Escape tämän hyvin varustetun kodin ja nauttia seesteisyys metsät ja lähellä keskustan Tahoe City - alle 2 mailia!
Sijaitsee Tahoe Woods -osassa, Tahoe-järven länsirannalla, Edelweiss Escape -hotellissa on takana avoin metsäinen piha, jossa on ihana palo-kuoppa ja mukava iso etukansi, jossa on pöytä, upouusi propaani Weberin grilli ja tilava poreallas, josta on näkymät naapurustoon täynnä puita ja vuorenhuipunäkymä. Se on ihana perhehuone, jossa on runsaasti tilaa ulkoiluun!
Aja tähän kolmikerroksiseen kotiin, jossa on tilava 3 auton ajotieltä ja suuri 2-auton autotalli, jossa on tarjolla pingispöyt�� hauskaa ja pelejä varten! Nosta ulko-portaita ylöspäin tai autotallien sisään sisäänkäyntiin ja ylös portaita kohti päätasoa.
Päätaso avautuu viihtyisään oleskelutilaan, jossa on mukava puulämmitteinen takka, taulutelevisio kaapelilla ja DVD: llä sekä pianolle niille muusikoille! Myös tällä tasolla, ruokailutila piknik-penkki-tyylinen pöytä 8-10, ja vasta uusittu keittiö kaasukeitin. Liukuovi pois ruokailutilasta avautuu ihastuttavalle kannelle, jossa on suuri poreallas ja propaani.
Tämä taso sisältää myös päivitetyn kylpyhuoneen ja kaksi makuuhuonetta. Yhdessä makuuhuoneessa on Kalifornian king-vuode, toisessa kerrossänky, jossa on parivuode ja Queen-vuode. Pesutupa aivan olohuoneen ulkopuolella sisältää takaluukun, jossa on askeleet, jotka johtavat metsän takana kotiin.
Kävele yläkertaan kaksi makuuhuonetta ja toinen päivitetty kylpyhuone. Makuuhuone vasemmalle on hyvä lapsille, joissa on kaksi erillistä vuodetta ja kahden hengen vuodesohva, tilaa pelata ja ikkunoita metsään päin. Oikealla oleva makuuhuone on tilava, ja siinä on suuri Kalifornian kuningas-vuode ja näköala naapurustoon.

Quiet Get Away on Tahoe

The house was just as described. Comfortable and clean. Fans for every room which is a must on hotter days. Appreciate that it was dog friendly. Beds were firm but comfortable. Near wonderful hiking trails.

Amazing experience!

Communication was excellent! Really appreciate the agency and owner’s response time for all the questions we had. Property was AMAZING! Hot tub right next to the patio door, great kitchen stocked with actual tools needed to cook, and cozy & comfy rooms. Will absolutely stay again if available!

Reviewer Comments: We rented this home for 6 weeks. 4 bed/2 full bath, kitchen is nicely appointed with easy ‘entertaining’ & a large picnic style DR table that has a slider to the second floor porch w/hot tub & ‘views of Lake Tahoe thru the trees. It sits on the hill but not too difficult to drive up the road as long as 4 wheel drive. Very quiet & peaceful. The home is rustic & wood paneling thruout (is dark at times). 2 car garage w/direct home access. Hot water, WiFi work great, never any outage nor shortage. Cabin houses 8 guests - 2 king, 1 twin, 1 bunk - with lower bunk a queen. The LR is tight for more than 4 guests, we brought up porch chairs to accommodate seating. Beds - pillows are new (with pillow case liners!!) great support & sturdy. Ample linens for our 6 week stay. W/D in house (washer needs balancing) .Kitchen has a a lot of cooking items (cooking trays need to be replaced) we grilled a few times. Home has a snowblower!! And a wood fireplace insert that works great. We were quite satisfied w/the home - entering from garage to a vestibule & then up a flight of stairs keeps all the dirty boots off the living floor. We purchased a remnant to keep the lower entry tile floor cleaner. The home fit our needs (we were one full bath short when 8 adults in home), furniture is a little dated & sparse in LR, & cleanliness is a 4. However, Hauserman is quite responsive to contact rather an owner.

Winter Wonderland!

We loved our long weekend in you beautiful home! We had fresh snow for the kids to ski at Palisades, and for my husband (and dog) to snowshoe in Olympic Valley. The house and especially beds, were very comfortable, and we loved our evenings by the fire. We would love to come back again someday; maybe check out the neighborhood in the summer too. Thanks for sharing your mountain home!

The house was perfect, everyone got their own bedroom and the two baths worked great for the 8 of us. There was plenty of room and we never felt crowded. We were not able to ski several days as the resorts were closed due to weather, but we had a great time playing games, hot tubbing, sledding and stayed warm with the fireplace. The kitchen and eating space worked out great for all our many family meals. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything you needed. The driveway was plowed most days and the roads were drivable to the house. The location was close to town and the ski resorts. It was an epic adventure and the house was a big part of our fun trip!

It was cozy and homey - with a “cabin” feel... but still very spacious and complete with all the modern conveniences one could hope for! The neighborhood is lovely, very peaceful and the people we met were all extremely friendly. I loved the simple lay out of two bedrooms and a bath on the main floor and two bedrooms and a bath on the second floor. This is perfect for two small families in my opinion. They actually had king sized beds which was amazing! Firm mattresses (a bit too firm for me - but I slept well!).Just a 15 minute drive to the Alpine Meadows base area! Super kid friendly place - that even had some great games/toys. Our daughter built the play mobile volcano. Would totally recommend this home. Wonderful value and excellent stay. Thank you to the owners and thank you to Hauserman for another fantastic visit!

Great house and great location

We love North Shore and this was a great house in a great location! The description of the house was spot on! Very clean and it came with everything we needed. They even had an expresso machine! The hot tub was awesome after a day on the slopes and the kitchen and dining area fit our family and friends. The twin bed room was great for the kids and the rest of the rooms had comfortable beds. We would definitely rent here again. Loved how close it was to Tahoe City and to Alpine Meadows!

One great spot!

Lovely cozy bullet proof home on a cul de sac right off the woods and Tahoe Rim and Rawhide trails. The location was superb. The cleaning service did a great job but the couch cushion covers and throw pillows could really use a deep clean. Lots of stairs. Long flight from street/garage level to main living level. Otherwise totally dog and kid friendly. Lots of games for family time. We would stay there again. Kitchen very well equipped. Easy walk to coffee shop or Sunnyside or into the woods.

Wonderful time in Tahoe City!

Our group had a great time at the Edelweiss cabin! The house was in a great neighborhood, and was very clean upon our arrival. Some members of our group participated in the Spartan Race at Squaw Valley. The house was convenient and close to the venue (10 minutes). The house offered great amenities, and a great time was had by all! Highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a spot in Tahoe City!

Large, clean, hot tub was fantastic--spent every evening relaxing in the hot tub. Location central to wide range of local activities. All of the bedrooms were super comfortable with top--of-the-line bedding. Nice quality washer and dryer. Very Highly Recommend!

Beautiful place to relax!

We had a great time at the cabin. The listing and pictures were accurate. The cabin was well equipped. It is near trails and even we walked to Tahoe city from there. We will definitely love to rent it again!
