Great stay in a great location!

Loved this location. It was private and close to the heart of downtown. Walking distance from several grocery stores, and a short drive from the River Arts District and Breweries. The place was clean, comfortable, and quiet! Would stay here again when I return to Asheville

Enjoyed our stay, great location close to the downtown area, had everything we needed for a weekend

Liked the place overall, TV was a little small but weren’t there much except in the morning and at night. It did get pretty hot at night making it a little difficult to fall asleep.

Perfect place for a long weekend get-a-way!

Our host was extremely helpful and polite, yet not intrusive. His restaurant recommendations were perfect and we visited as many as we could: Limones, Early Girl, Curate, Rhubarb, etc. The location was amazing and we enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and into town. The space was exactly as advertised; a quaint, clean, well maintained century home. Enjoy!

Charming and Convenient

This romantic apartment is in the perfect location with access to the excitement of Asheville (we walked everywhere) but is still in a quiet peaceful neighborhood. The owner was very accommodating and attentive to our needs, while still allowing for privacy. The property was spacious and charming, and the recent renovation made it very comfortable. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Walkable to Pack Square Park, quiet neighborhood

This studio apartment is in a great location. A 10 minute walk to Pack Square made it easy to explore Asheville’s famed restaurants, brewpubs and retail district. It was a quick drive to the The Biltmore and we enjoyed the winery, gardens and tour of the mansion. The River Arts District and South Slope brewery district also captured our attention. Convenient, yet located in a quiet neighborhood, the apartment was as described and clean. Bill, the host, was very responsive and helpful. We enjoyed our stay!

Lovely anniversary weekend away

Perfect location on a quiet street with an absolutely lovely view of the mountains (and sunsets!). We appreciated the short walkable distance to not only downtown Asheville but also several grocery stores; the apartment included a large kitchen with all necessities to cook a meal and enjoy it comfortably. Most of all we appreciated the attentiveness of our host, Bill. He checked in with us regularly to make sure we were comfortable, offered recommendations for local attractions and fare, and was easily reachable with any questions/concerns. We will most definitely stay with Bill again on our next trip!

Great location, clean, safe, good experience

Super convenient, safe neighborhood near Trader Joes. and Downtown. Good experience with the owner. Sparkling clean and tidy. Easy secure parking. Five Stars, highly recommend. I would love to see the owner decorate with local photographs/art and put a mirror over the fireplace to reflect the gorgeous view. Maybe add a few more wine glasses (beyond 2) and cozy up the kitchen. This is not real criticism, just saying that the space could be charmed up a bit (with decorating passion :) Given the plusses, that is a very small concern. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Awwwh the mountains!

We enjoyed our stay in Asheville; the owner could provide nicer sheets, washcloths, wooden or plastic clothes hangers, a bucket or bag of ice, a small range, a big rug for the living/bedroom (9x12), a handheld shower head, sturdier eating table and glass tops for the nightstands. Comforter is nice, bathroom storage and clothes storage is good, bath towels are very nice, drinking glasses, cups, plates, are all nice, nice size fridge, clean, well lit. We liked the charm of living in a old house, however the kitchen needs professional help. Separate thermostat needs to be in place. The stairs were a challenge, but knew this before we rented. I thought the value for the $$$ was not good. Bill was very accomadating and checked up on us often. Bill, we really think some cosmetic changes could bring you some more business, we hope you look at this as being helpful not criticism. Your Mountain View would make us come back. Thank you for letting us stay.

Thanks for the comments, they are certainly not typical of the feedback we receive but glad to consider any suggestions which might improve the experience. P.S. we are not allowed by statute to provide a full-sized stove - in fact, we gave away a very nice range to meet permitting requirements. P.S.S. we're booked almost every weekend from end of March till end of October - we couldn't accommodate more business at this point.

This is a great property! Close to all the fun, but also in a peaceful neighborhood. Property manager was extremely easy to work with and had good suggestions for breakfast spots, etc. Check it out when you’re in Asheville!

Excellent Location

The property and owner were very nice and exactly what we were looking for when we picked this spot for a weekend trip. The location itself is a short walk to coffee shops, downtown, and more. The owner made us feel very comfortable and was attentive throughout the stay as well as before, he gave us recommendations on where to go and eat, things to do, etc. We would definitely stay at this spot for future trips to Asheville.

Nice spot in beautiful neighborhood

We had a very nice weekend at this clean and comfortable apartment. The owner was very attentive. The neighborhood was peaceful and beautiful. Very quick walk to great coffee and food a couple of blocks down the street. Easy walk to downtown.

Wonderful spot to stay!

This apartment was the perfect spot to stay! My husband and I visited for our anniversary and had many places we wanted to see in Asheville. Everything was in walking distance from the apartment and we loved staying there. Bill was so nice to show us in and gave suggestions to places to see while down. He is super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The apartment has a great window view, comfy bed and homey atmosphere. We plan to stay here again!

Quiet and convenient

This apartment is located within a short walk to downtown in a quiet peaceful neighbourhood. The host Bill met us on arrival and answered any questions, and was easy to reach. Great view of the mountains out the front window of this bright, clean, second floor room with a comfy bed!

Great place, central to EVERYTHING!

This was the perfect place for my wife and me. The property was literally 4 minutes to everywhere we wanted to go. It was clean and well maintained, and our host was friendly and very helpful. Highly recommend!
