The pictures honestly don’t do this place justice. Absolutely fantastic stay. Two bathroom setup so convenient. We spent a lot of time at the river, just fantastic. 18 minutes into town. The dog loved it too! Will be back.
EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT!! Loved the location, the layout and especially the porch and river access. John was very responsive. I would very much like to come here again!!
This is a very family friendly home, my pup had so much room to run around freely without his leash. It’s a very private location, child friendly and we felt safe the whole time. Traverse city is about 17 minutes from the house. 5 stars, we had an amazing trip. Well stocked on amenities you’ll need.
This was by far the best place we've stayed at. Plenty of room, everything you needfor the kitchen. Plenty of towels. The 2 showers was wonderful. So very clean. Thescreened porch was also very nice. The property was beautiful Our dogs had a great time exploring and loved loved the river, in it all the time. The fire pit next to the river was so peaceful and lovely, we sat there every night. Only 15 mins from Traverse city and close to everything else. I would suggest maybe a couple lamps for the living room and also a shade for the bathroom windows. We are already planning for next year. Thank you for sharing this piece of heaven The Smith family
Overall we had a wonderful stay! The location is absolutely beautiful and the beds were comfortable, clean and the set up worked great for our family! We loved being able to take our dog as well. Overall, for how much we paid there were a few things of note that could be easy fixes:- the living room was very dark with only one overhead light and could use a lamp or two! We couldn’t even read a book at night due to inadequate lighting.- there is no dishwasher which is not a problem, but also no simple drying rack to easily do dishes and let them dry. Also only one dish cloth was provided. - it is an older cottage and have done a nice job overall but there was one bedroom were trim was missing with big gaps and the carpet seems a little old and dirty with lots of dog hair. Again, not a big deal and understand with a place that allows dogs but for the price didn’t expect and could be improved.Overall we had a wonderful time!
A quiet little slice of peace and paradise! Close enough to downtown TC but still feels secluded. Beautiful property and cozy house. We loved the fire pit near the river. Communication with host was super easy. We are already thinking of planning a return trip. :)
We enjoyed an “Up North” extended summer stay at River Camp visiting with family and friends. The Boardman riverfront location was excellent for fishing, bonfires and hunting for Petoskey stones. Tons of privacy. The home had everything we needed for our stay including a beautiful fenced back yard for our pups!! The host was great to work with. I would highly recommend a stay here!! Two thumbs up!!
We had a girls weekend at the cottage. It was perfect for us! We loved the screened in porch to sit out and read and play games. There are comfortable chairs around the fire pit down by the river which also is a great place to sit and read. The beds were super comfortable. Bathrooms very clean and spacious. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
