Chico Peak cabin near Yellowstone and Chico Hot Springs
One bedroom apartment attached to what once was a historic log bar now an art gallery and frame shop. The gallery is closed at this time. The apartment is spacious, about 500 sq ft with sliding door opening to a large deck with table and chairs, propane BBQ, and views of mountains. Lounge chairs are available in the warmer months. It is an ideal location, so close to Chico Hot Springs, 4-5 restaurants and bars, fishing, hiking and the quaint western town of Livingston!
It is in a picturesque location and is clean and charming. The bed is comfy and has a sliding door opening to an 8` x 24` deck and a wonderful view of the mountains and also is private from other homes and the road. There is a large `L` shaped country kitchen that has a love seat and end table as well as the dining table with seating for 4 and a corner cabinet offering storage of kitchen serving dishes, etc. There is a full-sized washer and dryer with laundry soap and dryer sheets provided. There is no separate living room. The tariff varies by time of year. We have a portable AC unit is vented to the outside.
Washer, dryer, deck, table and chairs, and all the amenities of your own kitchen, gas BBQ with propane provided. All paper products, kitchen staples and an abundance of spices are included! Also, Starlink WIFI and Dishnet satellite tv with lots of channels. Also a campfire pit with firewood, in reasonable amounts.
Slight. Our co-host, Melissa, and backup, Steve, are available by phone or text or by sending a message through the app.
I love the town of Pray! The town is really a wide spot in the road with a post office, art gallery, hair salon, surrounded by ranches and small acreages. The historic Chico Hot Springs is two miles away with its hot springs pool, Saloon, fine Dining Room and Poolside Grille. Other restaurants and bars or saloons are in the area, within ten minutes drive. The mountains are ten thousand feet high and are always beautiful. Horses frolic in pastures and there could be a cattle drive going on right on the road. Yellowstone is 35 minutes away. Emigrant is 3 miles away for a wonderful selection of groceries, even organic.
Car or bike is necessary. Horses are welcome too!
Starlink Wifi is available and new Roku 43` smart tv offer an abundance of satellite tv stations and streaming your favorite service. BBQ and a kitchen stocked with the basics awaits you! Ketchup, mustard, steak sauce, hot sauce, vinegars, extra virgin olive oil or other oil, usually a salad dressing or two and basic paper products are provided for you! HOUSE RULES

The place was perfect for my husband and I! The space was quaint and had everything we needed and more! Gorgeous views of the mountains. Will definitely stay here again.
We both enjoyed our stay very much. Great location, beautiful scenery, convenient to a variety of restaurants, very comfortable, fantastic hosts! Can’t wait to stay again.
Everything was as described. The view was beautiful. Close to Chico which is what we wanted. After check out we drove through Yellowstone park, in the snow. Saw some animals including a moose (bucket list). Perfect short get away for our anniversary!

The view was incredible and the property was very centrally located. It was easy to get to Yellowstone and also Bozeman and Gardiner.
I had such a great stay in the Chico Peak Cabin! It was exactly as described and was impeccably clean and tidy. Vicky was great to work with and very responsive. The location is great; close to Yellowstone, Livingston, and Bozeman. It was a wonderful stay!!
The perfect get away spot with wonderful mountain views and my dog loved the outdoor yard space as well! Very welcoming and home like, the homemade dog treats were a great bonus as well! Would recommend to anyone!
This place was the perfect retreat after a long day in Yellowstone. The beautiful scenery made our morning coffee on the patio memorable. Thank you so much for sharing this gorgeous spot with us.
I fell in love with this valley in 1993 and moved here to work in a Guest Ranch for the summer of 1994. Met my husband, Gary, that summer at age 39, and the rest is history. Left the hectic lifestyle as a real estate agent in Bellevue, Washington, and discovered that I had a creative side that needed to be awakened by my artist, husband. Bought the old Pray Bar, added on an 1800 square foot gallery and frame shop and settled in! We have two shitzu's, Kopi and Jessie, that assist in running the gallery, while Gabe, a deer-headed chihuahua, keeps me entertained at home managing the vacation rentals and the marketing details with the gallery!
Why they chose this property
It was a charming space in a town called Pray with a beautiful view and so close to Yellowstone! It answered my call for simplicity!
What makes this property unique
Totally self-contained but near restaurants and Chico Hot Springs, as well as the fishing, hiking in the immediate area and 35 minutes to Yellowstone Park, yet only 30 minutes to the perfectly sized town of Livingston! For more extensive shopping and entertainment, the college town of Bozeman is delightful!
