Spa Suite Retreat in the Town Center of Morganton is less than a mile to beautiful Lake Blue Ridge, where you can enjoy the beach, swim, kayak and fish at Morganton Point Recreation area. The Studio space has 3 twin beds, is suitable for 3 guests. PLEASE NOTE there is NO TVs, NO Internet/ Wifi. The Spa Suite Retreat is a respite from the norm... Yoga mats, exercise bands and weights, massage table are available for guests to use.
Relax with a glass of wine and light the chimenea in the private garden. Firewood is provided. The studio has AC, heating, and bathroom amenities are provided. The front porch area is great in the morning with a cup of coffee to watch the traffic go by. There are books and board games available. We created this Spa Studio space to renew, reflect and relax without the distractions of TV or INTERNET! A sound machine, circular fan are also provided to enhance a restful sleep. There are also interesting books to read. Board games. Kitchen is equipped with plates, cups, bowls, utensils, wine glasses, for four guests. Refrigerator, Microwave, toaster oven, hot plate, pans, pots, electric coffee pot, electric tea pot. Coffee, teas, sugar, creamers are complimentary for guests. If you have any special requests, please contact us. Fishing excursions on Lake Blue Ridge can be booked by calling Lake Blue Ridge Fishing Adventures. Walk to the morganton point recreation area, swimming beach, kayak, boat launch area. BBQ restaurant, post office, gas station, deli, butcher shop Wine tasting room and soon off road and golf cart rentals are all within walking distance from the Spa Studio. Downtown Blue Ridge is 4 miles away, where Toccoa River Outfitters Fly shop and Guide Service is located on West Main Street. Ready to Learn to Fly Fish? Have Experience and need flies or gear? Toccoa River Outfitters has everything you need for fly fishing.

This place is a commercial building that appear to be a massage parlor. Glass doors opens to the street. Massage table is the first thing you see when you walk in. Bed is behind a curtain. No tv. I walked in with my wife and was embarrassed. I didn’t stay. We took the hit and stayed elsewhere. It is not close to anything of interest. Might be ok for some folks but not me. I won’t recommend this place for anyone.

Lake Retreat

This studio apartment has all the feels to get you away from the every day hussle & bussle. Very clean, very relaxing, short drive to the lake, not very long walk to the lake, front porch sitting, bird watching & listening. I am giving this studio a 5 star all around.

The space was clean and beds were comfortable. The biggest issue was that the front of the apartment is right near a corner where cars go by all night and shine their lights in the huge plate glass wall. the curtains are sheer and don't block the light. Made sleeping very difficult. The motorcycle shop next door and a building being torn apart close by created a lot of noise during the daytime.

The accommodations were clean and welcoming. Had everything we needed, although my husband didn’t read the part about no TV or WiFi. Vehicle lights shining in the upper front windows made it a bit difficult to sleep in. Overall we had a great stay.

We have been enjoying boating, kayaking and swimming on Lake Blue Ridge for the last 20 years. The quirky village of Morganton has a few new shops to explore. Hiking, wineries, are all nearby.

Why they chose this property

The Spa Suite Retreat used to be the post office, then a pharmacy and Drs office. We have renovated it to be a relaxing spa retreat, enjoy a relaxing Therapeutic Spa Treatment during your stay. A space to reconnect. Walk to the restaurant and deli. Morganton is a quirky village that was the County seat a while back. It's so close to the lake, you can walk or drive 1 mile to the kayak and boat launch, beach area. There is Mike's BBQ restaurant, VTwins Motor Cycles, Post office, Gas station and deli, Lake Blue Ridge Fishing Adventures and the new butcher shop, package store, tasting room will be open soon. Only 4 miles to down town Blue Ridge, and the small towns of Blairsville GA , Copperhill TN, Murphy NC is a short 20-30 with restaurants and breweries only 20-30 minutes drive.

The Spa Suite is perfect to relax with a Spa Treatment with our Licensed Therapist in the comfort of the studio without going anywhere! It is in the center of the quirky village of Morganton. Can walk to the BBQ restaurant and deli. New butcher shop, tasting room opening soon. Wineries, hiking, beach, lake, campground all close by. The spa suite is centrally located in town. Parking for 1-2 vehicles. If you have a jet ski or boat parking is available behind the property. Please let us know if you will be bringing a trailer.
