Words cannot express this beautiful Sanctuary

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at the Barn for our Honeymoon. Pictures don't do this beautiful property justice. My husband (of one week) and I wanted a get-away that wasn't fast paced and high energy. As other people have said, the Barn is tucked away on the side of the mountain , but the bustle of Asheville isn't far away at all. We loved the attention to Detail inside and outside- the organic coffees and teas, comfy towels, comfy bed, the landscaping and the other wonderful accents. Also, the stone shower is Awesome! While in the area, we watched the sunset at the near by Parkway overlook, walked around downtown Avl., toured the Biltmore and winery, went white water rafting ( Blue Heron Whitewater, Marshall, NC) ate at the Lexington Brewery, and had a low key days ate the Barn. Anna is great to work with leading up to and during our stay, and is genuinely nice all around! Thank you for opening up this beautiful cabin to us! We willbe back for sure , and plan to tell our friends.

P.S. - We saw the bear climbing up in the trees and it was awesome

A Heavenly Getaway Experience!

  • 5 of 5

Anna,

Words cannot express the magnitude of the Barn experience. From the moment I viewed the website description and photos I knew this was the place for our romantic anniversary month getaway. The peaceful surrounding truly passes all understanding. What an invigorating boost to the soul. I loved every detail of the Barn, especially the openness, one room flowing into the next like each relaxing moment.

The shower, hot tub, fire pit, grill and kitchen provided all we needed and then some! Truly we do not want to leave this serene setting. Especially the spectacular sunrises and warm, cozy bed!

Blessed, sacred, stillness...gratitude, peace, and love.

Thank You!!!

Great Getaway!

  • 5 of 5

I found the Barn while searching online for a place to stay for an Asheville getaway close to Christmas. I loved the photos, but they don’t really do justice to the Barn. When you walk in, it smells and feels like a spa. The furnishings are very comfortable, it is super clean and comes well-equipped. It is a perfect retreat for a couple seeking to unwind and reconnect. It is very close to Asheville and right off a paved road (which is a huge plus for me). There are a couple houses close by, but it feels secluded and we enjoyed plenty of privacy. Our favorite part was watching the sunrise from both the master and the hot tub. I would certainly recommend this rental and we are looking forward to staying here again.

Home away from home

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I reserved the barn for our mini moon after our Asheville wedding. It was just what we needed! It was quiet, secluded, romantic, and cozy. Anna covered every detail you could think of in this property to enjoy our stay. We loved having tea and enjoying the views, seeing the sun rise in the AM from the bedroom, reading outside in the various seating nooks, and enjoying the fire pit and hot tub in the evenings. It's just a quick trip into Asheville and the uber drivers were more than willing to pick us up and take us back though we navigated the steep drive on foot. I would definitely recommend the barn for a lovely getaway!

Recommend the Barn for Asheville stay

  • 5 of 5

Anna was wonderful to work with. We started our stay at her other property Bamboo House (incredible!) and then spent three nights at the Barn. Property overlooks the mountains. Secluded, private views. Property is well stocked with amenities-even a picnic basket we used when driving the Blue Ridge Parkway (which is just uphill from the Barn). The stone shower has a beautiful view of the trees and sunrise. Bed was very comfortable. We used the fire pit one night under a carpet of stars-simply beautiful. Plenty of kitchen items available. Notebook at the house has all the information you need to know. Had a couple questions (I had never used a gas stove) and Anna helped us out quickly. There is an herb garden and a Koi pond-very relaxing environment. The house is 5 miles from the heart of downtown. Anna helped us with restaurant recommendations as well. The barn has a number of outdoor seating areas and is well maintained. Renting the Bamboo House and the Barn made for a truly incredible and relaxing vacation in Asheville.
