Beautiful and relaxing Napili Shores Resort rests on the leeward side of West Maui at the south end of Napili Bay. Because the resort is a small community of low-rise two-story buildings, it provides a cozy, family atmosphere with hints of old Hawaii in its lush, tropical landscaped gardens that stretch over the 6 acre resort to the oceanfront. There’s ample parking for resort residents and a reception desk (open 8am to 10pm) that can also assist you in making activity/tour reservations.
With a splendid view of the beckoning Pacific Ocean and the remote island of Molokai, this fully-furnished oceanfront studio makes the perfect private vacation home. You’ll discover one of Maui’s most spectacular views from your own oceanfront lanai listening to the soothing ocean waves, getting a glimpse of the humpback whales in season or marvelling at a gorgeous starry night.
The spacious north-facing lanai, fully-equipped kitchen, cable TV, ceiling fans, telephone with voicemail and free local calls, free hard wired internet and WiFi, complimentary poolside morning coffee, and sleeping accommodations for up to four people provide you with a comfortable, convenient residence that you can call your own. You’ll also discover the resort’s many luxurious amenities such as the two free-form swimming pools, jacuzzi, gas-fired BBQ grills and picnic area, and restaurants.
Direct beach access from Condo A-106 lets you wander down to the Pacific for snorkeling, swimming, sea turtle sightings, sun tanning and magnificent sunsets. On-site croquet, shuffleboard, and giant checkers will also entertain the kids (and the kid in all of us).
The Kapalua championship golf-course and tennis courts are within walking distance, and just a 15 minute drive away is the town of Lahaina offering many more restaurants, shops and activities. Your stay at Napili Shores A-106 will allow you to discover all the magic and adventure that Maui has to offer while letting you enjoy the privacy, convenience and comforts of a fully-furnished home.
Napili Shores is a convenient and scenic 35 mile drive from the Kahului Airport or two mile drive from the Kapalua West Maui Airport.
This was the perfect vacation spot with access to all the amenities we needed; and the sounds of the ocean were included. The local markets and restaurants were great and we were happy to eat out or cook if we felt like it. The condo was set up for the perfect get away~ and we found trails to different beaches nearby that kept us exploring. We saw turtles, whales, geckos and various birds. I recommend this peaceful and comfortable condo, I will go back!
This site was wonderful: perfectly located close to the parking lot, the beach access gate and the Gazebo restaurant, with the ocean in the backyard. Cozy condo has been recently remodeled; it's warm and inviting, and very comfortable. Peaceful and quiet, it was the perfect getaway spot. Can't wait to return!
This might be the best unit on the property. It is an upgraded ocean front corner unit with easy beach access. I had neighbors all week and did not hear very much of their noise at all, the walls and ceiling are well insulated, perfect for relaxation and if you're busy like me... SLEEP! There is walking traffic to and from the beach and the sand rinse faucets are right near by but there is still more than enough privacy because of the way the hedges are arranged surrounding the unit. Finally, if you want wildlife, we saw whales every day and could have reached out and touched the turtles. Next time I stay at Napili I am looking to book this unit first, and I would recommend it to anyone!
Napili Shores property is a great little resort to go to and get away and relax. Lots of snorkeling just out the door and more whales than we could count! Loved every minute!
This is a beautiful spot on a fantastic beach, and we loved listening to the sound of the waves crashing every night. The condo is very small as others have noted but renovated nicely and well set-up. We enjoyed the swimming pools at Napili Shores and the property itself is well maintained. The manager was very helpful and accommodated our late check-out. My only complaint is that the mattress on the bed was thin and cheap and extremely uncomfortable for both my husband and me. I have never had back problems before, nor problems with mattresses in other places we've stayed, but both of us had really restless sleep and would wake up in pain. Time for an upgrade to a hotel quality mattress, please!
My wife and I and our two kids ages 9 and 11, loved the condo. As promised, it was all recently tastefully updated and we found it very clean. The bathroom was very nice with a double sink, a large shower with double showerheads, a large closet and many drawers for storage. The kitchen was also very nice and very well stocked with everything you might need, including a good blender which we used to make smoothies. The beds were comfortable. One was a regular bed, which my wife and I used and one right next to it was a pull out. In terms of space, it was a bit tight, but we knew that in advance. I don't think I would do it with two adult couples. But it works fine for a couple with young children.
One of the best parts of the condo is the location. It is literally steps away from Napili Bay which is one of the best swimming beaches in Maui. Very safe swimming for the kids, although given its popularity, we found it to be crowded. We also very much enjoyed making dinner and having it on the Lanai watching the ocean view. The lanai is great because it is fairly private. It has a hedge on one end, and grass in front that is shared by 5 or 6 condos so it is almost like having a semi private ocean front retreat.
My kids loved the banana macadamia nut pancakes at the Gazebo, and my wife and I loved the club sandwiches and the fried rice.
We were pleased to find 4 boogie boards (in varying levels of condition), 2 very nice beach chairs, a very nice beach umbrella and 4 very nice beach towels.
There is no maid service though, so if you are staying for an extended period, you may want to do some laundry. The laundry facilities on site were easy to use and clean.
Thank you Doug for sharing your wonderful condo with us.
