*We are at 8,400 ft elevation. Please research the effects of altitude change prior too booking. Just as cruise lines do not reimburse for sea-sickness, we do not reimburse for altitude sickness. We advise you drink plenty of water on your way and stay hydrated during your stay.*
**Winter weather conditions may exist from September to May. A 4x4 vehicle is recommended during this time.**
***We are a family of 4 with small children that will be living above you. Although we will do our best to comply with the quiet hours they are children :) Please take this into consideration.***

Gorgeous little hideaway tucked into the mountains. The host has clearly spent a lot of time curating the decor and making this space cozy. She made us feel special as well by leaving a bottle of champagne to celebrate our honeymoon! No service until you connect to wifi, so make sure you screenshot your check-in info!

Perfect Getaway

Very clean, very quaint! Perfect place to relax and enjoy time away. Close to Woodland Park but far enough away to feel secluded. Manitou Lake is also nearby. Homeowners have thought of everything in this little haven! Beautiful decor, comfy bed, soft towels and all the amenities! The claw footed tub is perfect for a relaxing soak (bath salts and bath bombs included!)

Hey there! My name is Ashley Collier and I'm the owner of this little Vintage Velvet Haven. Originally from Missouri, my family and I moved to Colorado in 2020 and it's been absolutely magical! We love all things outdoors and I've always loved taking care of people. Hosting is such a great option for our family because of this. We get to share a little piece of our heaven and meet really awesome people while doing so.

Why they chose this property

Our neighborhood is surrounded by National Forest! So when you step out of the property, you won't even need to leave the area to hike if you don't want to! Due to being so close to the forest it's very common to encounter wildlife on the property. It's a very quiet, serene neighborhood with much beauty!

What makes this property unique

I love decorating! Most short term rentals I've personally stayed in are very plain, clean and modern which I think is great! BUT I wanted to be different and the word cozy is a must for me. From the moment you step into the property you're taken back in time in the most wonderful ways while still having modern amenities that are a must to making your stay convenient.
