So beautiful, a perfect fit!
We did a girls weekend away at this absolutely beautiful cabin. It’s the perfect place for any group looking to spend quality time and connection. It fosters a sense of peace and calmness. Although it was very hot ourside rhe shady cabin stays a great temp, especially at night! The basement even gets pretty cold at night! We were nervous about no AC but I wouldn’t sweat it. Bring a face mask if you’re a light sleeper, there are no curtains or blinds but who cares, you’re a ways away from anyone so just lean into it and enjoy the seclusion!! There’s such a cute bear in the corner that we named Bobby, miss you Bobby!!!

Great time in Traverse City
My whole family stayed in the cabin in July 2024. Had a great time. Plenty of room for all 10 of us. All 4 of the grandkids stayed in one room with 4 bunks and had a great time watching movies every night before bed. Plenty of room for together time and plenty of space to have alone time. The clearing in the woods is beautiful but the property is a little remote. Will take you some time driving anywhere you’re going. The kids are ready to go back!

Peaceful log cabin retreat
Overall, this is a beautiful and well kept cabin but definitely in the outskirts of Traverse City; however, it is a pretty easy drive into the city. We enjoyed our stay and the cabin was well equipped with everything we needed. My only complaints would be that there was nothing covering the windows (no blinds or curtains, which was a little odd) and also just be aware that the roads to get to the cabin are "seasonal" so they are not paved roads.

Awesome cabin
Our family really enjoyed our stay at the property. Just wish the sprinklers didn't come on in the evening when we were enjoying the sunset and fire pit.

Unique Woodland Cabin
We stayed here with six adults and three children (age 9-11), and it worked very well for us. We were able to easily visit Traverse City, Suttons Bay, Leland, and Sleeping Bear Dunes, and the cabin as a good place to relax when we weren't out and about. The kids amused themselves running around in the yard. It is a bit remote, but that is part of what makes it distinctive. If I could recommend any improvement, it would be window covers, but we really had no major complaints.

Our Michigan family vacation
This cabin was perfect for our family getaway! It is a great location to use as a homebase to explore all the beautiful scenery that northern Michigan has to offer. It's secluded and a very peaceful place to stay. Everyday after our fun filled adventures, we came back to the cabin for a lovely fire on the back patio. The cabin has all the amenities needed for a wonderful visit. We would definitely stay here again if visiting the area in the future.

Secluded but close to town
We stayed at this property for the annual marathon in Traverse City. It was secluded, but not too far from everything! The master was wonderful and the kitchen was very well equipped! The fire pit and outside area was very nice. The owners were very responsive. Thank you!

Well stocked secluded cabin
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin! We’ve stayed at several VRBOs and this one was the most well stocked we’ve seen. Almost everything we needed was already there. We had one issue with the washing machine which was fixed promptly. As others have said, window coverings would be nice even though it is secluded. We had 5 kids and 7 adults and had plenty of room even on a rainy day.

Nice cabin. Would recommend
Stayed here with our adult children their spouses and a couple grandkids. The layout was perfect for everyone to be able to be together and have their own personal space as well. The cabin was well stocked with anything you would need to prepare your meals. The outside had a great area to play or hang out. Be prepared for the water sprinklers to come on. The sprinklers caught us off guard. lol. We enjoyed our stay.

A cozy little cabin
We had a wonderful and peaceful stay at the secluded cabin. There were 9 of us looking for some family together time and this cabin was great for that! The kitchen was stocked with anything you would ever need, and the fire pit was wonderful.

Perfect place for a large group to stay!
This cabin is absolutely amazing! The quality and craftsmanship in this home is just stunning! Our group of ten ladies had the most wonderful weekend ever here. The layout and spaciousness made it feel comfortable so we could spread out. The kitchen was fabulous, and we loved the openness between the dining and living room areas. We made so many delicious meals, shared so many stories, laughs and drinks! The secluded location is beautiful. The driveway is a little hard to find in the dark, so I would suggest finding it during the daylight hours. The back roads getting there are a little rough and I would not take a small car down them. Secluded, yet only about 10 miles from the outside of Traverse City. The cabin itself is located on a beautiful piece of property. In better weather we certainly would have taken advantage of the awesome firepit and backyard patio and table. Unfortunately, the rain turned to snow while we were there so, we got to enjoy the beautiful fireplace instead while with sipped wine, exchanged gifts and played cards against humanity! Having the two living room areas was nice for large groups if you wanted to have two things going on at the same time. The home was super clean and comfortable. Any amenity that you would have wanted it was there. The owners, Ben and Christopher were so helpful. It was a pleasure to rent from them and we would definitely rent this cabin again. We actually are planning on another trip to Traverse City and are going to make sure this is the place to stay!

Cozy Cabin
Our family enjoyed this beautiful log cabin. The cabin is truly beautiful. Clean, well furnished, Beautifully designed, comfortable beds, well stocked with essentials. It is a great place if you want to just hunker down and read. Not too far of a drive to Traverse City. We ventured out to TC as well as to the wineries of Lelanau Peninsula and to some of the smaller towns such as Elk Rapids and Alden The colors on the trees up here were spectacular. The only things that keep me from giving this a 5 star rating would be that internet was basically non existent on most days. We looked forward to quiet evenings with a Netflix movie but because of the very spotty WiFi- Netflix would not work well or it at all. We would get some windows when it would be fine but when it rained it didn’t work at all. The other would be the road to get here. It is a dirt road but it is very bumpy and full of large potholes that require you to drive about 5 mph down Blair Town road. The road the cabin is on is fine but getting here is rough. This of course not a reflection of this cabin. We would stay here again but would suggest window treatments on bedrooms and bathrooms. Owner was awesome to work with. Very helpful and attentive.

Michigan Vacation Log Cabin Home
The Log Cabin home was a all we expected and more. Everyone enjoyed it. It was the perfect fit for our 6 adults and 4 children. We roasted marsh mellows in the evening, grilled every night it was a bit further to Traverse City than we wanted to be but not bad ride at all. Not bad drive to wineries, downtown Travers City Mackinac Island . It was a great get away during this COVID Craziness and we felt very safe . Great experience for all the kids and they were totally unplugged and didn't miss their electronics. WIFI is not to reliable at the Log cabin home. The only suggestions for owner is The Owner should mark the entrance of the drive better it was hard to find the drive, we drove past it twice upon arrival. The Queen mattress was very hard and uncomfortable on the first floor. We loved it and would recommend it to anyone. Most Important the Owner was very Reachable and Approachable. Look forward to another stay soon! Virginia Vartanian

A GREAT EXPIERENCE
First off the cabin is wonderfully located on a heavily wooded private lot. The Cabin itself spared no cost on construction or amenities. This is a true hand-peeled full-round log home with hand-cut slate floors. A true work of art. The stay was wonderful the host were wonderful we could not ask for more. we will DEFIANTLY BE BACK SOON

Friends Weekend
Pluses and minuses on this vacation property, but overall we enjoyed our stay. We utilized the grill and firepit on the spacious patio and appreciated the outdoor heater. The loft bedroom doesn't have a door, which seemed odd. Additionally, none of the windows have coverings or blinds, which was slightly uncomfortable. Short trip into TC and the casino. Had some unexpected visitors that was concerning enough for us to call and have the sheriff's office visit. Beautiful house and surroundings. Mixed experience overall.
