weekends dragging the kids out pool for dinner after hours of swimming and lounging. The house itself feels upscale and friendly, modern -- inviting not cold and stark (feels Eichler-esque), clean, updated and well cared for and the gardens and grounds are as well. The landscaping and vineyards are enjoyed from both inside the home and outside. Ideal location near quaint main street St. Helena for restaurants and shopping but secluded enough down a country lane to feel like a million miles away from my busy city life. I always want to stay longer but real life calls. Ive rented VRBO houses in Wine Country, Tahoe, London and New York and this one stays on my favorites list. Pics are accurate, and are only 2D so the experience is even better than that pictured, description accurate, owners delightful and easy to deal with and trustworthy.

Chic Vintners Paradise

Nestled in seclusion among the best cabernet vineyards in the valley – this expansive wine country retreat was our ultimate family escape! We embraced Napa living in this inviting, light flooded home with elegantly simple modern decor (recently remodeled with a touch of urban sensibility, I might add!). We began each day sipping cappuccinos on the patio overlooking the Alioto-Pier vineyards in the warm morning sun and toasted our good fortune every evening with Napa's finest while dining under the grape adorned pergola! This house became our personal resort – playing bocce & croquet between dips in the vineyard pocketed pool & hot tub. With Dean & Delucca literally around the bend and the country glitz of St Helena within strolling distance – we were never far from culinary and retail temptation – only problem was that we never wanted to leave the property! A perfect place for a romantic escape, a family retreat or a social gathering... In a word, this place is bliss – an oasis for all ages and tastes.

Wine country heaven! Only bad part is leaving it.

This St. Helena retreat has been one of our favorite spots to visit for many years! Our honeymoon started with a week here and we have been fortunate to come back about every year since. (Now our 9-year son looks forward to our trips there.) The house itself is lovely to stay in, but the real magic here is outside the walls. A pool, hot tub, bocci court, shuffleboard, fruit trees, berry bushes & grape vines all allow for a lush setting with plenty of hidden little spots to tuck away with a book while the kids frolic sans shoes and enjoy their own private fort in the double-decker tree house. It is ideally located close to many vineyards and just a couple miles to St.Helena town center. There are too many culinary delights to list that are within minutes of this retreat! One must simply explore and enjoy. This is an incredible place just waiting for more lucky people to create special memories in an ideal setting!

We are a family of 5 from San Francisco. Our 3 children were basically raised in this home, learning the basics of the wine business and what it means to be a small boutique farmer. Now two of them are off to college and another in high school. Our home in St. Helena has become a place of peace and solitude as well as a gathering spot for our friends and family. We are currently residing in Rome, Italy but, look forward to our return to St. Helena and our beautiful haven.

The clean simple lines of this house bring you back in time to the freshness and fun of the 1960's. The home was build in 1961 with the most beautiful views over the Rutherford Bench, Flora Springs Winery and Mt. St. Helena. The property is flat and easily accessible to everyone. It sits in the middle of 2 acres with beautiful views and, for those few months in autumn during crush, there is the most marvelous scent of grapes. It is a special home away from home.

Our home is unique in that it caters to everyone at every time in their lives. Because we raised our own children here, there are the definite markings of childhood; a tree house, a play house, small fruit trees for small people, board games of all types, and little knick knacks here and there. It is also, however, a home for couples who want a little beauty and sophistication. Additionally, our home is wheelchair accessible, all on one floor, a roll-in shower, and very easy for anyone with, or without mobility concerns.
