This beautiful, renovated single-level home is situated off a private road on a sizable, private lot overlooking marsh and multiple palmettos. It is a peaceful, quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of Center Street, yet is only a short stroll both to the beach and a marina on the Folly River. It is a perfect accommodation for groups that would want a private oasis-like vacation experience.
The home’s name derives from its mix of Hawaiian, Balinese, and local island décor, wood flooring, area rugs and comfortable furnishings that make a perfect, soothing island getaway; yet make you feel immediately at home.
It has an open floor plan with the living room, dining room and beautiful gourmet kitchen. Guests will enjoy gathering in the living room in front of the fireplace and 60”flat screen television in the evenings after a long day at the beach; however, almost every room comes with its own flat screen television and DVD player. All three spacious bedrooms and two full baths are conveniently located on the same level.
Enjoy the spacious screened in deck off the dining room overlooking the marshes, palmettos, forest, and pool, and listen to the continuous sound of the waves breaking on the beach just beyond the trees. Just outside the screened in area is a gas BBQ for cookouts. The back stairway leads to the open-air, multi-car garage on the bottom, which in turn leads to a beautiful heated pool and wonderful patio and lounge area. It is also located very close to the Charleston County Park area that is one of only two small sections of beach watched by lifeguards in the summer months.
**$250 Pool Heating Fee Applies**
If you wish to have the pool heated, you must notify our office or log into your reservation and pay the fee prior to your arrival.

The vibe, location, privacy of this home, closeness to the beach/marina, but away from prying eyes is something you're not going to find in a condo/town-home. This particular home has a large lot, palmettos, room for a large pool, privacy, single level, remodeled and was readily available for our personal touches, and within a short walk to the beach/marina (you can hear the waves while sitting on the decks).
OWNERS: We feel it's important to tell guests that Aloha Breeze is NOT an investment property. We did not buy it to make a profit. It is truly our second home that we are sharing with guests until we move in it permanently in a few years. As such, we decorated it in our style, hoping that folks would appreciate the quality and thought that went into it. Many of the pieces reflect our travels around the world (i.e., the Balinese teak canoe shelf, Indonesian teak day-bed, Hawaiian quilts/artwork), and hope others can enjoy. Aloha!
This is a return visit, and as usual, my husband and I joined another couple at this wonderful house, and even though it poured buckets of rain off and on, we still felt like it was well worth the cost and stay. We've visited Hawaii quite a bit in the past, and "Aloha Breeze" lives up to its name. It's clear the management (owners?) keep this place in the best condition possible, and it felt more like a resort than a home. We will definitely be visiting again!
Wow. We were one of the first guests in this home, and I'm so glad we picked this one over "beach views". We could hear the waves crashing, and the beach access was a short walk away. They weren't kidding about the decor. Very island-like, and the pool wasn't a teeny-tiny one that seems to come in a lot of rentals. Everything seemed new! We'll definitely be coming here again. Oh yeah, the sunset colors were fantastic (guess we know why the road is Red Sunset)!
This home did not disappoint. The privacy of the area and indoor decor indeed made us feel like we were in an island oasis! Huge kitchen with chef quality gas stove, and cozy living room area. The guest bedrooms had a real island vibe and the master suite --- awesome! The pool and pool deck area was the absolute best. Thankfully the mid-November weather cooperated!
My husband and I and our two dogs enjoyed our stay at this lovely house by the beach. The home has a huge kitchen, will everything we needed for our stay. The rooms were all a good size, and the master bath was huge! The walk-in closet was a surprise! We were able to enjoy the evenings and the afternoons it rained on the screened-in porch. The fenced backyard was also perfect for our dogs. This home is located off a private road about a block from the access to the beach, which was extremely convenient. It is also located by the river, with unbelievable sunset views. The only reason we gave this four stars instead of five is that we were not able to use the pool much. It rained most every afternoon we were there, and so the pool got dirty. I called the rental company a couple days into our stay, and they sent someone out to clean the pool, but it was dirty again by the next day. We requested that the pool be cleaned again, but it never was. I would think with the price of rental for the week that pool cleaning would be included but it wasn't. Other than the pool issue, we loved this home!
This beautiful home is quietly tucked down a gravel road only a quarter mile walk to the nearest beach access. Across the street is the Folly River. Walk down the road towards the river and you will find the Sunset Cay Marina, with unparalleled views where the Folly River meets the Atlantic.
