This was our second time here and we loved it just as much as the first. The location is stellar you just walk right out the door into downtown Salida. I would never choose anywhere else when we come every year. Jacqueline the owner is super easy to work with and very accommodating.

Artistic, welcoming and central

  • 5 of 5

Our family had so much fun in this funky, artistic loft in downtown Salida. The location could not have been better to venture to restaurants or the river. We didn't use the kitchen, but important items like a wine opener were available! There were plenty of beds for 4 kids and two adults; though not an ideal set up if privacy is important, which was not the case for our use. Also, there was not air conditioning, or operable windows, but lots of fans to at least get air flow moving.

Contemporary living and great location

My husband and I loved our visit to Salida. This contemporary, fun living space added to our trip. It was the perfect location in the middle of town and we could walk everywhere. We will be back!

Wonderful stay

  • 5 of 5

This condo is a funky, central spot to stay in Salida. You can walk everywhere in town from the condo and its about 25 minutes to Mt. Princeton hot springs. We enjoyed how open the condo is and there were plenty of clean blankets and towels. Overall a great stay and we will definitely be back!

Very cool property and a great location

  • 5 of 5

Wonderful location with a very fun Salida vibe in the interior. Parking was a little tough, as we stayed with two families and there is really only space for one car, so we had to move one back and forth when moving kids, but there is easy street parking really nearby. As mentioned, the kitchen is really tiny, which is OK and is made very clear at booking, but given the size of the space (it's huge!) would have been helpful to have some sort of counter space added, like a butcher's block or side table, in the kitchen area. We did actually cook a few meals there (breakfast and dinner) and it was a fairly well stocked kitchen so totally manageable -- the only hard part was there was no where to put things in the kitchen area. We stayed with 3 young kids and there were a few things that made it awesome and a few things that made it tough for young kids. The awesome items were that it was surprisingly child proof, as most furniture was tall enough that there wasn't a lot of "stuff" for toddlers to get in to or break. It was also really easy to clean the floors up as we went when crumbs were dropped (and the radiant heat was great). The tough part is that while the sliding walls are cool, they aren't sound proof, so our kids pretty much just stayed up until we went to bed because there wasn't a quiet dark space to put them to sleep in. So while there is plenty of space for a family (or two in our case) it isn't ideal given the lack of privacy. That being said, we loved that two of us could literally walk out the door and in to Amica's to wait for a table and then have the other adults bring the kids over as soon as our food was served! The location is incredible! Overall, we had a great time and recommend it for anyone looking for a fun, hip, place to stay in downtown Salida.

Fun in the heart of downtown Salida

  • 5 of 5

The loft was great overall - location is right in the middle of everything so you can walk to all of the local restaurants and shops. Very spacious overall - we slept 5 comfortably between the larger bed, bunk beds, and pull out couch. Because the place is open and close to restaurants, etc, just note it can be a little noisy from time to time if you're sensitive to that. Wasn't a problem for us. Overall we enjoyed the funky vibe of the place and it's definitely a place we'll have positive memories of staying in.
