Why Jerry Gundersen chose Bainbridge Island
Our beach at Point White Guest House is perfectly situated with a view of Puget Sound, Blake Island and the one and only Mount Rainier. It's a quiet place for reading, writing and dreaming, and a fun place for active sports, too. Well-behaved dogs are welcome.
What makes this Cottage unique
Spectacular scenery, wonderful walks, nearby shopping, eating and entertainment, including a historic movie theater from 1936. If you would like to arrive by boat, we can tie you up to our mooring buoy in front of the house. Pleasant Beach Village offers free live music on Summer Tuesdays featuring local artists. Short short stay
Only a couple of things stood out as not stellar which helped to make our decision to not stay the full time we were expecting to. The bed was not comfortable at all, and though the it was known that we were bringing our dogs with us, through all of the communication exchange prior to our arrival, or in rental agreement - that our dogs were required to be kenneled while we not with us. This was instructed to us in a note left on the dog bed- we of course were not prepared.
The beach also was rocky which was not mentioned anywhere.
No sound system which was disappointing.
Hospitality was warm, which we did appreciate and owners were prompt and made some really good restaurant suggestions.
Cozy comfortable place for a family
The guest house efficiently uses space for a relaxed, comfortable vibe. All the creature comforts are there and plenty of hot water. The beach is right there for stone skipping and enjoying the view. Small town is a short walk away. Really enjoyed the private little house and hospitality of the hosts. Very nice, would return again.
We loved hosting this delightful family. So nice to hear you enjoyed a fun, relaxing stay.
Stay in Bainbridge island
Thank you and merci beaucoup! And we appreciate the tip about the Mont St Michel exhibit at MOHAI! So fascinating.
nicest place we've ever stayed
This was a clean, comfortable, beautifully designed guest house that is exactly as depicted on their site and also facebook page. The scenery is unparalleled and the neighborhood both animated and relaxing. There's a bustling cute area within walking distance for food, coffee, and a little retail therapy, plus a great art house theatre. Owners are super accommodating and helpful, but respectful of privacy.
Wonderful location, water right outside. Owners a wealth of information. Our dogs loved it !
We SO enjoyed hosting this delightful couple and their friendly pooches. There are perks to being a dog-friendly property. :-)
We are located on the south end of Bainbridge Island with the best no bank beach on the island and views of Blake Island and Mount Rainier. Our beach is on Rich Passage and the Bremerton ferry passes by every hour.
