El lado izquierdo de la casa cuenta con una sala de estar con acceso a la terraza frente al mar y una mesa de billar de tamaño completo. También hay dos dormitorios en este lado de la casa. Un dormitorio tiene una cama de matrimonio y acceso a una sala de baño. El otro dormitorio se encuentra en el segundo nivel y tiene dos camas matrimoniales, un baño privado y un altillo que da a la sala de estar con una cama queen sofá-cama. Hay pantalla plana LCD TV en cada dormitorio y en toda la casa.

Usted puede relajarse en el lujo en su amplia terraza y refrescarse en su piscina privada. Las hermosas playas con poca gente no puede ser mejor. Amazing Vacation House

This property was perfect for our group of 4 adults, 3 teens, and 2 kids. The large pool was very nice. The balconies provided amazing views and great gathering spots. Added touches like the water dispenser, lots of beach towels and chairs, and 2 washer/dryers were much appreciated. The property manager and owner were great.

We brought our (6) adult children and our granddaughter (1) for a week’s stay. We had a great time. The house was and had everything we needed! Equipped to max!Marc and Paul were fantastic. Great Place to Vacation

Absolutely a wonderful place to vacation. Marc and Paul, the owners/manager were wonderful. The view of the ocean and beach is fantastic. The pool was oversized and the kids were always wanting to swim.

Thanks for staying with us Tim and for taking great care of the house. Spring and early summer, Hilton Head may see 'Cannon Ball' Jelly fish in the waters and washing up on our beaches. However, they don't sting! Taken from experience in my 29 years of swimming in our waters and having friends and loved ones throw them on me :)

Wonderful ocean front home for families

We had a wonderful week on Hilton Head and this home was very comfortable, lots of amenities, and lots of space to spread out! Highly recommend the Low Country Boil by Paul! Paul and Owner have great recommendations for things to do and restaurants!

Great experience

We had a great weeklong stay at 8 Wanderer. The hosts were very responsive and have thought of all the things! Inside, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well-stocked with utensils, cookware, and spices. The pool is spacious and very nice and there are plenty of chairs and toys/games for the beach. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would definitely come back in the future.

Family Vacation

We had a great family vacation in this home. Almost everything you could need is provided. It was a great place for everyone to have their own space. The older kids enjoyed the pool table and everyone enjoyed the extra large pool. There were lots of pool toys and plenty of beach towels were provided. We would highly recommend this vacation home!

Perfect Family Getaway!

This is an awesome house and you cannot beat the pool deck! The owner and the manager were very responsive and have thought of everything that a typical family would need, including bikes and beach towels! The kitchen is well stocked with supplies and everything else you can imagine! All you need to provide is the food. Highly recommend!

Fun Property

This was a fantastic rental for our needs. The wide lot is unique to the area which allows for a much larger pool than all of our neighbors! The provided toys, bikes, and kitchenware was a fantastic perk. The hosts were accommodating and very attentive. Would highly recommend and is nice for two family's looking to stay together.

Great location

House was great for multiple families and range of ages (5 to 73). Shortest walk to beach we have had in rental house on HHI. Mark/Dave were great about making sure we had everything we needed (had beach towels on day of arrival so we could use pool/beach while cleaning finished - this was an awesome perk). Also had a firepit and provided firewood. Heated the pool and was well worth it as all enjoyed it the entire week.

A lovely winter break from COVID cabin fever

The very best thing about this lovely property is the view and location. It was cool (naturally) in January but the giant floor to ceiling windows and toasty heated pool brought the sea to us. Great restaurants and retail are all nearby but out of sight. We felt free to be outside for long walks and bike rides leaving winter virus worries behind. Property owner Marc was very attentive.

Wow- absolutely awesome!

Plenty of room for all 9 (our five adult children, son-in-law and granddaughter) of us! Beautiful view of the ocean from nearly every room- two refrigerator/freezers and washer/dryers just made it all run smoothly - loved the option of pool and beach- having bikes, beach chairs, beach towels provided was an added ease to moving into vacation mode. Truly everything I could have hoped our family vacation could be! Paul was just a phone call away if we had any questions or concerns- awesome hospitality- quickly became our home away from home☀️

Another Spectacular Stay

We were repeat visitors to this home and I must say the second time was even better than the first. Marc and Paul treat their guests like family and everything gets taken care of immediately. A new toaster was requested and we had it within hours. The Low Country Boil was one of the highlights of the trip with my family. My new favorite perch in the house is off the upstairs master where I spent hours observing the dolphin and the birds. Hilton Head has so much to offer and 8 Wanderer Lane is the perfect home base. Thank you again for being such fabulous hosts.

