Beautiful cabin located in the Choestoe area south of Blairsville,Ga . All wood interior. Lodge furnishing's. Located near Vogel state park, Helen, Appalachian trail, Brasstown Bald.
We stayed for three nights in November and had the place to ourselves (it was during the week). Great cabin - clean, neat and well-appointed. We think it would be a great place to come and spend the weekend with friends!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Andreas cabin. It is conveniently located away from town but not so far out as to make it a chore to drive into town if necessary. The cabin was well decorated and extremely clean. My son especially enjoyed the Nottely river access located on the property. The most convenient part for us was the lockbox Andrea uses for key pickups and returns that saves you a trip to a rental office. I wounderstand recommend this cabin to anyone looking to stay in the area and hope to stay here again in the future.
My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time at the cabin. It was so peaceful and beautiful. I want to make this a tradition going forward and look forward to going back next October!
Perfect place to escape! We will definitely be back!
Overall we were very pleased and plan another visit next yr.
Bear Claw was the perfect place to relax and recharge. It was attractive, well furnished and very clean. Close enough to town but felt miles away. Rocking on the porch morning and evening and walking to the river were such pleasant activities. One very important note: we also recommend NOT using a GPS as another reviewer stated. Wish we had remembered that review. From Dahlonega, ignore the GPS if it says to use Helton Creek Road or Hatchet Creek Road-driving on a gravel road and crossing a creek twice in the dark is more adventurous than I am comfortable. Thankful we drove an SUV and there had not been any rain. Nevertheless, the cabin was everything we wanted and we are looking forward to our next stay. Thanks, Andrea, for a fabulous cabin.
