Lovely stay in Glen Ellen. Peaceful and relaxing and within walking distance to all the Glen Ellen must sees (Pascal's, glen Ellen Star, the market and our favorite tasting rooms!). Impeccably clean and well appointed we would definitely come back and recommend it.

The hosts were wonderful to work with and very knowledgeable of the entire area and more. They made our stay very comfortable!The place is walking distance to a French Cafe that was absolutely delicious for morning coffe. Drving distance toany great wineries was only 10 minutes to 40 minutes.The place was extremely clean and comfortable, had all the things needed for a couples stay and my wife and I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Glonda and Carol were great hosts. The property was very clean. Some folks commented that it wasn't as advertised but the photos are correct. It is a hosted property so the owners are on-site. We had fresh coffee creamer in the fridge and fresh muffins on the kitchen table. It is one big room with a small but serviceable bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. We would stay there again for sure. .

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Glen Ellen English Cottage. We have been to Sonoma many times and chose Glen Ellen for its proximity to our favorite wineries (and new ones), great dining (Glen Ellen Star and others), and we enjoy hikes (every morning). The studio is well appointed, the bed is great, clean, and our hosts went through the trouble to make us GF welcome muffins (quite tasty). Enjoy early coffee/tea or a late afternoon glass of wine on the studio's porch and be amazed by the hummingbirds. We would visit again.

Staying with Glonda and Carol was such a treat! They were incredible hosts, making sure we had everything we needed! They had great recommendations for the area as well! This is such a cute, clean, relaxing and perfect getaway in Glen Ellen. 10/10!!

Glonda and Carol were welcoming hosts. The pumpkin bread was fabulous that they left for us in our room. Truly enjoyed the stay, they had helpful suggestions of where to go where to eat what to do. Will definitely be back.

This rental was absolutely delightful. We were blown away by how the owners have thought of absolutely everything you need. The decor is charming. The bed is a dream. The kitchen area has everything for two people. We made our breakfast every morning. The owners are so welcoming - they instantly felt like old friends. We had fresh baked banana bread waiting for us when we got there. We hope this place is always available when we stay in the area.

Perfectly nice hosts, but it wasn't a great experience overall. After we arrived and were met, my husband had to drive back to our home in Marin to grab something he forgot and the host walked into the cottage when I was there without knocking. And the next day, they turned the power off, without notification and we came home from a 5k run to no electricity. They did turn it back on within 10 mins of us returning but it would have been good to get a pre-notification. It was a hot day!And the photos on their VRBO are not accurate. The exterior shot is of their house; not the guest cottage they rent out. And the photos of the bathroom and bedroom ARE NOT the guest cottage either. The bathroom (and shower) were tiny and the bedroom space was an entirely different look and feel.

Amazing location and place!!!

My son and I went up to Glen Ellen for the 4th weekend to see friends. From the moment we arrived at the cottage we felt like it was a home away from home. A handwritten welcome card (always a nice touch!!!) all the amenities you want (coffee, tea, microwave, fridge, ceiling fan for warm nights, and tv!). Bed was super comfortable - we got a great sleep both nights. The location is amazing - walking distance to a great French bakery (Pascal’s), the Jack London lodge, a great market, Glen Ellen Star restaurant (wow), and awesome breakfast place (Garden Court Cafe). Would def stay again!!!

Glonda and Carol are amazing hosts. The property is the absolute perfect stay in Sonoma wine country. The cottage is immaculate. The MOST comfy bed and bedding. Delightful kitchen area stocked with Keurig coffee, sugar and tea. Glonda even stocked the fridge with some fresh milk. AND made us delicious banana nut muffins. She is super easy to communicate with on text and in person. She is happy to share area reco's and make you feel right at home. Bathroom is lovely and great shower and pressure. Quiet and we slept like babies. I can't say enough about how warm and welcomed we felt. Thank you Glonda and Carol for a wonderful stay. We will most certainly be back.

I just wanted to start by thanking Glonda and Carol for a wonderful stay. They are so nice and welcoming from the start. The cottage was perfect, clean and in a great location! Great property and wonderful hosts. Accommodations are separate from the main house. I am pretty picky about beds due to a bad back and this on was far superior to most I have encountered. Shower had great water pressure. Quarters were spacious and clean. Would absolutely recommend to anyone wanting to explore the Sonoma or Napa Valleys.
