About this property

Last minute discounts at our 2 Bedroom 1.5 bath close to Leland and Suttons Bay

Time to think about your 2025 trip to Leelanau county. Do you just want to do some Kayaking, Biking, Boating and Hiking we are close to it all including The Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lake Shore, multiple wineries and distilleries . Master bedroom has one king size bed, second bedroom has queen size bed also a full and twin bunk bed. Air conditioning in both bedrooms. New for 2022 a half bathroom. Internet access available upon arrival. Living room with flat-screen TV. Ruko only(in vacation mode, bring your own password. you set the date when they erase.), no cable. A new couch and love seat added in 2019. Newly remodeled kitchen and dining room for 2024, gas stove, microwave and full size fridge and we just added a dishwasher. Just bring your groceries. Also a full size washer and dryer. Fire pit and gas grill. Sets in the woods off of a main bike route, Eagle Hwy. Central to Leland (10 min.), Suttons Bay (15 min.), Northport (20 min.), Lake Leelanau (7 min). Glen Arbor/Empire is about a 30/35 minute drive to get to Sleeping Bear Dunes. Great day trip! Also a great location to access the many wineries the county has to offer. Pack & Play with bedding, high chair available upon request.

Perfect stay. This place is great. Bigger than I’d had worried, and the location is ideally placed smack dab in the middle of the peninsula. If you go, I highly recommend watching the sun rise while drinking coffee on the front porch.

Perfect location

This home is in the perfect location on the Leelanau Peninsula. It’s an easy drive to Leland, Suttons Bay, Northport, etc. The house was clean upon arrival and we felt very comfortable there. Mike makes sure the house is well stocked with the necessities, just bring your clothes and food. It’s a quiet spot and has a nice yard to relax in. Would definitely recommend.

John & Carol Coldwell have lived and raised their family of 3 daughters in Leelanau County over the last 50+ years. They are both retired from the State of Michigan and now spend their free time working on the family fruit and vegetable farm. Family is very important to both John & Carol as they enjoy spending time with their 10 grandchildren as often as they can.

Why they chose this property

John & Carol Coldwell bought this property after Carol's mother moved from the location. They wanted to have some control over who their neighbor would be. After renting it as a monthly rental for years, they recently decided to try it as a weekly rental property to better maintain the property.

What makes this property unique

Across the road from the rental is a cherry orchard and the rental itself sets on an 80 acer cherry & fruit/vegetable farm the owners run and maintain. The lake (Lake Leelanau) is about a 3 minute drive from the house or a few minutes by bike. Leland, Lake Leelanau & Suttons Bay are all within 15 minutes by car. The house welcomes family pets and offers a green lawn as well. Find your own piece of paradise to escape to with a good book, a board game with family or making your own meals while the essentials are all there for your use.
