LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. We're along the scenic & historic, east coast of Kauai... The Royal Coconut Coast & Kapaa town. 3 min. walk to beach, 3 pools, 2 hot tubs.

Can walk to beaches, dining, shopping, hiking & located along the famous & beloved 8 mile, oceanside walking/biking path & more.

Central on island, 15 mins. from airport.

The resort is an Authentic, Hawaiian 'Plantation style', two story condo complex.

This location allows you to drive to Hanalei (north) in 30 minutes and also to Poipu ( south) in 30 minutes.

If you prefer not to rent a car, the Kauai bus line stops close by.

D-15 is a newly renovated, one bedroom condo on the second floor with rejuvenating garden & distant ocean views from the lanai/deck .

The bedroom has an inviting king sized bed, adorned with luxurious, high thread count linens and beautiful Aloha furnishings. A Queen pull out sofa with new 6 inch mattress for more comfort, accommodates 1 or 2 guests.

Elegant maple cabinets, a full & well stocked kitchen with granite countertops are welcoming & functional.

The toilet & tub/shower, are separated from sink/dressing area for privacy.

We are meticulous cleaners and know you will appreciate it.

We fell in LOVE with Kauai on our first visit and after visiting the islands many times, we chose to purchase property on Kauai so we could share the gifts this amazing and beautiful 'Garden Island' has to offer.

It is so satisfying to provide a quality, clean, affordable 'home away from home' for our guests and we really appreciate how well everyone takes care of it...just as we do when we travel as guests.

Helping others find relaxation, tranquility and adventure gives us great joy and we know that they too will fall in love with this 'paradise on earth' and our condo as their home, while visiting.

Lovely, functional condo with A/C!

I specifically chose this property because of its central location to everything, and because we really wanted a unit with A/C, which is hard to come by on the island. We were very pleased with our stay. Unit was comfortable, and gave us a cool respite from our adventures during the day. A/C cooled the unit down fast! We enjoyed relaxing in the living area and using the small kitchen for breakfast each day. Conveniently located next to Coconut Marketplace and 2 grocery stores, Starbucks, etc. The beach is steps away. Only things we wished were different were 1) the bed was a bit soft for our tastes and transferred a lot of motion if one person moved in the night, and 2) ocean view was blocked by a wall, which I think is temporary and due to construction. Overall, this unit met our needs and was a good value. Hosts were responsive and helpful too when we requested a late checkout.

Cozy place indeed!

Oh, we loved this place. It was the perfect size for my two daughters and I. I loved the kitchen; nicely equipped, and easy to work in. Vivian and Greg were perfect hosts. They communicated with us often and answered our questions promptly. Would not hesitate to stay again. Thank you.

Great home base while visiting Kauai!

The condo was extremely clean and well appointed, and we found Vivian and Lyle very responsive and helpful prior to and during our stay. The condo had everything we needed, and was a good central location to get to all the parts of the island we wanted to see. The beach was less than a 5 minute walk, and while not so good for swimming, was great for sunbathing. You do hear some road noise if you have the windows/sliders open, but it is not overly intrusive. We would stay here again.

We took full advantage of this central location, close to the airport and about half way between Waimea State Park (and Canyon) in the northwest and Na 'Aina Kai Botanical Gardens in the northeast. The town of Kapaa is full of small but very good restaurants. Plantation Hale Suites is a large facility, has been around for years, but is a well maintained complex. It lost a "star" because it shows it's age and has lost it's view of the ocean. The views (even from the second floors) are obstructed by an 10 to 12 foot high fence surrounding an empty property that is awaiting development.

Owner's Response: It was our pleasure to host Heinz and his wife. We're glad they enjoyed our central location and the many things to see and do easily from there. Our condo is newly renovated, including king bed with luxurious linens and other furniture. Yes, we are awaiting the construction of a beautiful Hyatt property across the street, however, there is no set date at this point. The ocean and beautiful beach are just a 2 minute walk and are easily accessible for everyone to enjoy. With warmest Aloha, Vivian and Lyle : )
