Summary:
Beautiful home only one block from Pleasure Point a favorite surf spot in Santa Cruz! P#221288. Large rooms with lots of natural light perfect for individual or family use. Large loft-style upstairs bedroom has a private bath, desk area for work or play and a large balcony. Fully stocked kitchen with butcher block island seating allows for culinary fun. Well groomed yard perfect for relaxing or entertaining. Close to all the favorite beach spots including Capitola Village and Santa Cruz Boardwalk & the wharf. This beach house is a pleasure point that will keep you coming back!
The Space:
Enter the wooden gate to a joyful corner beach house complete with private yard that offers well maintained grass and a gathering area for you and your friends. Step inside to a light and bright well decorated house offering you all the good feels a vacation should! To your left you have an open dining area with dining table and chairs, a then a full bathroom, straight ahead is the fully stocked kitchen which includes a butcher block island with breakfast seating for two. To the right around the staircase is the family room where you can sit comfortably and enjoy some game play, movies or quiet reading. Two bedrooms occupy the main floor. Upstairs you will find the large primary bedroom with a large bed, private bathroom, laundry room and a separate work area with a desk and access to the large balcony.
Guest Access:
PROPERTY ACCESS: The front door has an electronic lock and is accessible anytime. We will send out the check in instructions 48 hours before you arrive. You can expect to receive them via your booking portal messaging system.
The Neighborhood:
Parking is tight in the neighborhood. Please be conscientious of the neighboring driveways and spots. There is one parking spot on the property and on street parking is also available.
**Please note that the door does not automatically lock behind you, you have to manually enter the code and twist the dead bolt to lock the door***
This neighborhood is up close and personal to one of the favorite surf spots in Santa Cruz-Pleasure Point is just a few houses down at the end of the street. It is a lovely neighborhood with a Northern California Beach feel.
Getting Around:
Many of the most popular locations in Santa Cruz are a short distance from this home. Many of which can be accessed by walking or biking!
By car you can quickly access the wonderful towns of Santa Cruz, Capitola and Aptos. Further out you can drive to Monterey-which is about an hour south.
Other Things to Note:
There are no daily housekeeping services. The property is professionally cleaned after each departure and inspected before arrival. We provide bathroom hand soap, 3-in-1 body/hair wash, hand towels, bath towels, wash cloths, paper and toilet paper. The kitchen is stocked with basic needs such as salt & pepper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, hand soap, kitchen towels & complimentary drip coffee bar to get you started off right. Beach towels are provided. A pack-n play is provided. Wifi is strong and capable for home school or work for easy staycations.
NOTE: Please be aware that due to cooler climate experienced from ocean breezes, properties in Santa Cruz county, especially near the coast, typically do not have air conditioning.
Please review all House Rules posted-no parties are allowed. While this is a great party home we ask that you keep your guests to the minimum and respect our friendly neighbors. This is a great beach community and you will find friendly faces amongst neighbors and local residents and surfers that enjoy strolling the walkway down the street that overlooks the point and the wet sandy beach below. As this is a longtime family home many good times have been had here. Our owners would like to welcome you to their home and family and ask that you treat this home and neighborhood as if it were your own.
There is no access to the downstairs bedroom lofts or the rooftop beyond the balcony.
