About Tim and Kathy Gaughen

Aloha,

We recently relocated to this beautiful community from the Big Island of Hawaii. We lived on the island for 35 years where we raised a family and fully enjoyed the island style of living. When we retired, though, we knew it was time for a change.

Back in California after all those years in Puna, Volcano, and Kona, we now enjoy the proximity of children, grandchildren and extended family.

Tim and Kathy Gaughen purchased this house in 2011

Why Tim and Kathy Gaughen chose North Coast

Like Kona, Fort Bragg is a spectacular Pacific Coast community. This property offers space, beauty, redwoods, wildlife, and comfort.

NICE LOCATION CLOSE TO MACKERRICHER CAMPGROUND

  • 5 of 5

This is a nice three bedroom house with a full bathroom both upstairs and downstairs. We stayed for a full week and had small children. The washer and dryer were lifesavers! In addition, the kitchen was stocked with more dishes, pans, baking dishes, and utensils than my own kitchen at home! The deck was wonderful and a great place to sit and enjoy the beautiful weather.

The check-in and check-out process was easy, and even though we had NO issues, we had plenty of contact phone numbers in case something happened.

I highly recommend this home to those that want a comfortable place to stay. I have no doubt we will return.

This home was a relaxing home away from home. It was very well equipped for cooking and relaxing! Location was quiet, easy to find, and just minutes away fro all of the coastal adventures we planned!

Love this house. It is a perfect house for a family vacation. Great location, beautiful scenery.

  • 5 of 5

This is our second time renting this home. We love it! We are a big family and like to do lots of different things. The location is perfect for all of us. The Beach, Fishing, Abbing, or shopping in Fort Brag all just minutes away. The house itself is so relaxing. Whether you are in the big yard or sitting in the hot tub it is the perfect get away to relax. We had 6 cars and a boat with room for all of us to park. There were games movies and alot of laughter. The soap Kathy provides smelled so nice that we all went and bought some. We also were lucky to see a deer every day. The yard is big and beautiful and so peaceful. Already planning next years trip. Thank You, Tim and Kathy for all the extras that you put into this home making it so warm and inviting. It was a wonderful trip.

Lovely peaceful home great location

A great weekend place which accommodated our entire family including a baby grandson and our dog. We had everything we needed and enjoyed looking at the stars from the balcony at night and the whole family enjoyed the hot tub. Near to beaches and downtown and shopping.
