Charming Home In Quiet Neighborhood | Indoor+Outdoor Dining |Fenced In Back Yard

•All children and adults regardless of age should be accounted for when inquiring or booking

•THE HOUSE Small, free-standing, private, 1945 bungalow style house with comfy new beds, refinished hardwood floors, contemporary concrete counter tops, wood wainscoting in the original tiled bathroom, and modern/industrial shelving units in the bedrooms. I provide sheets, bath towels, dishes, pots, pans, kitchen utensils, and pretty much everything you need to cook a meal! The home includes easy driveway parking, a fenced in back yard, as well as a small wooden deck with a beautiful oak tree swooping over - great for outdoor dining! You and your family and friends will have the house to yourselves.

•All children and adults regardless of age should be accounted for when booking (entered as number of guests)

•Can sleep up to 4 people comfortably (max occupancy is 5 people - I recommend bringing along an air mattress and/or sleeping bag if you have a 5th guests in your party)

•2 Bedrooms

•1 Full Bathroom

•Full use of entire house

•1 Queen Bed (in master bedroom)

•1 Full Sized bed (in guest room)

•1 Sofa (in living room)

•Use of Washer/Dryer

•Cable TV (in master bedroom and living room)

•Pets are negotiable (a non-refundable fee per pet will be added)

•Included: Linens, bath towels, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, and a portable fan

•Extras: I also provide the following - shampoo/conditioner, body soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, hand soap, snacks, coffee, hot tea, and some condiments/salad dressing, etc.

BEFORE YOU ARRIVE

•Email the following prior to your arrival:

1) The best cell phone number to reach you on your way here and during your stay. If another guest will be checking in before you, I will need their best cell number in addition to yours.

2) Your preferred arrival time & incoming/outgoing flight information (note earliest check-in is 4pm, and latest check-out is 12pm unless otherwise specified) so that I can most efficiently have the house complete and ready upon your arrival.

3) A copy or picture of your photo ID (driver's license/passport). Please be prepared to show this valid photo ID upon check-in. If another guest will be checking in before you, I will need a copy of their photo ID in addition to yours.

4) Signed Rental Agreement - Although a Standard Rental Agreement may be attached, I will email you a custom rental agreement specific to your dates, guest/pet list, & cost info. Provide a Guest List (first and last names and ages) plus pet information (age, weight, & breed of each) and dates in which each guest/pet will be staying. Please also include your home address.

PROPERTY RULES

•PARKING – (2 Car Maximum at any one time) Only park in my driveway or in front of my front yard on the street.

•NEIGHBORS - Please be very cognizant and respectful of my neighbors; they report to me and/or police if anything is out of the ordinary.

•DAMAGE - If anything is damaged or broken, please contact Ginger immediately.

•NUMBER OF GUESTS & PETS - No overnight guests (or pets) unless confirmed through Airbnb and/or previously agreed upon by Ginger.

•NO GET-TOGETHERS, SMALL GATHERINGS, OR EVENTS ARE PERMITTED AT THIS PROPERTY.

•NO SMOKING - No smoking inside the house! Smoking is permitted outside only, but please ensure proper disposal of cigarette butts.

•KEYS/DOORS/LOCKS - Make sure to lock all exterior doors when you leave any time during your stay.

•HVAC - Please be cognizant and respectful of the temperature setting on the HVAC – set to around 80 degrees in hot months and 65 degrees during cold months when the house is not occupied and when you are checking out; ALWAYS keep fan setting to auto; NEVER turn unit completely off.

•REQUIRED CLEANING - Feel free to use kitchen utensils, glasses, plates, pots, and pans, but be sure to thoroughly clean before returning them to cupboards.

•CHECK-OUT PROCEDURES - Check-out time is 12pm and all Check-Out Procedures located on the front cover of the house binder must be complete by that time.

HOUSE MANUAL

•TRASH - Extra kitchen trash bags are located under the sink; if the can fills, the outside trash bin (green) is behind the black wooden fence. Every Tuesday Evening, please pull outside trash bin (green) out to the street for Wednesday morning pickup and return behind fence once complete.

•RECYCLE - There is a blue recycling bin under the sink; if it fills, the outside recycling bin (blue) is also behind the black wooden fence. Every other Monday Evening, please pull outside recycle bin (blue) out to the street for Tuesday morning pickup and return behind fence once complete.

•LAUNDRY - The laundry facility is located in the guest bedroom closet.

•CABLE - There is Comcast Xfinity Cable on both televisions.