Awesome Amenities right on the beach!

The house was well equipped for babies and toddlers items needed! (2Pack-N-Plays, baby bathtub and 2 high chairs) There were several baby gates, but a few were broken. Lots of baby gates needed due to a lot of stairs in the house. The manager and the owner checked in on us and took great care for us to have a great week. Lots of bikes available and other useful amenities! It’s a great find!!

Hesitant Husband !

My husband had pretrip doubts about a beach front home in Hilton Head for our family of nine. In his words… “Too expensive and I don’t play golf”. WOW, one step onto the back deck and he changed his mind. The view alone is fabulous and our entire group spent a full week Swimming (pool and ocean), biking, exploring and reconnecting. We can’t wait to return !!

Family vacation

We really enjoyed our stay at 8 Wanderer and have booked to come back again! The weather was not perfect, but this spacious home, with its comfortable beds, and ocean views made up for this! As a large family with young adults and teenagers, there was plenty of space for everyone. We enjoyed the pool table, hot tub, fire pit, bikes, as well as the large family room and screened in porch. The property was extremely well stocked with all the necessities - many pots and pans/coffee makers/spices/garbage bags/cleaning wipes/paper towels/paper plates etc. etc. Marc and Paul made sure we knew they were available for anything, and popped by to check in person that we were settled. It was comforting to know that they were just a call/text away when we had any questions. The only possible thing that could be improved would be replacing a couple of well used items that are beginning to show their age. We had a wonderful, relaxing family vacation at this property and are looking forward to returning soon!

This home is perfect for either a large family or several couples

We had 8 Adults and 6 children(under4) for the week. The home’s bedrooms are separated so each room has privacy from the other bedrooms. The living area is large easily accommodating a large group. The kitchen is nice and having to full size refrigerators was perfect. The home has windows galore all with a view of the ocean and outdoor pool. There is a screened porch. a wrap around the rear outdoor deck allows for the kids to play safely as it is 1 floor up from the pool deck. There is an upper deck off one of the master bedrooms which provides a great view above the dunes and the ocean. The beach is less than 50yds and just an easy walk over the dunes. The beach is not crowded as the house is not close to Coligny or the Shipyard beach access. Dave Bauman The owner and his manager are wonderful to work with and we’re available for any questions. The house is 1.2 miles from Coligny’s shops and restaurants and 1.5 miles from the “Sandbox” children’s center and a great play park. It is a perfect setting for a great week.

Great First Time Oceanfront Location

Overall, we had a great stay at this property. This was our first time renting oceanfront and it was the perfect choice for our family of 7-8 adults (could have added more as there was plenty of space). Beautiful views from lots of places in the house. The main balcony is spacious and well furnished with a gas grill, boiling pot, dining tables and chairs. The uppermost balcony (off one of the two master bedrooms) had a spectacular view and was perfect for morning coffee. The pool was quite the luxury and made for a great place to relax and cool off when the beach got too hot in the mid-day. The pool deck area had 8 new lounge chairs that were very nice, and there were plenty of beach chairs and 8 bikes available for our use. The fire pit was well-situated for a relaxing evening campfire. The kitchen is a bit small, and its one single entry point made it difficult for multiple people to enter and use. The house, and it’s furnishing is a bit dated, but in someways that made it an even more relaxing place to just hang out. The property manager and owner were easy to access and communicate with should the need arise. Couldn’t say better things about the location on Hilton Head. We’ve been to the Island many times and we usually stay in Sea Pines, which we love. This was our first time staying North of Coligny Circle. We were concerned it would feel too far removed from the places we loved, but the setting was so beautiful that we seldom felt the need to even leave the property.

beautiful deck with a beautiful view

The house was very nice and large enough to easily accommodate 14 of us. The decks gave a perfect view up high to overlook the pool and the ocean. All updated bathrooms, large kitchen, panoramic view from inside, game room with a second kitchen, close to Coligny. We did have issues with the dishwasher, which the owners knew about before we arrived and one of the dryers didn't dry towels after 2 hours of running. Other issues were that the amenities listed were not exactly correct, but Jesse and Marc did bring us a 10x10 beach canopy after we called about it. There is only 1 working toddler bike carrier, not 2, although there are plenty of sizes of bikes, including a tandem. So nice not to have to rent. My recommendation would be for an owner to live in his rental home for 1 week out of the year to realize what repairs need done and which things need replaced. I feel that would cut down on a lot of phone calls back and forth between renter and owner. We made several calls to Marc and Jesse which they responded to immediately, but I wish I hadn't had to for the amount of money being charged for renting. All in all, it was a great week, beautiful home, and accommodating owners. Would I rent the same home again? Possibly yes; now knowing what questions to ask in advance.

