The house was built in the early 1970s by artists and still has an artsy feel, with paintings on many walls. Bike paths and the public shuttle bus are nearby and the Nantucket town is only 3 miles away. Hydrangea Cottage is encircled by trees that create a calming experience. Welcome to the Old Nantucket.
Hydrangea Cottage is in Surfside and is a few minutes walk from a beach that is nestled between Fisherman's and Surfside public. The house has an open plan with a living area and a kitchen/dining area with a window seat. There is also a sunporch. There is a master bedroom and bedroom with a single bed on the first floor. There is a newly renovated bathroom on the first floor too. On the second floor there is a bedroom with twin beds, a brand new bathroom and a loft area. In the loft there is a brand new 40" Roku TV with cable. There is also a futon couch that folds out to a full-sized bed. In the backyard, there is an outdoor shower, charcoal grill, hammock, outdoor furniture and umbrella. In the laundry/changing room there are beach toys, beach chairs, beach umbrella, and a loster/clam pot. Towels and linens are provided as well as beach towels.