•WIFI - Network and Password are located on the front of the guest information binder. The modem/router is located under the living room TV in the console.

LOCATION

My home is located in a quiet downtown Charleston suburban area just about a 3-5 minute drive (or short bike ride) from Upper King, amazing restaurants and shopping, gorgeous parks, our local Charleston Farmer's Market at Marion Square, and many historic sites. The Peninsula of historic downtown Charleston is about 3.5 miles long and 1.5 miles wide, so everything downtown is very convenient and easily accessible by car, Uber/taxi, pedicab, or bike. Feel free to bring your own bikes or I can recommend some nearby bike rental companies.

•Less than a mile from beautiful Hampton Park, and 2.2 miles from Marion Square

•Harris Teeter Grocery Store is 2.6 miles away

•BEACH: Sullivan’s Island (8.8 miles away, 15 minutes)

•BEACH: Folly Beach is (12.5 miles away, 20 minutes)

About Ginger

I have been working in the hospitality and service industry since 1997, and will be happy to provide recommendations on activities and dining in the area. I absolutely love meeting people from all over the world and getting to know my guests before and throughout their stay!

I currently work full time for a large construction firm. I love music, art, running, going to the beach, boating, good food, and good wine.

I am a very clean and organized person. I have no children or pets, but welcome them in my home as long as they are well behaved and their parents clean up after them. :) My home is not completely child proof, so if you and your child or children are visiting here, I recommend doing a walk through to put away any decor that may be an issue.

Why Ginger chose Wagener Terrace

My Neighborhood is called North Central, and like the name suggests, it is on the central north side of the Downtown Charleston Peninsula. Besides having great neighbors, what I love about my neighborhood is that the homes have a lot of charm and character as many of them were built in the early to mid 1900s, we have yards to spread out in and driveways for parking, and it is quiet at night time. There are about 27+ restaurants/bars/breweries within walking distance and more every day because the area is so popular. It is very near the interstate, so it's a super quick trip to and from the airport. It is an excellent place for a run, walk, or bike ride. Although a few of the homes are slightly transitional, North Central is a very neighborly, charming, sweet little spot!

What makes this house unique

I have a great deal of experience in property management and guest accommodations and tend to go above and beyond for my guests. Unlike many other vacation rental Owners, I make myself available 24/7 to my guests. I provide a personally written list of recommendations which I regularly update and keep in the house for your use. I am a huge foodie/wino and could talk for days about all the amazing restaurants in the area! If there is anything I can do to make your stay more enjoyable or comfortable, please let me know!

Great property and overall good location

My husband and I rented this property in January 2018 over the weekend of the Charleston Marathon. It was a great little house with a fenced back area for our dogs. We walked into the historic district (~ 2 miles) but could easily use Uber if you do not want to walk that far. Walking distance some good restaurants (Butcher & Bee, Leon's, Harbinger Cafe, Edmonds Oast). Ginger was great to work with, left bananas and protein bars for pre-race and a little bottle of champagne for the post race celebration.We would/will definitely consider renting this property again!

Charming and perfect place if you travel with your dogs.

Extremely well decorated, with great bedding and linens. The fenced yard makes travel with dogs perfect. Nice up and coming area near downtown and a very quite neighborhood. The food in Charleston is absolutely the best in the world. We loved staying at this house.

Absolutely Perfect!

My wife and I planned a getaway for a few days and one of the best decisions we made was renting this place from Ginger! From the get-go, she was quick to respond and to make sure to thoroughly answer any questions we had. We met her at the house on the first day and she gave us a quick tour and went through a VERY detailed suggestion book of places to visit. We were on this trip to try out local, unique food places, and many of the places we visited were suggested by her! As far as the house, it was enclosed with a fence for our little dog to run around and a huge, shaded oak tree hung over the deck area for us to enjoy a nice cup of coffee in the morning! The bed was super comfortable, and the whole place was just a great little place! Great hospitality throughout the entire process. The basic daily essentials were included. An added bonus that we didn't even consider was a washer and dryer for us to use if we we needed to! The location was perfect for us and it was just close enough to get anywhere we needed to! When we visit again, we are going to be sure to try to snatch this place up again!!

Cute little house that has everything you would need

This house is very cute and designed well. It has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Owner is very nice and checked in with us to see if we needed anything through out our stay. Very close to downtown and everything. Would not reccomend walking anywhere the neighborhood is up and coming... Would recommend and stay here again! Thank you
