A charming cottage, ideally situated for a perfect holiday.

This traditional cottage which has been carefully and sympathetically restored, is beautifully situated on a quiet arm of the Sound - the imaginatively landscaped garden runs down to the beach. We saw the stately ferries gliding across the water, watched birds - from humming birds to bald eagles, or just admired the scenery. After dark, the lights of the opposite shore reflected on the water were magical. The cottage is very well equipped with everything we could possibly need for our 3 night stay, and many thoughtful extras. Our hosts have made the cottage a delightful place to stay - we hope to be back.

I stayed at the cottage for 4 nights and 5 days. It was the most peaceful and relaxing place I have ever stayed. Everything you need is inside the cottage - refrigerator, stove, coffee pot, microwave, etc. The cottage is so cozy and clean. I would recommend this cottage to anyone who wants to stay on Bainbridge Island.

Stayed at the B.I. Beach Cottage while prospecting the island for possible relocation. Its charms exceeded our expectations substantially, starting with the bayfront panorama including glimpses of frequent WA State Ferries in the distance, the gorgeous English garden at top of bank leading down to the beach, the ample-yet-cozy size of the cottage, including a fully serviceable kitchen, the rustic comfort of the furnishings, the quality of bedding and bath amenities, and the early-century cottage feel of the large bathroom with clawfoot tub fronting a garden/beach view -- yet curtainable for privacy! The owner was helpful with nicely handwritten, personalized recommendations for local eateries, snacking and sightseeing options. Upon arrival, the room was replete with helpful maps and guides for exploring Bainbridge Island. Indeed, the only enhancement I could ask for would be if our beloved beagles could share the treasures of this getaway with us!

We loved our two-night stay at this beach cottage. It had a perfect location right on the waterfront and all the charm you hope for in a classic, historic beach cottage. The rocking chairs on the front porch were an ideal spot to enjoy a cup of coffee and read a good book. The cottage is well-outfitted with supplies, and the bed is beautiful and very comfortable. It is also walking distance to a cute little town. If we get the opportunity to visit Bainbridge Island again, we would choose to stay in this exact place. It was the ideal spot for a relaxing getaway, and Julie is a wonderful host.

We had a very relaxing, enjoyable time at this adorable cottage. Every picture shows exactly what you can expect. The cottage is clean and bright with plenty of room. There are some good restaurants within walking distance, plus it is just a quick drive to Winslow, the hub of the island. Julie is a pleasant, friendly innkeeper. This is a place where we would stay again.

The Beach Cottage is truely an absolutely wonderful place to stay, and even better than the pictures and descriptions. When i arrived, fresh tulips on the kitchen table were so welcoming, and it got better from there. The bed was very comfortable, lots of fresh thick towels, and even the unexpected, like coffee available for my use. The grounds are beautiful and I enjoyed a long walk on the beach and a walk into the village. The owners are very nice, willing to do anything to make my stay wonderful. It is in a quiet area of the island. I saw lots of birds and other wildlife, had great afternoon sun on the front porch, which I took advantage of by relaxing in the rocking chairs. Although I stayed here by myself, the cottage will easily accomodate 2 or 3 people. I have nothing negative to say - everything was perfect.
