A Winter's Past is the perfect beach house, just steps to the sugary white sand beach and emerald green Gulf of Mexico. This 5 bedroom, 5 bath Gulf front home has phenomenal Gulf views, a private pool (can be heated upon request), enclosed patio area surrounded by the Seagrove dunes, beach boardwalk and an outdoor shower. Although most of your time will be spent enjoying the amazing outdoor space, the interior of the home is a treat in itself. The home sleeps 15 comfortably and has a unique layout making it the perfect multi-family beach home. Whether taking a stroll along the most beautiful beach on the Panhandle, splashing in the private pool or relaxing with your family and friends, A Winter's Past is sure to host wonderful memories for your family.
You have arrived at the beach...head upstairs to the first level of the home where you will find the living area, kitchen, dining room and covered balcony. Also on this level are four of the five bedrooms. The entry hallway leads to three King Master bedrooms and a fourth bedroom with two Twin beds, each with their own private bath. The end of the hallway opens to the spacious main living area and breathtaking panoramic view of the Gulf of Mexico. The living area has plenty of seating to enjoy watching TV or playing a board game with the family. The beautiful kitchen is fully stocked for all of your needs, easily accommodating the entire family. The dining area is just off of the kitchen, with seating for 10 and 4 extra seats at the breakfast bar. Just off of the living area is a covered balcony with comfy outdoor furniture for enjoying the view, the breeze, the sound of the waves or a view of the kiddos splashing in the pool.
Stairs off of the main living area lead up to the camp style bedroom, every kid's dream for a beach vacation! This room is perfect for the little ones. We must warn you giggling late into the evenings has been reported. This bedroom has one queen bed & five twin beds (1 set of twins are bunk beds). There is also a private bathroom in this bedroom.
Underneath the home, which is elevated on stilts, there is some covered parking available and additional uncovered parking in the driveway area. On the Gulf side of the home, the fenced in patio surrounding the pool backs up to the beautiful, lush greenery which covers the dunes. The boardwalk to the beach is accessible from the ground level of the home as well as the second floor balcony. The outdoor shower and grill are also located on the ground level. And, just a short stroll to the end of the driveway takes you to the beautiful scenic Highway 30A with a handful of restaurants and shops within walking and biking distance, some are just across the street.
This home includes 6 adult bikes on all new reservations! (This is for reservations booked after July 6, 2018. Reservations booked before this date may or may not include the bikes. Please call our reservations office for more details and to see if bikes were included at the time you booked.)
A Winter's Past is located in Seagrove Beach, which is a mile-and-a-half stretch that encircles a small cove and lures visitors with its beauty and serenity. Named for the thick grove of windswept trees that surround it, Seagrove still maintains the same green canopy of oaks, magnolias, hickories and sand pines that came to define it a half a century ago. Today, Seagrove has an eclectic mix of old beach homesteads and newer cottages, as well as a well-balanced menu of off-beach activities that range from exploring Point Washington State Forest to browsing the beach shops and restaurants along scenic Highway 30A.

Services include, but are not limited to: bike and beach chair rentals, airport and general transportation, grocery shopping, beach bonfires, fishing charters (Gulf and Bay), kayak rentals, baby sitters, restaurant recommendations, and spa services. Due to the outstanding beaches, beautiful emerald water and amazing communities along 30A, our area is getting more and more popular each year. Along with this comes a higher demand for housing, restaurants, etc and projects in the communities to meet these demands. There is a high possibility of nearby construction, home remodels, community changes and county projects on the roads and bridges along 30A year round and throughout every single community. Please be aware that refunds will not be issued due to noise disturbance or unsightly views due to nearby projects.
Reservation/ Booking Policy:
- PUBLISHED RATES DO NOT INCLUDE TAX AND FEES
- 50% of the total cost is due at the time of booking.
- Balance of payment is due 60 days prior to arrival date.
- Except for a 5% cancellation fee, the initial 50% payment is fully refundable if cancellations are given more than 60 days prior to the arrival date.
- Travel insurance plans are available to our guests; some restrictions apply. Ask for details. (Insurance is Optional.)
- Concierge services are available. We recommend arranging rentals and services as far in advance as possible as some services are limited.
