Wonderful Visit

  • 5 of 5

What a fantastic cabin! High on the hill, there's gorgeous views from every window. The inside of the cabin is cozy, welcoming, and nicely furnished. The gas fireplace was fairly user friendly and it warmed up the space quickly. It was such a treat to come in from the hot tub and immediately step into the comforting embrace of warmth. I can't speak highly enough of the amazing views from the hot tub, which is covered. We were able to relax in hot water with a cold drizzle overhead and watch the mist come over the mountains at night. What an experience! The views from the hot tub alone are worth staying there. It's a well kept property and was very clean and comfortable. It's a beautiful home with a beautiful view. What more can you ask for?

It's set up with a DVD player, cable, and fast internet. Even if you bring teenagers, that will satisfy them! It was just me and my mother, but I noticed a pack n play in one of the closets. There are no stairs inside, and there's a bedroom with two twin beds. It would be completely suitable for a family with young children!

Not my first choice

  • 3 of 5

Without getting real critical there are some items at this cabin that need to be addressed:

the master bedroom needs a new mattress, it's like sleeping in a bowl, as soon as you get in bed you roll to the middle.

There need to be some written instruction on how to operate the gas fireplace and also the hot tub.

There are several lights out throughout the interior and exterior that should be replaced.

The living room furniture should be replaced as you can't sit in it without getting a crick in your neck, it must have come from Big Lots.

Owner's Response: Sorry that you were a bit disappointed. We have added a new mattress to master. The instruction for the fireplace used to be posted and somehow over time have been moved. Luckily we were able to send maintenance out for help. The living furniture to the best of my knowledge is a higher quality furniture but we will definitely take a look at that. We do our best to ensure customer satisfaction. Have a blessed Christmas and New Year. Thank you for staying with us!

Nice and Cozy

  • 3 of 5

The house was very nice on the inside. It had plenty of supplies for cooking and wifi and tv. The porch furniture was aging, but the hot tub was very nice and comforting, wish had some light out there though.

Our only complaint was the response for maintaince. We had an issue with water pressure, took whole day to fix which made showering tough. It was ultimately fixed though in the evening.

Not much outdoor room to play for the kids, but they seemed to enjoy playing in the dirt. :)

Exactly what we were looking for!!

  • 5 of 5

Pristine views from the entire property. We loved the views from the hot tub during the day. Our evenings were calming by the hot tub and fire pit. The home is nicely decorated, clean, and inviting. This is a very well-kept property and absolutely a steal for the price. It's location was great for all the activities we did such as Sliding Rock, Asheville, and Boone.

The house was clean, the Hot tub and fire pit were nice as well. We weren't in the house all that much but the house was stocked with basic necessities. The views are amazing and the access is quite easy. The property manager provided a quick response for this last minute getaway.

Melissa was terrific to work with. Very responsive and quick to answer any question.

The house was located perfectly for all the activities we wanted to do. And at night, the fire pit/hot tub combo made it easy to relax
