This is the ultimate vacation getaway!

Built in 1890, this character house has been completely renovated with a modern and industrial look and feel - come inside to enjoy an awesome combination of woods, metals, and materials.

Walk past the lovely porch swing and into the main level which is well appointed and packed full of memory-making capabilities: large Living Room with entertainment center, full sofa sleeper and large flat screen TV. Game Room with Foosball table and bar top. Den with TV console, board games, books, and 2 twin fold-out beds. The modern kitchen is fully equipped to make cooking at home a pleasurable experience. You'll find stainless steel appliances, glass cook top, oak cabinets, and a large breakfast bar. There are two primary dining areas - one indoors that features quality wood and metal turn-buckles and one outdoors on the brick patio - both of which seat 8.

The upstairs features 3 bedrooms that all include queen size beds with high-end plush mattresses and feature contemporary furniture and fixtures. All bedrooms are unique in character (2 of which have window seats) and all feature angled ceiling and built-in charm. Both full bathrooms in the upstairs are quite unique - one features a rain shower and pedestal sink while the other has a wonderful original cast iron soaking tub (with bamboo wine & book caddie!).

The primary feature of this home and the namesake of the property is a one-of-a-kind ‘Eagles Nest’. Pull down the ladder from the upstairs ceiling and you’ll climb up into a glass enclosed observation tower full of windows and accompanying seating area where you have a perfect vantage point of Pikes Peak and downtown Colorado Springs. Open the sliding door from the Eagles Nest and you can enjoy the outdoor tiled patio with wonderful teak Adirondack Chair, foot lounger, and side table.

This charming home was designed for your vacationing pleasure. Located in the heart of downtown yet set aside in a quiet neighborhood, you can walk to all the best shopping, restaurants, and events in Colorado Springs in 5 minutes, including close proximity to Colorado College, the Pikes Peak Center and the Fine Arts Center. Great rental property!

  • 5 of 5

This was my first time using VRBO, and I am so happy with the results! This was a great rental home for our stay in Colorado Springs! The house was spacious and clean, more than enough room for the 4 of us. The location is great, very close drive to lots of good restaurants, and easy to get to many different attractions around the city. The Eagle's Nest really was a nice little touch. The owner replied quickly to any questions we had in the booking process. I would definitely recommend this property!

Great place to stay

  • 5 of 5

My sister recently celebrated her 75th Birthday and six of her relatives from Alabama and Tennessee attended. I decided to use VRBO so we could all be together and we hit the jackpot. This house was just perfect and it felt like home, extremely well furnished and clean as could be. There was a blizzard forecast on our departure date and the owner offered to let us depart late. When we arrived we got a phone call to see if everything was ok. That was a first, having rented many VRBO homes. I highly recommend this property.

Great property

  • 5 of 5

Our house was as expected, and it was very clean - this was noted by all of the 8 adults who stayed there. Also, we had one minor problem and it was resolved very quickly to our satisfaction by the property manager. Plenty of room for us to spend time all together or hang out with just our spouses. Great home landing space while we enjoyed Co Springs, Manitou Springs, and hiking Pike's Peak. It was nice to stay in a house that was "as advertised" - we definitely recommend it!

Fabulous property!

  • 5 of 5

House was squeaky clean and had a wonderful industrial chic "Dwell Magazine" vibe. Very comfortable and attention to small details like black washcloths for makeup removal; blue glass mason jars with hand soap; and welcoming " movie night" kit with popcorn and candy, for example. Welcome phone call from property manager. Property is within walking distance of Colorado College. Perfect set up for hosting dinners for 8 inside or out. A high end stay experience which we would definitely do again.

Homey retreat!

  • 5 of 5

Our annual Mother/Daughter weekend was in Manitou Springs this year and we were delighted with our choice of homes! This retreat is spacious, the bedrooms are comfy, the kitchen was very well supplied and convenient. We had a ball and really enjoyed this beautiful property, it exceeded our expectations!

Easy, Clean and Great Accommodations!

  • 5 of 5

I had a business trip to Colorado Springs with two colleagues. We wanted to have a place that was close to our business meeting and downtown plus be able to cook and hang out in the evenings. The location was excellent. Kitchen well supplied, even gave us some popcorn to watch movies! I appreciated the courtesy call to make sure we had everything we needed and how clean the place was. I would consider coming back here with my family.
