Wonderful place! Can't recommend enough.

  • 5 of 5

I spent three nights here with my two children, and we loved it. The guest house itself is lovely, and the kids loved the bunk beds (the hosts even left stuffed animals on each of them). I really appreciated the way drawers and areas were labeled and the fact that that there were clear instructions (with photos!) for how to use the remotes, the shower, and the door lock. The owners were responsive and very helpful. The beach is great and the proximity to Pleasant Beach Village is nice. There really isn't anything I would change. Thank you!!!

Beautiful little home

Thoughtful design for family togetherness and individual space for everyone. Steps from the beach, which even in winter is beautiful and fun. Hosts are kind. Loved the books!

New Year's family retreat

  • 5 of 5

We choose a local get-away each New Year to spend time as a family (three generations) reflecting on our year and setting intentions for the new year. We have stayed in many different areas and guest homes. However, this one will be a repeat. The guest house was cozy and beautiful. The setting was inspirational and we found so much to do that going back is necessary just to experience all of the great hiking. Thank-you Jerry and Susan for providing such a relaxing retreat.

so relaxing and welcoming

  • 5 of 5

We just returned from an extremely relaxing 3 day holiday stay at Point White Guest House. Jerry, the owner, was quick to answer any questions I had, and was very welcoming of my whole family, including my dog. The well designed cottage is clean, private, efficient, and has multiple "little touch" amenities that made our stay fun and special. We appreciated the sliding door that separates the sleeping bunks from the main area, so that our night owl sons could stay up as late as they wanted without bothering anyone who wanted to sleep. Although it was stormy during our visit, it didn't prevent us from taking hikes or walking along the beach. We did see a whale on our way home, which was a first for me in the Puget Sound area. Pleasant Village with its many eateries and theater, is a close walk along the beach if you want some community action. We were delighted to hang out, listen to the rain, and catch up over family meals at the cottage. This was just right for a family of four. There is also a well kept dog park nearby that allowed us to exercise our dog safely. Jerry has a notebook with menus, suggestions, and articles that gave us a sense of what there was to choose from on Bainbridge Island. I am planning to stay here for another "retreat", when I can make a beach campfire and stare at Mt. Rainer across the water. Thank you for a lovely , quiet break from our routine, and for letting us bring our pooch. Four4adventure / Susan
