⭐️FABULOUS-WATERFRONT⭐️3bdrm 2bth. Kayaks & Firepit⭐️

This fabulous cottage features a bright open floor plan with sliders that open out to 2 beautiful patios looking out over Follins Pond, the headwaters of the Bass River. If you're feeling adventurous, you can take a kayak out to the Nantucket Sound.

The open concept great room has beautiful views and breezes, comfy seating, a gas burning fireplace and a large flat screen TV.

There is a large master with a king size bed, gas fireplace and sitting room, a second room with a twin over full bunk and a spiral staircase leading up to a big beautiful room with a queen bed. There is a full bathroom downstairs & a full bathroom upstairs.

The kitchen has a microwave, stove and dishwasher. There is also a convenient stackable washer/dryer.

Eat outdoors on the beautiful Trex deck or relax on the lower level patio with your morning coffee or evening glass of wine.

Relax, swim or kayak off your private floating dock!!

Pet fee is an additional $50 per stay, except for weekly stays when it is $100 per stay.

The property is located on a beautiful pond/lake close to many restaurants and things to do. The house is set up with everything that you need and more. All of the windows and sliding glass doors made going out onto the multiple decks and enjoying every bit of the scenery possible. Whether you want to stay in or go around the coast, this property really lets you enjoy the Cape with ease. The host, Meg is great at communication and goes well above and beyond to make your stay easy. We can't wait to stay at this property again!

The photos don’t do the property justice. The view is excellent and the home is clean, well-appointed and comfortable. The kayaks were a great treat to use and the entire process and communication with the host was smooth. Make sure you enjoy a slow morning and sunset on the Adirondack chairs by the dock. My wife and I saw a seal float on by as the sun was going down. Even better- the home is in the middle of it all. The location of the house gives you equidistant access to almost anything you could want from sandwich to orleans. Beyond that, up the cape, it starts to become a 35 minute drive - but that’s fine if you’re going up for the day! Highly recommend, don’t hesitate to book if this one is available for your dates! We thought the price was well worth it.

This was our 3rd stay at Sunset Cottage; it was even nicer than we remembered. The views of the lake from the picture windows, the outer dining table, the firepit sitting area and dock were amazing.

Wonderful Cottage

We loved our stay at Meg's place. The house is lovely, comfortable and very well equipped, it's location is great and communication with the host was smooth. We enjoyed amazing views of the pond while having our morning coffee on the dock and while having dinners on the deck.

Excellent home base for Cape Cod

This was our first trip to Cape Cod. This was a perfect place for our home base. Communication with Meg was absolutely wonderful. Very clean and the beds were so comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay here if we returned.

Lovely Cottage

Sunset Cottage was a beautiful and peaceful place to enjoy a week in June. The house was spotless and beautifully decorated, with special touches that added to our comfort. High quality linens, well equipped kitchen, kayaks for our use all added to our enjoyment. As travelers with a small dog, we so appreciated the dog supplies, and our little guy settled in quickly and happily. The proximity to many of our favorite spots in the area made for easy access and provided everything we needed.

My husband and I live in Rhinebeck New York with our two loveable dogs surrounded by friends and family. We both work in mental health and find that the Cape is a perfect place to find peace of mind.

Why they chose this property

My husband and I have very good friends who have been raving about the Cape for years. When we finally spent some time at their home, we too fell in love with the beautiful beaches, charming villages, sweet ponds and friendly people. It's really hard to leave, but it makes us feel happy to know that others are enjoying it when we can't.

What makes this property unique

Sunset Cottage is situated so beautifully on Follins Pond and has an A frame design and spiral staircase that we couldn't resist. The neighborhood is so peaceful and quiet, but close by to great beaches, shops, trails and restaurants.
