Both your living room and master bedroom have fabulous balconies that actually overlook the ocean - if you were any closer you would get wet! At low tide, we have over a hundred feet of white sand beach, and at high tide, we have about 20 feet of sand. Handicap access ramp to beach over the rocks is less than 50 yards away. Watch bottle-nose dolphins play and jump just offshore, see big ships making their daily trips into and out of the Port of Brunswick. Why settle for a stack-a-shack condo at Beach Club or Breakers? High Tide Cottage puts the K & P Villas to shame!
Our ocean front home is directly ON THE WATER - just 3 blocks from the village pier and 1 block from St. Simons beautiful pool with lifeguard protection. This is a quiet residential neighborhood and features beautifully landscaped grounds. This is our private home, not some impersonal high rise "CLUB" condo with no personality except for a GRAND rental fee. Remember, when an advertiser says "walk to the beach", they often mean "a mile from the water."
Most VRBO properties offer only an OCEAN GLIMPSE - what a disappointment. Instead, you deserve a real ocean front home for your vacation!! More than 3000 square feet of luxury! HIGH TIDE COTTAGE is situated on three levels. The TERRRACE LEVEL contains a very large 1 car garage. Behind the garage is a bedroom suite with a king bed, a full bath and a den area with sofa, comfy chairs, and large screen TV. Off the den is a small bedroom with bunk beds (twin on top, full size futon on lower) also with cable tv (perfect for kids). This terrace suite has direct access to the oceanfront as well as interior stair access to the upper levels. The TERRACE SUITE is a great bedroom for grandparents or a visiting couple since it is more private. Kids love it too.
The LIVING ROOM LEVEL is completely open and perfect for socializing. There is a large, fully equipped kitchen, large separate dining room, large living area with TV, DVD, and stereo, and a covered porch with a fabulous view of the ocean. It has a table and chairs and stairs that lead down to the terrace level which overlooks the beach. In addition, this level features a large bedroom (2 twin beds that can be pushed together to form a king) with full bath.
The UPPER LEVEL has two large bedrooms (king in master, king in second bedroom) and two full private baths. There is also a small futon and a porta-crib on this floor for little ones not ready for a "big bed" yet.
Each bedroom on this level has a TV and a covered deck with comfy chairs, perfect for reading and relaxing in the shade, away from the main living area. The master deck overlooks the beach and ocean with a spectacular 180 degree ocean view.
That's a total of 4 full bedrooms (3 king size beds + 1 pair of twin size beds) plus an additional set of bunk beds (one twin + one full) on the terrace level.
Don't spend your hard earned vacation dollars on a NON-oceanfront property when you can have the vacation of a lifetime at HIGH TIDE. Skip those "stack-a-shack" condos and stay with us directly on the ocean! The view is simply breath-taking!

High Tide Cottage is located DIRECTLY on the ATLANTIC OCEAN so you can watch the waves come and go 24 hours a day. Most homes on the island are either half a mile back from the beach or only offer an ocean glimpse from the top floor. There is no other property on Saint Simons with as much of a full frontal view of the water as HIGH TIDE COTTAGE. We fell in love with this property the first time we saw it (actually our jaws dropped to the floor when we walked inside and saw the view) and still get goose bumps whenever we are here.
