The Berry Patch - Thanksgiving Stay
This quiet, relaxing getaway is perfect for a couple—or even two couples—looking to unwind in comfort. The home is thoughtfully set up with two spacious king-sized bedrooms and two full bathrooms, making the layout both convenient and comfortable.
One of the highlights was how well-stocked the kitchen was. Nearly everything needed to cook a great meal was provided: pots and pans, utensils, dishes, a crock pot, and even a coffee pot for easy mornings. We also appreciated the small fenced-in backyard, which was perfect for pets, and the outdoor fireplace, which we didn't use this trip but would definitely be a wonderful feature for cooler evenings.
There are a few areas that could use some attention. The sleeper sofa is quite uncomfortable and would benefit from new cushions and perhaps an upgraded mattress for better support. A couple of small additions—like foil and plastic wrap in the kitchen, as well as a bundle of wood for the fireplaces—would add even more convenience and charm.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would happily return once the couch is repaired or upgraded. The Berry Patch has so much to love, and with just a couple of improvements, it could be even better!
