•THE HOUSE Small, free-standing, private, 1945 bungalow style house with comfy new beds, refinished hardwood floors, contemporary concrete counter tops, wood wainscoting in the original tiled bathroom, and modern/industrial shelving units in the bedrooms. I provide sheets, bath towels, dishes, pots, pans, kitchen utensils, and pretty much everything you need to cook a meal! The home includes easy driveway parking, a fenced in back yard, as well as a small wooden deck with a beautiful oak tree swooping over - great for outdoor dining! You and your family and friends will have the house to yourselves.

•Can sleep up to 4 people comfortably (max occupancy is 5 people - I recommend bringing along an air mattress and/or sleeping bag if you have a 5th guests in your party)

BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
•Email the following prior to your arrival:
1) The best cell phone number to reach you on your way here and during your stay. If another guest will be checking in before you, I will need their best cell number in addition to yours.
2) Your preferred arrival time & incoming/outgoing flight information (note earliest check-in is 4pm, and latest check-out is 12pm unless otherwise specified) so that I can most efficiently have the house complete and ready upon your arrival.
3) A copy or picture of your photo ID (driver's license/passport). Please be prepared to show this valid photo ID upon check-in. If another guest will be checking in before you, I will need a copy of their photo ID in addition to yours.
4) Signed Rental Agreement - Although a Standard Rental Agreement may be attached, I will email you a custom rental agreement specific to your dates, guest/pet list, & cost info. Provide a Guest List (first and last names and ages) plus pet information (age, weight, & breed of each) and dates in which each guest/pet will be staying. Please also include your home address.
•PARKING – (2 Car Maximum at any one time) Only park in my driveway or in front of my front yard on the street.
•NEIGHBORS - Please be very cognizant and respectful of my neighbors; they report to me and/or police if anything is out of the ordinary.
•DAMAGE - If anything is damaged or broken, please contact Ginger immediately.
•NUMBER OF GUESTS & PETS - No overnight guests (or pets) unless confirmed through Airbnb and/or previously agreed upon by Ginger.
•NO GET-TOGETHERS, SMALL GATHERINGS, OR EVENTS ARE PERMITTED AT THIS PROPERTY.
•NO SMOKING - No smoking inside the house! Smoking is permitted outside only, but please ensure proper disposal of cigarette butts.
•KEYS/DOORS/LOCKS - Make sure to lock all exterior doors when you leave any time during your stay.
•HVAC - Please be cognizant and respectful of the temperature setting on the HVAC – set to around 80 degrees in hot months and 65 degrees during cold months when the house is not occupied and when you are checking out; ALWAYS keep fan setting to auto; NEVER turn unit completely off.
•REQUIRED CLEANING - Feel free to use kitchen utensils, glasses, plates, pots, and pans, but be sure to thoroughly clean before returning them to cupboards.
•CHECK-OUT PROCEDURES - Check-out time is 12pm and all Check-Out Procedures located on the front cover of the house binder must be complete by that time.
•TRASH - Extra kitchen trash bags are located under the sink; if the can fills, the outside trash bin (green) is behind the black wooden fence. Every Tuesday Evening, please pull outside trash bin (green) out to the street for Wednesday morning pickup and return behind fence once complete.
•RECYCLE - There is a blue recycling bin under the sink; if it fills, the outside recycling bin (blue) is also behind the black wooden fence. Every other Monday Evening, please pull outside recycle bin (blue) out to the street for Tuesday morning pickup and return behind fence once complete.
•LAUNDRY - The laundry facility is located in the guest bedroom closet.
•CABLE - There is Comcast Xfinity Cable on both televisions.
•WIFI - Network and Password are located on the front of the guest information binder. The modem/router is located under the living room TV in the console.
My home is located in a quiet downtown Charleston suburban area just about a 3-5 minute drive (or short bike ride) from Upper King, amazing restaurants and shopping, gorgeous parks, our local Charleston Farmer's Market at Marion Square, and many historic sites. The Peninsula of historic downtown Charleston is about 3.5 miles long and 1.5 miles wide, so everything downtown is very convenient and easily accessible by car, Uber/taxi, pedicab, or bike. Feel free to bring your own bikes or I can recommend some nearby bike rental companies.
