From the minute you arrive and step onto the covered deck you will face some of the most beautiful mountain views in Western North Carolina. Grab a glass of wine and a sweater and enjoy the scenery by the fire pit or sink into the covered Hot tub and enjoy the breathtaking views of the majestic Blue Ridge Mountains.

The photos are accurate. However the master bathroom was missing a shower curtain, and the tub did not look like it had been used in a long time. There was lots of buildup on both shower heads. The grill igniter didn't work. There were no covers for the windows on either door or on the kitchen. The property was tidy, but the shower situation was concerning. I tried to call 3 phone numbers listed, including the business number, during business hours. No answer. The property manager did answer messages on vrbo within a fee hours. It was an adequate place to stay.

We are also sorry that you were unable to reach someone by phone when you called. The view here is absolutely phenomenal—the photos truly don't do it justice. The house is very cute, cozy, and welcoming. The hot tub is a fantastic addition and offers the same breathtaking view as the front porch, making it a perfect place to relax.Check-in was simple and hassle-free, and Melissa's communication was excellent throughout our stay. It's an amazing getaway for a couple, with plenty of fantastic food options nearby.The only thing I would change is that there are only two TVs in the house, both of which are smaller and not smart TVs. Other than that, everything was wonderful.Overall, this was a 10/10 stay, and I would definitely recommend it We will be back

Very clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again. I would recommend getting there in the daylight however. No address marker and you can't see it at night and you don't know if you can trust GPS in the mountains in the dark. We didn't and went too far up the drive and had to back down. Semi-private in the winter but would be more private in the summer due to foliage. Not sure how it would be for a louder family or group. It was a very quiet setting and it would be easy to disturb surrounding properties. Great space for a quiet, relaxing getaway.

Overall it had everything I needed. The property felt private and had nice views of the mountain, yet I was still close enough to amenities like a grocery store (10-15 minutes down the road) and restaurants in downtown Burnesville.

Perfect Family Getaway
