July: 4 Weeks: $31,000, 3 Weeks: $24,000, 2 Weeks: $17,000
August: 4 Weeks: $31,000, 3 Weeks: $24,000, 2 Weeks: $17,000
September: 4 Weeks: $20,000, 3 Weeks: $15,000, 2 Weeks: $10,000
We prefer 2 week or greater rentals but will consider 1 week rentals
as we get closer to end of 2009.

Year Purchased: 1932
This is a property that was bought and built by our great grandparents in 1932. Since then it has been passed down to the current generation of brothers who have been improving the house with modern amenities to make our guests and renters feel at home. We have been fortunate over the years to have had some "long term" renters who come back year after year and once you stay at the house you will understand why they do.
Why the Owner Chose Southwest Harbor
Our great grandparents were one of many families who back in the early 1900's decided to escape the summer heat of Philadelphia and head north to the beautiful island of Mount Desert. After searching the towns of Northeast and Bar Harbor for the best spot they could possibly find, they settled on the quiet town of Manset which lies on the south side of Southwest Harbor. They were able to buy a property where the famous Stanley Hotel once stood and built the beautiful house you see today.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Sea Ledges in our humble opinion has the best view on the island. With Southwest Harbor to the west, Somes Sound to the north, and the Cranberry islands and the Atlantic Ocean to the east, the view is absolutly incredible. Added to this relaxing atmosphere is the closeness of Acadia National Park without the craziness of Bar Harbor. Finally, very few houses offer 14 beds (big enough for two families!) and a deepwater dock with 2 moorings for your boats.
