My husband and I wanted to visit Asheville and see the Biltmore and the mountains. This has been a fantastic visit. The Barn is perfect for us. We love adventure during the day and relaxing in the hot tub in the evening. We love the views from every room & especially the shower area. It is so peaceful here. Yesterday, we were pleasantly surprised to see a black bear right outside the shower window. He was so cute. He walked over & grabbed the watering can to play with it then dropped it and jumped over the fence. It was amazing!

Thank you so much for all the attention to detail you put into this cabin. we felt very much welcomed and at home.

P.S. loved the city, hiking to the waterfalls, LaZoom haunted comedy tours. We will definitely be returning.......

Thank You for another glorious get-away at your cabin. The first time we were here was early January of this year.It marked the true beginning of the commitment between my partner and I..This time I Proposed!!!!

There's truly something magical about your place Anna and you are the perfect steward over it!! Everything here is exactly as it should be and you were right to share it with the world.

It is lavish in all the best ways, yet simple in elegance. It is warm and rich with all the love that has come before us and I could only imagine if the walls could talk!!!!! There is a Deep Joy here.A celebration of love that is rooted firmly in the soil & drips from every beam and detail.

Renewal, Commitment,Peace & Hope here and if you could bottle it up- you could change the world.

We are certainly leaving with hearts full & there is no question that we will be back!!!

Thank you Anna for everything , you are an amazing person!!!

Until then......

Cozy mountain cabin

  • 4 of 5

Overall we enjoyed our stay at the barn. The place was clean and everything was ready when we arrived. This location is great because it's very close to downtown and an easy drive but also great because it's actually up on the mountain with a nice view. We enjoyed the walk in shower and the bed was very comfortable. A few things we weren't crazy about was the limited selection of channels with the cable, we felt rushed to checkout ( we were told several times to make sure we check out by 10), I felt like there were so many rules that we had to follow. I don't think it was really worth what we paid.

However, Anna was very helpful when we couldn't get the heat to work. She came right over to help us because we were freezing!

Owner's Response: Hello Shelly, I would like to thank you again for staying at the barn and happy that you enjoyed your stay. I appreciate your feed back and review as I encourage this from all guests. I would like to address your few concerns: I looked into the TV cable selection and even though there are 123 channels I added 125 extra channels & movie channels. So thank you again for this feed back A lot of our guests tell me the Barn is their escape. The Hot Tub, stars at night, the fire pit and just the pure serenity and magic of the Barn, a special time to reconnect.I feel this is why I have never received any feedback on the TV channels. I'm so sorry that you felt rushed at check out.I never intended to make you feel rushed. As with every guest the morning of Checkout I text each guest to (1) thank them for staying at the Barn (2) Ask them how they would like to pay for the remainder of their stay.(3) Wish them safe travels and hope to see them again in the future, (4) Remind them what time Check out is. I do this as most guests do not want to pull up their confirmation with the Check out information and also in the past guests would text me and ask me to remind them what time Check Out was. I texted this information to you at 8:30 . A little after 9:15 I texted you again to let you know that a Black bear was heading your way and wanted you to be aware of him in case you were packing and walking in and out of the Barn 5 minutes before your check out time I did text you again to say that I was sorry you didn't get to see the Bear.:( as I knew you really wanted to see him. I then wished you safe travels again and reminded you of check out time only because it was 5 minutes before check out time, in case you missed in the previous text. Its very important to us to have our guests check out promptly by check out time unless other arrangements are made in advance. The reason for this is that most of our guests want to check in early, to get the most out of their stay. We try very hard to accommodate these needs. You requested an early Check In if possible and as per this quote we did succeed. We were so happy to be able to do this for you. "Hi Shelly yes you can check in anytime after 1:30 " So again I"m sorry you felt rushed, but hope you enjoyed early check in. Most of our "Rules/ Tips"- helpful hints- How not to attract wild life, make sure fire is doused, water conservation, no soaps in hot tub.Etc. Thank you and hope to see you again:) Anna