Hi Linda, Thanks for taking the time to post a review. It was great to meet you and your family. As we go into a new season our houses are 100% perfect as we have the luxury of the offseason to examine the houses in detail and make sure all is perfect. When the season starts and we are hosting group after group the luxury of taking the time for an in depth inspection is not possible as we only have 6 hours to prepare the house for the next guest. We rely very heavily on our guests to bring any issues to our attention and our pledge is to respond quickly to correct. Our mission is to provide you the best vacation you can have and while apparently it was a good vacation, we'll just have to work harder to make sure it's the best.... should you decide to return. BEDBUGS - beware

The master bedroom had bedbugs. MANY bedbugs. They had been there some time to build up that size colony. We discovered the bites AFTER having slept there. My daughter has scars on her body from bedbug bites. Her hands were so swollen she missed work after we got back. 4 families had monetary, physical, mental and emotional consequences of exposure to a problem in this home. Homeowner was asked to refund our money based on everything we went through after this happened, but felt he did enough in having the fumigator take all the furniture out of the room in question and return it the next day after they debugged it. He gave us a small amount of money while we were there to buy clothes to wear (since they had to confiscate all the ones in that room), dog supplies and personal belongings to replace what they could not spray and to use while all our stuff was at exterminator and felt that was enough to make up for it. He refuses our requests for a refund even though VBRO has suggested he give us a refund. I sent him pictures of the bites that more than one person in our family were suffering from even long after we returned home. I explained we could not treat certain things and had to pay more money to replace them after coming home. He doesn't care one bit, his wallet is his decision maker and he doesn't want to lose money on the week no matter what we went through. BUYER BEWARE.

This was a very, very nice family, unfortunately Deb’s narrative did not accurately describe the events of the week. The family checked in on Saturday and I stopped in on Sunday to check on them and everything was wonderful. We did not hear from them on Monday or Tuesday and I got a call on Wednesday night at 8:30-9:00 and when I asked if they wanted us to come by to check out the problem we were told to come the next morning. I showed up at 9:00 am and my exterminators were there at 9:15. After a careful inspection of all 5 bedrooms we found a downstairs bedroom to have an infestation and removed all the furniture and personal items and took them away for sanitizing. At that time I offered to upgrade the family to another oceanfront home (that offer was refused) and gave Deb a check for $1,000.00 (that was accepted) to compensate her for the inconvenience. At this point I called vrbo for guidance and was told by 2 different representatives that the steps I had taken had exceeded the vrbo protocol for this situation and no further refund was recommended. While I know for certain that I did not introduce the infestation, there remains the possibility that It came from a prior guest, except neither of the 2 prior weeks guests had any issues. The other possibility is that it came in on a piece of luggage from Deb’s group, but we will never know. I think that anyone that reads the 69 5 star reviews we have received from our guests over the past few years, coupled with the fact that we have a 60% ratio of returning guests will have a clear understanding of our commitment to an outstanding vacation for our guests. Anything less is unacceptable, unfortunately a total refund was not appropriate nor would it have made the guest any happier.

Amazing Vacation

This was our family’s first time visiting Hilton Head and we had an absolutely amazing stay at this property. The location can not be beat! Staying right on the beach was a dream. The views were gorgeous and spending hours relaxing on the screened in porch with views of the ocean was perfect. We definitely utilized all the house had to offer from the large living area to the pool table to the bikes. Paul went above and beyond, providing us with information about fishing spots and great restaurants as well as securing passes to fish in certain areas. If you have the opportunity we definitely recommend taking him up on his offer to prepare a low-country boil! It was such a fun and delicious experience. Marc, the owner of the property, checked in on us at the beginning of our stay to make sure we were comfortable and followed up on our last day as well. This trip was planned last minute since our normal vacation spot was not available and we were NOT disappointed. The trip was so successful that we are already considering our return visit next year!

Perfect!

This is our second annual girl's trip at this property and can't say enough great things about the hosts Marc and Paul and the house. Location is perfect, has something for everyone whether it's going to the beach (chairs provided btw....), lounging by or in the pool or just finding a quiet spot to read a book, this has it. We heated the pool this time around and it was worth every penny - was perfect temperature! Long list of amenities provided so you really don't have to worry about anything at all. Marc and Paul were fabulous hosts and were available for any and all things if needed. We are looking forward to returning for our next trip! ~Carrie E

Wonderful House

You cannot get much better than this house! It has everything you will need for a wonderful beach stay. The outdoor areas are exceptional and the ocean views are 💯. We will definitely be back!
