Perfect Return Visit

We fell in love with The Holiday House and Green Mountain Falls five years ago. We decided to make a return trip and we weren’t disappointed. The house and the town are just as amazing as we had remembered it to be.

An Amazing little getaway!

Perfect quiet mountain setting getaway for 2! Loved the modern updates of this house. Everything was perfect. GMF was a nice friendly area & hope to return again for some hiking & more exploring of this quaint mountain town.

Beautiful

The property was kepts very clean for when we arrived. The house was perfect for our needs as it was just my wife and I. The place was very cozy and located in a very lovely town in green mountain falls. Highly recommend! And take a trip to The Pantry for breakfast one morning. Great food and people!

We LOVED Holiday House! The interior is a refreshing alternative to the typical log furniture and quilt blankets common to most mountain rentals. We could not have been more pleased with the accommodations or more appreciative of the responsiveness and helpfulness of the owner. We enjoyed a stress free wonderful weekend!

Perfect Getaway

What an amazing time we had! Perfect house with the perfect location.we even Had a deer greet us on arrival ❤️ Everything was very clean! We loved walking to the Blue Moose for Friday night karaoke HAD A BLAST! Loved walking to the Pantry for brunch... amazing food! You’ve thought of everything when it comes to this perfect little mountain house! We will definitely be back!

Modern Dollhouse

The photos are true - the owner did a wonderful job with the look of the cottage. The bathroom on the main level and bedroom up a spiral staircase combined with a very low couch made this a bit less desirable for a couple of oldsters. A/C is only in BR, but even in August, that was not a big problem in breezy Green Mt. Falls. We're kitchen people, and would have liked it better stocked, at the price point. Don't miss Bones and Stones in town - full of lovely work by local artists.

Cozy house, convenient location

This cute little house felt like home and was so cozy to spend the week in. It truly felt like we were in a snow globe on the few days it snowed. The location is so convenient and close enough to things as well.

The perfect getaway in the mountains!

We have nothing but positive things to say about this property and its manager! Holiday House was charming and modern. We loved the pond, hearing the geese in the mornings, and walking around the neighborhood in the evenings. You really get the feel of being in the mountains with all the city conveniences since Woodland Park is a short drive away. When we had questions, the property manager Jesse was very quick to respond via text message and was extremely helpful. We can't recommend this place enough. You have to experience it for yourself!

Great Romantic Getaway

My partner and I had an amazing stay, we wish we could have stayed longer! Loved being in our own space, we enjoyed walking around town. When we had a question about the fireplace we had multiple people working the property reach out to make sure it was answered. We hope to return!

THE ABSOLUTE BEST STAY EVER

We came to Green Mountain Falls to have our wedding at Gazebo in Park. When planning our trip and wedding we had no idea that the Holiday House and Host would be so amazing and play such a huge part in pulling our big day off. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was flawless along with assisting with our wedding plans. I can thank this host and their maintenance team enough for all they did to help us pull off this wonderful weekend. I highly recommend anyone is staying in Green Mountain Falls to find one of this hosts properties. They are beautiful and again so accommodating.

Holiday house is a great place to stay. The small town of Green Mountain Falls is welcoming and picturesque. The location is convenient to all amenities with hiking trail heads in the town. Will definitely stay here again

Unique mountain home

Exactly as pictures depicted. I would have given a 5 star rating except for a couple issues. The television didn't work. Would have been nice to watch for a bit on a day we got rained out. Microwave didn't work until maintenance man came to reset a breaker. This rental costs way too much to have things that don't work.

Wonderful little Mountain Cottage

Property looked exactly like the pictures posted. Owner/host quick to reply with questions. They aren't lying when they say you don't need to bring anything but clothing and yourself. I am notorious for not having enough pillows and blankets, so I brought my own; I never needed them. I also always travel with hair dryer and shampoo etc, I didn't need them, they were provided. Plenty of things to do in the area. Bed was comfy. Fire place cozy. Kitchen stocked with tools and some basic seasonings as well as coffee with coffee pot AND a French press. It was the perfect anniversary getaway for us. Our only complaints was the TV is upstairs and the half glass in the shower doesn't stop the water enough.

Cozy cabin. Extremely clean. Furnishings in the cabin were excellent. Minutes from Colorado Springs and Pikes Peak. Absolutely enjoyable place to stay on vacation.

Hidden Gem!

The Holiday House was a perfect getaway! The home is very comfortable and cozy and the upstairs bedroom is plenty spacious. Decor and furnishings are well thought out and very tasteful. The kitchen is a bit tight, but has everything you need - we cooked 4 meals over two days with no issue. The cookware and silverware/utensils could use a little upgrade, but again everything you need is there. The 900 SF space is used efficiently and was perfect for a couple. The pictures in the listing are very accurate. The small town center is a very short walk away (>5 min.) and there are plenty of trailheads close by as well. We were very happy with our stay and will definitely be back!

I wanted to Love it, but...

First impression was good, but after getting settled and being there for a bit we experienced some discomforts that made us disappointed in our choice. 1) The mattress was NOT comfortable at all and we did not sleep very well. 2) My husband wished there was a more comfortable couch and TV downstairs. 3) The bathroom was nicely remodeled, but when you shower water gets all over the floor because there is only glass that covers 2 foot of the shower. Definitely annoying having to clean up water after every shower! 4) It would have been really nice if there was a mirror or vanity upstairs. The bathroom has a pedestal sink which made it difficult to get ready in such a small space and the only full length mirror is in the bathroom as well. Overall the Cottage was nice, clean, and had a well stocked kitchen, I just wish we had enjoyed it more.

Most adorable cabin, clean & close to activities

The CUTEST little cabin I have ever seen! Very clean and loaded with everything you need. Full kitchen with coffee (which was in the fridge and we accidentally bought more!), pots and pans, wine glasses, even a mini dishwasher. Especially grateful for the mini bottle of lotion because my hands were SO dry! The gas fireplace may have been our favorite feature, warmed up the whole downstairs during our fall stay. Very quiet, relaxing neighborhood tucked into the mountains but still close to everything. About a 15 minute drive to groceries, garden of the gods and red rock canyon open space. The management company was quick to respond back to my messages and even came to the rescue when we locked ourselves out. Beware, the door knob automatically locks! Overall, we loved everything about this cabin and will have to find an excuse to come back again soon!

Cute cottage in a quaint town

Easy to check-in and out: in current COVID environment, was able to "socially distance" from everything here! This was exactly what we needed. Could be more descriptive about amenities (had to ask about coffeemaker, and it was different than described), but this is a minor complaint! Will come back here if we're ever in the area again.
