Wonderful and relaxing area. Close enough to Boone to do stuff but far enough away to feel remote. The inside of the dome felt huge and the sound of the creek was such a calming backdrop to a very pleasant stay. Will definitely be staying here again.

We're so glad you enjoyed your stay. We'll see you next time!
We really enjoyed our stay! You can hear the stream from inside, providing a really tranquil experience to rest. Everything was just as the listing said. We would do it again.
Weather was VERY cold during our stay! But the gas log heater inside the dome greeted us warmly and did a wonderful job of keeping us comfortable inside. We cooked our meals outside on the blacktop grill and ate on the deck admiring the creek and woods surrounding us. With below freezing highs and lows in the low teens, for a last minute get out of the city dose of nature it was a lazy relaxing trip, but would love to experience again in slightly warmer temps. Host, Paul, was very responsive and even reached out to check on how we got settled in as we had a very late after hours arrival our first night. Cleaner/caretaker Ricky and ladies assiting him were very kind also as they popped in to maintain equipment and set up other sites for more guests' arrival. Basic items were provided that made for a rustic feel and elevated camping experience.
We got there a little dark and was excited to see the scenery in daytime it did not disappoint. It was beautiful and the sound of the creek water was so calming! The little touches around the property with motion lights and craftmanship or small attention to details was spot on. The property contact for questions was quick response time and very helpful. Can't wait to book again maybe in warmer temps next time but was a lovely and memorable experience for my family!

We're so glad you enjoyed your stay! We'll be adding wifi in the near future and few other amenities.
Charming place with nice stream and firepit which fits into glamping description. I would recommend the cleaning thoroughly: sheets/pillow cases had hairs on them when we arrived, many stains on the bedding (buy new ones), old scouring pad just sitting out, interior mold throughout, including on all over property paperwork, cooler smells, green slime on bottom of water reservoir of keurig, shower visibly dirty. To include a 30 cleaning fee in the face of all of this is too much or maybe lower nightly rate.

My understanding is this your first glamping adventure in the woods. You enjoyed your stay but had issues with cleaning. There should never be hairs on the pillow case so we will go over that with our cleaning crew. We can always improve so thanks for your suggestions. After your first night's stay, you inquired about the propane heater, I messaged you that our cleaner, Ricky, was coming by that day to look at the propane heater. You didn't mention any cleaning issues. We are always happy to address any issues that we know about.
Property was amazing. Very secluded. The creek right outside was fabulous and the geodome was very cute and cozy. It was a very memorable stay! We are avid campers, so we were prepared for anything we might need. The host contacted us via email and text to check in with us as soon as we arrived. I let him know about some items that were not there(refreshing wipes) and he helped us figure out the firewood. The listing does say pet friendly and the property is very secluded for your pet to be offleash, but the bed does have a label saying "no pets on bed". Just keep that in mind if your dog sleeps with you. We brought a cot with us for our son and dog, so it wasn't an issue for us. The shower house was between 2 of the properties and if you are good with rustic type quick showers, you will be fine. Overall it was a great time and we wish we lived closer and could stay all the time. We drove from Muskegon, MI and it was 100% worth it!Short walk to geodome and gorilla carts in the parking area to use for bringing items to the goedome. You can not drive up to it.Suggestions- it would be nice to have somewhere to hang jackets inside and maybe a wardrobe or something to put your bags in/on and not just the floor. I will share videos/pics to their social media page as I feel this property deserves to be recognized as a prime property to get away from the everyday!
The Doggett family has owned the land for over 50 years. I grew up coming up enjoying the land and playing in the creek with my family. We wanted to share the experience and our little slice of heaven with others.
